2018 is Mercedes-AMG's last season in Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM or German Touring Car Masters) and Audi has made a sweet video to bid farewell to its racing rival. Despite Audi winning the last race at Hockenheim, it didn't stop Mercedes-AMG from securing the driver's championship and manufacturers' championship, allowing the brand to who has been in the touring car series for more than 30 years, leave the sport on a high. Hi all, My car has this problem of the HID light turning off and on again by itself. The left one will turn off and turn on almost instantly, and then the right one will follow suit. What could the problem be? I have done the rewiring, changed to a 2nd hand ballast but the problem still persist. Need your kind advice. Thanks!

Looks like Premium has quietly brought the facelifted Audi A1 Sportback in. Anyone looked at it, or found out what its equipped with? Currently only one engine option listed; 1.0L TFSI. Could be really economical! Promotional pricing now only $117k, which is remarkable for an Audi. Pricelist is $137k.

The Audi A1 has just been revealed and rumours of when its hotter variant has surfaced. The hot hatch is set to make an appearance in late 2019. According to Autocar, the S1 is set get an uprated version of the VW Group's 2.0-litre turbocharged unit. It aims to become the most powerful hot hatch among its competitors, pushing around 250bhp from its TFSI four-cylinder engine. It will have all-wheel drive which in turn will give the S1 a much improved century sprint timing. The outgoing S1 did the sprint in 5.9 seconds. Combined with the latest MQB A0 platform, the car should also offer a better driving experience. It remains unclear whether the upcoming Audi S1 will get a manual transmission but judging from the 197bhp 2.0-litre A1 40 TFSI that is only available with a dual-clutch gearbox, chances are slim.

Audi America is going to stop selling manual cars. But before it does so, it will be launching a limited edition A4 Ultra Sport with a manual gearbox as a last hurrah. Limited to only 40 examples, the car will have a six-speed manual and will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine that produces 252bhp and 369Nm of torque. With the help of its all-wheel drive quattro system, the car will complete the century sprint in 5.7 seconds. Keen drivers will be happy to find the adaptive sport suspension and dynamic steering system included in the car as well. It will be available with the Quantum Gray paint and will come equipped with carbon fiber mirror caps, a carbon fiber rear spoiler and the Titanium black exterior styling package.

Have been searching around in the forum, don't seem to see any topics specifically to this model. How is the car for those who have driven it for some time? I have driven my 1.4l 2017 manufactured for about 6 months +. It is great, but noticed these 2 things:- 1. Brakes really squeak loud in the morning, but goes away quickly. Read that the brakes used by Audi tend to have this characteristic 2. Sometimes at around 1800-2000rpm for first 3 gears or so, there is this very soft tone sound, like a very very faint toned whistle. Can't describe it exactly, quite like a soft recorder sound (those you blow into). It is only audible if you don't turn on the radio as it is quite soft. It doesn't always have this sound, and if you rev harder it actually goes away and doesn't come back. I am not sure the source, but hopefully it is not a sign of a bigger problem.

Audi hints future RS models could be rear-wheel driven

Audi's high performance cars have always been known to be equipped with their famous Quattro all-wheel drive system, but this might change soon. AutoExpress has spoken to Audi Sport boss, Stephan Winkelmann at the recent 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed and found out that there is a chance we might see a two-wheel drive car from Audi Sport in the future. "When looking at the name, we decided Quattro could be misleading. Quattro is the four-wheel drive system, and is one of the things that made Audi great - but in our opinion, it was not the right name for the company", Winkelmann said, referring to the Quattro GmbH transforming into Audi Sport. "I can imagine we can also have cars with rear-wheel drive, or two-wheel drive, in the future." Unsuprisingly, he stop short of explaining more. Fans of all-wheel drive have no need to fear though as Winkelmann said, "Quattro can be a company, but it can also be an option. We wanted this to be clarified." -

"Driver's Test," the latest new video to join our weekly viral video chart, is a mini short film by Audi tied to the Marvel summer blockbuster Spider-Man: Homecoming. In the clip, Peter Parker, played by Tom Holland, takes his driver's test that's assessed by comedian J.B. Smoove. Parker notes that he's driving a prototype owned by his friend Tony Stark (Iron Man), played by Robert Downey Jr. During the driving test, Audi AI technology is demonstrated with an autopilot driving on the highway, Audi Pre Sense detecting unstable driving conditions and the car parallel parking automatically. Spider-Man: Homecoming, which is set to be released on July 7, also features the 2018 Audi A8, R8 V10 Spyder and TTS Roadster. The Audi clip has over 3 million views, according to the rankings compiled by Visible Measures.

Even during the sibei jialat financial crisis there was never this level of arrest made at any of the banks that screwed the economy over. Hi, There's something i don't understand and need help. 1 year ago (april 2017), i bought a second hand, 4 years old, Audi Q3 for 98k$ with a depre of 13+k/yr. i'm thinking of selling it now to reduce my monthly and overall car cost (around 1.65k/mth incl loan, petrol, road tax, insurance, cashcard...). i've inquired a couple of dealer and the best they offer is a whopping ... 71k (-27k from a year ago purchase)!! i understand they need to feed their family and all but more than twice the depre? Now, my questions are 1) should i sell and find a very affordable suv (my wife request) and kinda losing 13+k (27k - depre) in the process? 2) could i catch higher price by ... dereg or scrap or sell oversea? 3) sell directly? ... but i'm worried about paper work, 10 or more people trying, ... 4) other option beside keeping it? Audi's new RS5 coupe, debuted at the recent Geneva motor show. Previously powered by a 4.2-liter V8, the new coupe has Porsche power under the hood -- a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 making 450 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque -– 125 more lb-ft than the company squeezed from the V8. Power is sent to all four wheels through Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system that splits torque 40:60 F/R and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Zero-60 takes 3.9 seconds. Top speed is 155 mph, though it can be bumped up to 174 with a tick of the options sheet. The removal of the V8 along with a carbon-fiber roof cuts weight by 132 pounds, tipping the scales at 3,649 pounds. The five-link front and rear suspension gives the RS5 a lower stance -- 0.8 inch -- than the A5. The RS5 suspension comes with Dynamic Ride Control, ceramic brakes and dynamics steering with RS-specific tuning. The entire driving experience can be personalized through Audi’s drive-select system. Most noticeably, the design has been updated with a more aggressive and angular appearance. The RS5 rides on 19- or 20-inch forged alloy wheels while appearance packages add gloss-black, carbon or matte-aluminum accents. There is an RS-specific diffuser, unique oval tailpipes and a spoiler lip. The grille is wider and flatter than the base model and is flanked by LED headlights. The new RS5 is 2.9 inches longer than the previous model. The new Audi RS5 coupe will go on sale in Germany and other European countries in June for 80,900 euros ($85,489 at current exchange rates). There is no date when the new RS5 will come stateside, but it can’t come soon enough.

A prototype of the all new 2018 Audi A8 has been spotted with very little camouflage, giving us a good glimpse of how the MLB-evo platform luxury sedan looks like. Seen on Carscoops, the photo of the car was almost free of camouflage other than some black tape on the grill and lights. Judging from the photo, the car looks sharper and more distinctive than before. The A8's shell might have been made up of expensive materials like aluminum, magnesium and carbon fibre but according to Audi, the new body is around 50kg heavier than the current aluminum body. However, that also mean that the body is 24 percent more rigid than before. Audi explained to that the extra weight was due to the addition of even better crash structures and the need to comply with tough regulations. The Audi A8 is set to debut this July with a range of petrol and diesel power units. Hybrid variants will follow soon in the coming months.

Test drove an Audi A6 awhile back,have never driven an Audi before. Was quite surprised that the driver's footwear was surprisingly cramp, there was a buldge sticking out from the centre console and I had to rest my left foot in an awkward angle. Had me thinking that this might be an issue with Audi's LHD converted RHD cars. The E class I drove had no such issues though. Are all Audis like that?
