  1. This is simple, beautiful and practical. 2022 Toyota Aqua revealed with hybrid powertrain, bidirectional charging After 10 years on the market, during which 1.87 million units have been sold, the Toyota Aqua is transitioning to the second generation. It exited the North American market where it was known as the Prius C a few years ago, but it continues in its domestic market Japan with a fresh look, a different platform, and some clever features. Featuring a far more modern design than its predecessor, the 2022 Aqua has been fitted with a one-pedal operation mode as regenerative braking kicks in the moment the driver eases the pressure on the accelerator pedal. Offered as standard with front-wheel drive, the small electrified hatchback can be ordered with an E-Four system for better traction courtesy of AWD. Toyota claims it’s the first automaker to install a high-output bipolar nickel-hydrogen in a road-going hybrid. Compared to the battery pack used by the first-gen Aqua, the new cells offer better, smoother acceleration at low speeds while featuring double the output over the original model’s pack. At the same time, the hatchback can travel at higher speeds than before when the internal combustion engine is turned off. Interestingly, the vehicle comes equipped as standard with support for bidirectional charging courtesy of a power outlet (1,500W / AC100 V) which incorporates an emergency power supply mode. This will come in handy in a blackout as the energy stored in the car’s batteries can be used to power various household appliances. Riding on the TNGA-B platform, the 2022 Aqua has a 50-mm longer wheelbase than before and boasts a large 10.5-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system. The driver’s seat rotates and there are plenty of storage spaces throughout the cabin, giving the hatchback impressive practicality for such a small car. The greater distance between the axles has generated additional legroom for rear passengers along with a more spacious cargo area.
  2. Toll is expensive and no tourist ETC for route Osaka-Shikoku. Only tourist ETC at Shikoku island but not worthed. Hokkaido I never drove in dead winter but definitely is cheaper there since got tourist ETC. Hokkaido road I felt is more wider than Shikoku area. Example to Kakashi No Sato is about 89 km rural road and at least 7-8 sections is only one car lane two ways. Since I go in off peak season there is no traffic control otherwise there is timing for up and down traffic. Driving to mountain side also similar issue so many sections one lane two traffic few times I need to reverse to holding area or other car need to reverse. Going down from Tengu Kogen is bit nerving so many chicane or hair pin turns, anything more than 30 lah car can’t stop at reasonable distance. Going up takes me about 45 mins and going down almost 2 hrs with frozen asphalt. Almost similar in Iya Valley when going back down but with more snow less slippery. Witness one accident aqua drive too fast inside tunnel and once exit tunnel road is frozen, he can’t stop car spun and hit cliff.
  3. Anyone got this Aqua? The head unit can use those carplay? Whats the system they using for the head unit? Andriod?

  8. Sorry I really buay lun liao... It is not Honda Jazz (or Fit) but Toyota Ah gua Aqua. FYI, it could also be Toyota Prius C since it is just badge engineering for different market.
  9. Clearer spy shots in the ring. Look like a crossbreed between Aqua and Yaris Cross, and wearing a pair of high heels.
  10. OK I finally managed to run down my fuel to 1/4 tank today. FC is roughly 22km/l using Shell 95 with manual paper tracking. Pumped Caltex 92 for my Toyota Aqua and see how it goes...
  11. The Aqua Kent water dispenser, which can hold 3- or 5-gallon water bottles, comes highly recommended. It is easy to install and use, has a sleek and contemporary design, and generates clean, reviving water in addition to offering both hot and cold water.
  12. I think the top 1/4 meter drops slower. You would have to observe further throughout the whole tank. But Toyota Aqua Prius C definitely would give great fuel economy.
  13. Hi guys is it normal for a Toyota Prius C/Aqua to hit 37 km/l? I just got this car, pumped full tank from 1/4 (3 bars out of 10), and then went about my daily tasks. Clocked about 133km before the first bar finally blinked off. Based on 1 bar = 3.6litres, my FC would be 36.99km/l? I know it's not accurate until I pump full tank again la, but still would like to seek opinions/views.
  14. Just changed my wipers @ $18 for a pair of 22“/26” NWB aqua graphite. Was searching if this brand is any good when I saw this thread. Guess it’s decent then. Got them at Teng Soon in yew tee if anyone is searching, i think shopee is selling for ard the same price
  15. The all-new #ToyotaAqua is the first Toyota model to feature the Comfort Pedal. By selecting the Power+ Mode, drivers only have to relax pressure on the accelerator pedal to generate regenerative braking force, and smoothly slow the vehicle. The Comfort Pedal reduces driver burden by lessening the frequency with which accelerator and brake pedals have to be pressed, and also results in responsive feedback. The latest generation is also the first Aqua to adopt E-Four, which provides drivers with greater peace of mind when driving on snow-covered roads. Thanks to a highly efficient 1.5-liter Dynamic Force Engine and an optimized HEV system, the all-new Aqua not only achieves compact class-leading fuel economy of 35.8 km/L, but combines this with the comfortable driving characteristics of an HEV. An accessory power outlet (AC100 V / 1,500 W) and an emergency power supply mode are equipped to all grades as standard. During blackouts and other times of emergency, parking the vehicle and placing it in Emergency Power Supply Mode enables the Aqua to be used to power electrical appliances such as electric kettles and hair dryers. When driving normally, the vehicle can be used to power appliances via its accessory power outlet, and also to charge smartphones and other electrical devices via its in-cabin USB terminals.
  16. Someone in my car group WhatsApp pointed out that many former car share totoya aquas now available in the resale market for you to own! (Being replaced by EVs). Good as new! Low mileage! Cheaper than renting from car sharing! https://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/listing.php?MOD=aqua&PRC=0&DEP=0&RGD=0&VEH=0&AVL=2 Smart dealers will change the number plate. The more stingy ones will leave the famous number plates and surely got one fine day an avid car sharer will tell the new owner the history of the car and the last reported mileage...
  17. Relax, relax.....I told you I completed my 5 years plan and bosses not coming after me till Q1 2023 liao. And this year is another record year. Only thing is next year may not be easy. Got to think. So I come here tok tok and think lor 😛 Yes lah, but we just here tok kok only mah. For those countries, we cannot govern them one. No right or wrong, just good and bad. Too bad, Thailand made a bad decision. But we cannot reverse them. Easy.....I will not 全家大小 come here and enjoy them. I am here all the time since last year, I touched nothing. Not ladies and not aqua. I just go bai bai for safety only
  18. Parts of PIE heading to city from jurong side got lots of water ponding on lane 1. One section (near bukit batok side ) lane 1 fully covered with water, might cause aqua planning. All cars siam to lane 2 .
  19. If I got a car like that I would demand a replacement. I once got a Smove Mitsubishi Attrage that was pretty much undrivable (the wheels cannot steer straight at all), so I called them and asked to switch to another car. Thankfully their service quality was quite good and they swapped me to a Toyota Aqua.
  20. So from the little I know about shariot, they have alot alot of bezels and recently underwent a price increase. This was just posted in their fb group... Would be nice to have an aqua, sienta and Vezel but no Hahaha all same shape...
  21. If really want cheap, actually just get those Aqua shoes from Qoo10 or shopee, about $10. And only do your runs at the stadium track. Start with short distance and gradually increase your mileage to strengthen the achilles tendon and calves.
  22. Don't know yet. Just in the process of installation. They have also wasted money to fence up an area for Dog Run near the PA Aqua centre side. I agree that there will become white elephants.
  23. Blitz Power Con install DIY 2018 Honda Stepwgn Spada RP3 Blitz Power Con is a simple piggy back ECU which increases boost from 0.75 bar to 1.0 bar and increase 20ps (according to Blitz's website) by simply plugging into 2 pressure sensor (1 main and 1 sub sensor). I choose this because it is easy to install, fully reversible, a healthy increase in power and not expensive. Sure, this is not the best way to tune a car, but for a family car, it's more than enough for me. I have already installed the Blitz Carbon Power Air Cleaner which makes the install of the Power Con even easier since I only need to remove 2 bolts and unplug the air mass sensor and the air filter comes right off. For those with the OEM air box, there are more bolts and clips to remove. It took me about 1-1.5 hrs for the install. I am sure I can reduce the time to 45-60 mins next time. 1) According to the instructions: Turn off car, put the key at least 10m away from the car and wait for 15 mins before unplugging the pressure sensors. This is to minimise the check engine light. 2) While you wait for 15 mins, you can remove the air box. In the instructions, it tells you to remove a bunch of things to install the Power Con (such as the windshield wipers and loosen the brake fluid tank). I didn't find this necessary. I only removed my Blitz Air Cleaner. 3) There are 3 connectors coming from the Power Con module. Black connector connects to the main pressure sensor (behind the engine). White connector connects to the sub pressure sensor (front of engine). Wrap both of these connections with electrical vinyl tape. The 3rd plug is a smaller black connector for the optional Blitz Thro Con product I believe. If using the Power Con only, then there is a plug which loops with this connector and then wrap with electrical vinyl tape. 4) I placed the Power Con module on top of the fuse box cover (right upper side of the engine bay). Take out the fuse box cover. For ease of removal in the future, I used 3M velcro tape to tape the Power Con module on to the fuse box cover. I also drilled 2 small holes on opposite side of the fuse cover to pass through a zip tie for additional security. The space is quite tight but you can gently lift up the plastic on top of the fuse box for a bit of extra space. 5) Find the main pressure sensor. It is located behind the engine. The pic below shows the sensor circled in aqua color. The vacuum hose circled in red is used to install a boost gauge. Use a phone, with selfie stick if you like, to find this sensor and remove the plug by pressing on the tab and then pulling it out. Surprisingly, this plug was removed with ease. Plug this into one of the plug from the Blitz harness, and then insert the plug from the harness to the sensor to complete the loop. Zip tie the harness to the adjacent hose. In the pic below, red arrow shows the sensor and the aqua arrow shows the zip tie on the harness. Below shows another view of the zip tie, the harness and the hose. I zip tie the harness in 3 additional places. 2 on to existing hoses and 1 on the hole which is used for the OEM air box. If you need to re-install the OEM air box, you need to find another place to zip tie the harness. Below pics: red arrow is the site of the main pressure sensor, aqua arrows shows the site of zip ties. 6) Identify the Sub pressure sensor. This is easily seen to the left of the battery. Space is tight here. I found it easiest to remove the plug with my right hand reaching the plug on top and my left hand from the bottom. Complete the loop and zip tie the harness to secure. I also zip tie this harness to the hole used for the OEM air box together with the main pressure harness. I then placed the 2 harnesses and placed it on top of the OEM air duct as shown below. Make sure nothing is loose, turn on the car and enjoy! My check engine light never went on. My blitz FLD boost gauge shows boost increased from 0.70-0.75 bar to 0.9-1.0 bar. See link below. Power is definitely noticeable and smooth. Without the Power Con, the power felt like it hit a brick wall early on, whereas after the Power Con, it feels like the brick wall has been pushed back and power has been freed from 2000 to redline. Even my wife noticed the difference! All in all, quite a good purchase and thanks for reading!

    Watch Part V

Unfortunately AP does nothing for me. That octagonal dial just doesn't excite me. ALS is very respectable, and if they were more Swiss and less German, they would surely be in the holy trinity. From the trinity as it stands, VC excites me the most as they have some beautiful blue dial watches. I'm a sucker for a deep blue dial with a circular face, but I find the Rolex blue subs too gaudy and gauche. I actually like the Milgauss Z blue, even though the movement is extremely basic and the anti-magnetism is just a cheap gimmick (compared to the much higher rating of the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra). But I just love the aesthetic of the Milgauss blue. Maybe I'll compromise and get a blue dial Aqua Terra. 😂
  25. For me, I suggest try to check out Aqua Kent RO Malaysia product. They offer varieties of water purifier products along with a reasonable price. Do visit their website for more details
