  1. Next car, my criteria will be small, low and nimble. Backside or not is not determining factor. Along the lines of ICE bmw 2, audi 3 sportback, porky 718. SUV is out for sure. waiting for COE liew lian to drop.😁
  2. It's a 23 minutes long interview but I'm sharing the video from 12 mins 33 seconds onwards. For everyone out there considering to purchase a BMW but kinda on the fence about getting it from PML or Eurokars, maybe this will be the deciding factor for you. Haha.
  3. I await your lei long i4. Lol... I have read a few i5 reviews, many said it is the best EV from BMW so far. All the EV sceptic thinks no resalw value, so I will give you a reasonably low ball offer but don't flame me hor. 😂😂😂
  4. Both BMWs suffered from the generic BMW fault of faulty signal stalk. Both swing out without signaling and both will pay the price.
  5. The only complain about volvo is their parts are very expensive. Much more expensive then bmw and merc.
  6. @Kklee waiting for delivery 😝 now busy buying accessories from TB. The BMW lookalike rear lights looks really awesome lol
  7. Driving a mercs or BMW or some luxury brand car for ministers should be ok la. Even common people can also afford to drive these cars. Unless you are saying those super sports car or super expensive exotic car, maybe a bit too flashy and scare people will talk.
  8. PM personal car is just a Honda MPV? Really low profile le. Even many commoners drive a mercs/BMW le.
  9. BMW belongs to the State...next Month, become Lawerence Wong's Ride..LHL Personal Car is a Honda MPV...seen during President Election Day.
  10. His son seems to drive BMW (5?7? series) as daily
  11. This is a preview of the upcoming 2nd generation iX3. Most note-worthy is the new grill, which is back to the original design found on the E21. The BMW Vision Neue Klasse X brings the aesthetics, technology, sustainability, and philosophy of the Neue Klasse to the Sports Activity Vehicles sector. The first fully-electric raised derivative on the new architecture will go into series production at Plant Debrecen (Hungary) in 2025. “Together with the BMW Vision Neue Klasse, the BMW Vision Neue Klasse X showcases the breadth of our future BMW model line-up. The Neue Klasse reflects the variety of all the models that customers want today and in the future – from sporty sedan, with all its derivatives, to modern SAV family,” says Oliver Zipse, Chairman of the Board of Management of BMW AG. “In this way, we are underlining that the Neue Klasse is much more than just a car or a specific concept; it is redefining the BMW brand – and, at the same time, will be more BMW than ever.” The company presented a clear picture of the brand's future as a sedan with the BMW Vision Neue Klasse at IAA 2023. The latest Vision Vehicle now illustrates how BMW sees the future of its X models. The BMW Vision Neue Klasse X stands for an active lifestyle, efficient dynamics and a confident stance. Its design combines a clear exterior design language with a bright and spacious interior. Special lighting and sound effects enabled by the next generation of BMW iDrive enhance the intuitive digital user experience. The three main characteristics of the Neue Klasse – electric, digital and circular – are expanded here to include a fourth dimension. The driving pleasure that forms the core of the BMW brand is taken to the next level with drive and chassis control developed specially for the Neue Klasse and with the sixth generation of BMW eDrive technology. Its sustainability concept also ensures responsible production, operations, disassembly and recycling. In combination with the two-box design of a BMW X model, the pared-down design language developed for the Neue Klasse also represents a major leap forward in both exterior and interior design. With its increased ground clearance, the fully-electric vehicle architecture offers new possibilities for an even more spacious interior. It allows for a long wheelbase, short overhangs and classic BMW proportions. Large window areas and the panoramic glass roof flood the interior with natural light, creating an airy spaciousness that is complemented by textiles in warm colours. “The BMW Vision Neue Klasse X provides a look ahead to the X models of the Neue Klasse. The same principles apply to our Sport Activity Vehicles: electric, digital and circular,” says Adrian van Hooydonk, head of BMW Group Design. “The X models will always remain strong in character: monolithic, clean and with a very distinctive vertical interpretation of the BMW light signature.” The new brand look for the BMW X models also contributes to the Vision Vehicle’s strong presence. Vertically aligned LED units offer a fresh interpretation of BMW’s hallmark light signature. Front and centre is the BMW kidney grille, reimagined as a three-dimensional sculpture with vertically aligned and backlit contours. Together, the headlights and kidney grille create a lighting effect that is activated as the driver approaches the vehicle and continues in the interior. The rear section is powerful and athletic. Rear lights that reach far into the centre provide a horizontal interpretation of the familiar BMW L shape. Its 3D-printed elements are individually controlled with variable light intensity to convey a particularly expressive depth effect. Flush glass surfaces and the bright “Coral Silver” exterior paintwork give the BMW Vision Neue Klasse X a certain lightness. In the rear portion of the side windows, the brand’s signature Hofmeister kink is realised not through chrome edging, but with a “reflective print” that forms a transparent or reflective surface, depending on the viewing angle. The slightly elevated seating position ensures a confident driving experience. The redesigned steering wheel with multifunction buttons, Central Display with intuitive touch control functionality and BMW Panoramic Vision, together with the advanced voice control of the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, serve as the effortless and intuitive interfaces for human-car interaction. BMW Panoramic Vision projects key information across the full width of the windscreen. It will be complemented in production models of the Neue Klasse by the enhanced BMW 3D Head-Up Display. In the BMW Vision Neue Klasse X, the Central Display is elegantly integrated into the instrument panel, providing both front passengers with optimal access to all infotainment functions. The colours shown are not only transferred to the ambient light, but also to the backlit textile surfaces of the instrument panel. The Personal Sound Experience, presented for the first time with the new HYPERSONX WHEEL, opens up further possibilities. With this digital function, car occupants can enjoy their favourite sound on any trip. The sound, generated in real time and adjusted with the tap of a finger on the HYPERSONX WHEEL, is an innovative contribution to the immersive and holistic user experience that transforms the interior of the BMW Vision Neue Klasse X into a personal experience space. In the Neue Klasse, overall vehicle efficiency reaches a new level. The latest, sixth generation of BMW eDrive technology is key to this. In addition to improved e-drive units, it also features new and now round lithium-ion battery cells, with a volumetric energy density more than 20 percent higher than that of the prismatic cells previously used. In combination with the transition to an 800-volt system, this will improve charging speed by up to 30 percent – allowing vehicles to charge enough for a 300-kilometre range in just ten minutes. The sixth generation of BMW eDrive also delivers up to 30 percent more range. When it comes to aerodynamics, the BMW Vision Neue Klasse X boasts an impressive new top figure: with drag reduced by 20 percent to a comparable model in the current line-up. New tyre designs and a special brake system for fully-electric vehicles help increase overall vehicle efficiency by up to 25 percent.
  12. Yes this is the way. Once my brother was crossing the zebra crossing, a BMW also whisked past him and he whacked the car with his umbrella. The driver confronted my brother and my brother told him to call the police. He drove off.
  13. Is it just me, but the front look like borrowed from an Opel SUV... BMW will kick off a new chapter of its electrification strategy in 2025 with the launch of a new platform for electric vehicles. The Neue Klasse (New Class) architecture will underpin at least six new zero-emissions SUVs and today, these spy photos provide an early look at one of those electric models in prototype form. Our spies in Germany sent us a batch of spy shots with what is currently known as the NA5 project, which is expected to arrive in the summer of 2025. The high-riding EV here is believed to be roughly the same size as today’s X3. However, smarter packaging combined with longer overhangs should result in a bigger storage area behind the rear seats, as well as a roomier cabin. In August last year, BMW confirmed the first product to be based on the Neue Klasse platform will be an electric sedan. It will be followed by this SUV here and some sources even claim it will arrive first. We won’t speculate on that topic but we’ll mention production of the electric family hauler is expected to begin in July 2025 in Hungary. “By the end of the decade, the Neue Klasse is expected to account for more than half of our sales,” BMW’s CEO Oliver Zipse said last year.
  14. Dawn of new era for Eurokars - from top end luxury Rolls Royce to premium German Sports marque Porsche to bread and butter Mazda. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/eurokars-group_elevatingluxuryexperiences-bmw-mini-activity-7185914809710731264-TK3L?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop
  15. Why Mercedes skipped GLB when they’ve GLA, GLC, GLE, GLS? GLA too small while GLC too unnecessary, GLB would be just nice for a specific market segment. Only if there is a B Class Grand Tourer, I would have bought it. I waited for it ever since BMW came out with their 2 series Grand Tourer. A futile wait. Merc is missing a market segment in the absence of these 2 models. Anyone interested if such models eixst ?
  16. I know the Car Expo is over but anyone here have a screenshot on the promo for BMW?
  17. Looks like bmw is the first to extend expo offer....till 17th Apr. 😄
  18. Based on the report, it looks like the car needs to carry 60L to achieve this range. Currently, combined cycle of BMW 330e is about 2.5L/100. BMW has 40L tank which is 1.6k km range. If BMW has 60L tank, it will be 2.4k km range.
  19. The bigger grill does help to enhance the look of this SAC - Sports Active Coupe (coined by BMW), which now look closer to the larger X4 esthetically. X2 M35i xDrive The 2024 X2 measures 4,554 mm in length, with a width of 1,844 mm and a height of 1, 590 mm. The X2’s wheelbase of 2,692 mm and track of 1,582 mm is identical to that of the X1. However, when it comes to mass, the SAC is a smidge porkier than its crossover SUV sibling, weighing in at 1,725 kg for the xDrive28i and 1,742 kg for the X2 M35i, which is 40.8 kg more than the X1 xDrive28i. In the US, this brand new model get a 2.0L sump, churning out 241hp / 400Nm / 6.2sec (xDrive28i) and 312hp / 400Nm / 5.2sec (M35i xDrive). When it hit our shore, I am sure the 122hp / 230Nm / 10.5sec sDrive16i will be one of the option, if not the only one available...

  23. EV accident is no joke 😱 KUALA LUMPUR - A man was killed while a friend was injured when the car was in a car believed to have crashed before catching fire on Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway (DUKE) near Setiawangsa Park on Thursday. Senior Fire Officer II Operations Commander Mohd Anuar Ali said the Kuala Lumpur Operational Operations Operations Operations Centre received a call in relation to the fire of a car at 2.13am. "A total of five members together with a machine from Setapak Fire and Rescue Station were rushed to the scene. "The fire involved a BMW 17-type car and was found to be 100 per cent burnt," he said in a statement on Thursday. He said the two victims were believed to be the driver and passenger of the car involved in the incident. "An adult male victim was pronounced dead by a Ministry of Health (MOH) officer at the scene. "However adult female victims with severe injuries were sent to hospitals for further treatment," he said. The cause of the fire has not yet been identified.
  24. This concept was shown early part of last month, and there is only 1 reason I did not post it till date: Its ugly nose job, which I hope it is an one off design effort, BUT... BMW Concept 4: Chris Bangle Come Back, All Is Forgiven BMW has previewed the design of the forthcoming M3 and M4 with the launch of the BMW Concept 4 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. It shows that the new 4-Series will be a radical departure from its predecessor and have a face dominated by a kidney grille so big it could swallow two children. If only Chris Bangle (who, at the time, got his fair share of flak) was still designing Bimmers… The German car manufacturer’s press release appropriately starts out by discussing that grille. According to BMW, “the vertically oriented grille fits seamlessly into both the proportions of the front end and BMW’s illustrious past” and it evokes classics such as the 328 and 3.0 CSi. “The kidney grille has always been a signature feature of BMW cars,” added head of BMW Design Domagoj Dukec. “The BMW Concept 4 presents a confident and classy take on this iconic feature. At the same time, the BMW Concept 4 offers a look ahead to the expressive face of the 4 Series range.” Looking past the vertical kidney grille are slim and aggressive laser headlights as well as huge air intakes to gulp down air. The Concept 4 also features particularly expressive sides and slim, two-section mirrors that are partly finished in polished aluminium, as well as 21-inch wheels with a five-spoke pattern. As controversial as the design of the front may be, we suspect people will be more accommodating for the rear fascia. The most noteworthy feature out back are the flowing LED taillights, an angular bumper with a gloss black diffuser and large, rectangular-shaped chrome tailpipes.
  25. Since Camry & Vezel, RON98 is wasted. BMW must put RON100. With sport+, the pull should be very violent.
