  1. They look huge, getting closer to Alphard and Vellfire. The twin will be unveiled in Japan in Jan 2022. Stay tuned.
  2. Any dealers with the 8 seater variant in Singapore? Want to go take a look….. Thinking of buying Noah as a family car. And by family car, a 3 seater middle row is essential…..
  3. Drones with AI. NATO should be watching closely, Ukrainian technology. 👍 Ukraine needs help now, but they are not a lame duck. https://www.dniprotoday.com/en/news/ukraines-zelensky-chooses-younger-troops-for-combat-against-russia-1372 A new Ukrainian tactic is proving effective, with Russia suffering significant damage Ukraine's new drone tactics with AI are proving effective. Strikes disrupt over 15% of Russia's refinery production, targeting facilities deep inside enemy territory. NATO has unofficially confirmed that Ukrainian drone strikes have disrupted up to 15% of Russia's refinery production capacity. This offensive, using drones capable of striking targets up to 1,000 kilometers deep inside enemy territory, has been in use for several weeks and has been made possible by the use of AI. "In terms of damage, the attacks have disrupted over 10% of Russian refinery production capacity, maybe even over 15%. Depending on the extent of the damage, repairs could take some time" Reuters reported, citing an anonymous NATO source. A few days ago, the Ukrainians reported that they had disrupted 12% of production capacity, while Reuters calculated that the figure was 14%. Russian Infrastructure Minister Nikolai Shulginov claims that the refineries will return to full production capacity by June. It is impossible to assess whether the Russians are telling the truth, but restoring the facilities to working order within two months would be a good result, given how the Ukrainians are choosing their targets. They are attacking refineries that use a lot of Western technology, to which Russia has limited access, which is making repairs more difficult" CNN's Noah Sylvia, an analyst at the Royal United Services Institute, told CNN. Ukrainians are developing their drones. They use AI To attack refineries far from the Russian border, the Ukrainians are using drones with longer range and more advanced capabilities. Some of them operate using artificial intelligence algorithms, which makes navigation easier and allows them to avoid jamming of their signal - CNN learned from a source close to the matter. "Each unit has a computer terminal and preloaded satellite and terrain data. Each flight is coordinated in advance with our allies, and the aircraft (drones - ed.) navigate according to the plan provided to them and allow us to hit targets with meter accuracy," the source says. "They have something called 'machine vision', which is a form of AI. You simply take the model we have on the processor and train it to recognize the geography and the target it's flying to. Once the drone is released, it can recognize where it is on its own. It doesn't need any satellite connection for this, it's fully autonomous," explains Noah Sylvia. Chris Lincoln-Jones, a former British military officer and expert in drone and artificial intelligence warfare, says this level of autonomy, while still low, has never been achieved before. He added that it is still a technology in its early stages of development.
  4. 23/3, Takayama, snowing … stay at ryokan lim sake … this morning shovel ice to clear path and lucky the Noah still power up swee swee …
  5. Plenty of PI Noah and Prius running around. The vezel has Xmas lights and check engine pretty often, not exactly sure why. Have PI toyota wish and Borneo ones are identical save for some specs difference. Why should the jdm version be so vastly different for the export model. Maybe those more highly tuned engines yes, but for bread and butter cars with run on regular Japanese fuel, they also run well here.
  6. Any news on the 2024 model for the Toyota Noah and Voxy?
  7. Maybe the big cc gs450h is more complex. But excellent reliability from the 1.8 hybrids. Talk to any Prius Noah PHV. Easily 500-600k km. Only persistent problem is the ABS pump and master cylinder which fails around 300k km
  8. Really feel for the Grab drivers who bought their Toyota Noah when COE was $150k. So many ads on Facebook promoting the 10-year high interest loan with zero down payment
  9. Even the Noah/Voxy (mid sized MPVs) are using the 1.8l hybrid engine. The 1.8l combo is ok lah
  10. The first thing I would do when I spot a hazardous driver is to get FAR AWAY from them. My reasons for doing so are: (1) I am a defensive driver (2) I love my car However, for this Toyota Noah driver, he does the exact opposite of what I would do: What Happened? An elderly Toyota Hiace driver woke up on a fine morning and decided to be a d!ck on the road by cutting off a Toyota Noah at a junction upon the traffic light turning green. (1 count of near collision) In response, the Noah driver tapped on his brakes repeatedly and even jam-braked at one point to avoid a collision with the van. At this point, the Noah driver was probably seeing red as he began driving aggressively, including overtaking the Hiace using a right-turn-only lane. Further down the road, both vehicles drove side by side (probably exchanging hand gestures and vulgarities) when the elderly Hiace driver decided to pull his stunt AGAIN - by cutting in front of the Noah driver once again. (2 counts of near collision) The obviously furious Toyota Noah driver retaliated by overtaking the Hiace from the left and cutting in front of it. (3 Counts of near collision) ANDDDDD....the Hiace performed exactly what the Noah driver did to him - by overtaking from the left and cutting in front of the Noah driver. (4 Counts of near collision) At last, both drivers' shenanigans ended when they stopped at a red light. However, the Toyota Noah driver alighted from his vehicle, walked brazenly towards the driver's side window of the Hiace, and gave it one good smack, jolting the elderly driver. The Noah driver made a rude hand gesture towards the elderly driver before returning to his MPV. Too old to drive? Or is he simply an elderly d-bag? Whatever it is, this elderly driver should have his driver's license revoked for two simple reasons: (1) Assuming his actions were unintentional...it suggests that he is unfit to drive due to his age (Eg. Poor eyesight, hand-eye coordination, or a lapse in judgement). (2) Assuming his actions were intentional...nuff said. Netizens' Comments The comment we needed👆 This is what happens when you are old, but stubborn af and insist on driving. IMO, he's lucky to walk away with only a smack on his window and a rude hand gesture. ========= Be the first to get the latest road/ COE news, and get first dibs on exclusive promos and giveaways in our Telegram SGCM Community. 11. The Star award goes to "Drum roll ...." NOAH Pa Wah Le
  12. For me if 7seats then toyota Noah or alphard. A pure MPV. Then you get the space you want. 7seat pseudo SUV is such a compromise. 7 seaters need sliding doors. but that’s me.
  13. yes, you are dead wrong Bimmers and Benz (double B) are super duper common in msia now of course myvii and toyota are still lumber 1 … and the expensive MPV are growing rapidly too … ie Alphard, Voxy, Noah, etc
  14. @badlammy, the current Suzuki Landy is a badge engineered Toyota Noah (R90). Interestingly, the previous 3 generations of Landy were based on the different generation of Nissan Serena.
  15. @Theoldjaffa i think it’s more of those rental fleets who are just “ blindly “ whacking those Noah, Voxy and alphard
  16. Mr Eric, Toyota Noah Hybrid He is back! Those who know him will know that he is a nice and active guy in the automotive industry. This time, he wanted to be different therefore he picked out a bolder choice of forged blue Carbon. Very unique indeed. Custom order was placed as we do not usually have forged blue Carbon fiber ready stocks. He is clear of our SOP and waited patiently for the parts to arrive. Installation done and it turned out amazing and as expected. He might be back for more! Toyota Noah Forged blue Carbon fiber interior trim set ✅Speedo ✅Left AC vent ✅Top glove box ✅Audio trim ✅Audio bezel ✅Right AC vent ✅Left defroster trim ✅Right deforester trim PM us for more info or WhatsApp us @ https://wa.me/6594293337 (KK) https://wa.me/6593293337 (Darren) https://wa.me/6591413337 (Michelle) https://wa.me/6581143337 We are located @ 10 Kaki Bukit Road 2 #03-11 First East Centre Singapore 417868
  17. This cut-and-fill approach will not work. Instead of looking at the root cause of the issue, they just bring forward the COE. Just use their eyes to take a look at the new SNM SNL SNN Toyota Voxy, Noah, Alphard and many others with the blue label on the road.
  18. Thinking o chging to either Toyota Voxy/Noah. Anybody know of any local forum for either any of these models???????????????
  19. Just happened outside my window. Prius purposely brake check Noah to cause an accident. I guess he buay song Noah stop in yellow box. This is my video, if Noah owner need it, PM me.
  20. Talking about PHV, leasing and Vellfire etc, i was kopi-ing at MBFC lobby yesterday, at least 50% of the privately hired cars arrived at the pick up point were vellfire, alphard, noah, voxy etc, this goes to show the popularity of CAT B and explains why cat B price has only 1 steep direction.
  21. Cam car rear-ended Toyota Noah that cut in front without signalling..mp4
  22. Indeed. In fact nowadays I see those PHV SNK and new plate.. especially Noah.. I jin angwee. Not with the drivers but with the car rental companies who bid indiscriminately high to put more cars on the road and collect rental. peepur who genuinely need affordable cars will be priced out and be left with no choice but to rent from them and drive part time grab just to cover costs.
  23. Govt must look into this. The PHV drivers are being encouraged to take full loan for 10 years. The Toyota Noah price is $220k and the interest over 10 years is $80k. The dealers selling these cars earn like siao just from the interest comm from the banks. The PHV drivers think it’s worth it because the monthly installment is lower than the rental. But they forget the car maintenance all they bao. When the car more than 5 years and all the problems start and need to replace hybrid battery, where they find the money to pay? if they suay suay kena long term illness, no money ti pay installment. Car kena repo and negative equity sale. really a death trap
