  1. How does the Tron app look like? The green icon?
  2. Yeah lor. Why not easy? I personally use TRON. They can ship the simcard to you in Singapore as well. They use digi's network and have relatively cheap data plans. Just log on and buy from them. Pros: Valid for 12 months from top up. Every time you top up, validity restarts. Cons: They don't have any connection when you are in Singapore. That means you have to login via their app or website to subscribe to their data plan (you can also do so once you are in JB). But if you forget to cancel before leaving JB, then no choice, gotta log on their app to cancel otherwise your $ will be deducted everyday.

    IT Show 2012

if you are talking about price.. no its cheaper than alienware or at least base on US retail price. im actually asking about the performance. their mouse okay lah.. if you like theme base mouse.. although i know its nothing special. i cannot resist the temptation of buying a tron legacy mouse and mouse pad..(i am hugh fan of original Tron.)
  4. Tried the new TT before. It sort of have dual personality to me. When I want to use it as a daily commute, it tries to to meet my needs. The rear seats are a joke though, I'd just have them down all the time to increase boot space to suit my work requirements next time. But when you need to drive fast, it doesn't disappoint. It feels faster, because of the turbocharger, than the current gen Boxster we had at home.. that one 2.7L NA also 5s+ century sprint. I like that styling.. TRON style, minimalist design, not overly loud.
  5. Bros...a friend of mine from another forum shared with me this Tron-like tyre lights. http://www.girlgoneshopping.com/product.php?id_product=41 Damn cool like the movie Tron man. Am thinking of getting the blue or red ones for fun. Any of you tried before? Let me know ok. Thanks!
  6. I note that a6, 1.8 is on 7 s-tron & has 320nm torque. I wonder which dsg blueprint its on n wat is the torque limit. Could it be based on dsg7 wet originally mic, dq380 with 380nm torque limit?
  7. This sim card.... not easy to find... http://www.tron.com.my/
  8. I have a 7" Tab [starhub, no data roam] and 7" Fonepad [MY Tron data]. As backup, both downloaded with google "offline area" that cover the places we intend to go. "offline area" does not allow search of places of interests, unless they are "SAVED" before downloading "offline area". Therefore, advance trip planning include saving points of interest, timings, rest stops, petrol stops, etc....
  9. Ya man... Very good SGI and regret not watching it in 3D... Tron 2 maybe possible since Tron technically not dead?
  10. This is not the e-tron version. Just the 2.0T engine, so no interior space is sacrificed.
  11. Dun be alarmed.. mobile coverage on Tioman is weak. When i went there last month at Paya village, my M1/Celcom is very weak & my other Msia Tron line no reception at all. Or maybe your contact just wanna have a rollin good time & switch off their phone.
  12. Nice mod. How much did it cost? Internal like tron movie hehe
  13. For SUV handling, my 2 cents. One of my family member bought and drove a VW Tiguan 2.0TSI Sports for 6 month (upgraded soon after). I drove it quite a bit. Now my daily work horse is the latest Nissan Qashqai. Last time, I drove the Tiguan out, chuck it into the corner.. alamak going to flip already. Now the Qashqai's handling is better, more confidence inspiring. It handles like a hot hatch lol Regarding Audi, I am only familiar with TT and the recent A3 (almost bought one). The TT handles v well, power is good but practically is nil. I need to amputate my passengers' legs if they want to fit in the rear seats. The new one looks like from the TRON movie but at 270k or so, have better options.
  14. my Citroen is always pronounced as see-tron when i think the actual pronunciation should be see seat-trow-en. which i cant even pronounce properly
  15. It's virtual mobile operator = buy airtime wholesale from operator with physical infrastructure and resell to end consumers. There are quite a few in MY like tron and tune.... I am still using my Virgin SIM and the network display now is on "roaming mode" SingTel l Virgin Mobile instead of just Virgin Mobile previously.
  16. Overall design has a Ducati vibe, but it sounds pretty cool! What's next Ducati Monster e-tron?
  17. everything Tron says about Alfa is very true. i would disagree slightly on the Audi & VW pricing. This is what u call branding issues and especially in SG, its inevitable. I got relative who just bought a rare VW passat 2.0T FSI, except no DSG. its not a car which the agent brings in for the masses, but since it was sitting there, and he was willing to pay it, it was a done deal. The price if i remember correctly was about 130k. As Tron stated, even the cheapest A4 with old engine is 145k. I guess we could say that about the cheapest merc, bmw with quite redundant 2L or 1.8 kompressors. But thats life in brand conscious SG. You pay a whole lot for the brand. Audi's image is one step above VW, so the reality is no one will ever wana buy the passat 2.0T over an A4 1.8T. But cars do portray an image. guess you need to decide what image u wana be associated with & the drive. in the end, the man in the street does not give a damn about the fine details of 1.8 or 2.0, turbo or no turbo. just get the car u feel best with, exterior and most importantly, when u drive it. for all u know, 1.8T or FSI, u may not really bother much about the difference anyway. For me, if its an audi or an Alfa, i do give a damn about that.
  18. Plug-in hybrids are gaining in popularity, with Ford, Toyota and Honda all offering vehicles fitted with the unique powertrains. But while cars like the Fusion Energi, Prius Plug-In and Accord Plug-In boast excellent economy numbers as they match the best assets of electric vehicles with traditional hybrids, they lack the zest and fun that some drivers crave. According to rumors from the UK, though, a fun plug-in could be on the horizon. Hoping to capitalize on the performance reputation of the GTI, Volkswagen is reportedly developing a car called the Golf GTE. Power would come from the same powertrain slated for the Audi A3 E-Tron, a 1.4-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder with 148 horsepower. Mated to that is a 107-horsepower electric motor, which draws power from an 8.8-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery pack. A 6-speed, dual-clutch transmission would shift 204 total system horsepower to the front wheels, which will allow the GTE to hit 62 miles per hour in 7.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 135 mph. Outside of the unique powertrain, we'd expect the GTE to follow the same formula used for the diesel-powered Golf GTD - that means GTI-sourced bits for the suspension and brakes, as well as sportier interior and exterior treatments. It is unclear if this model will make it to Singapore market, but even if it does, we can only expect this model somewhere in late 2015.
  19. Completely unnecessary remake/sequel just like with Total Recall, Tron, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and of course the new Star Wars. Yet another fond childhood memory desecrated for profit.
  20. Almost comes across as a Tron intro too lol ;)
  21. 4rings

    Audi A1 E-Tron

its awesome that this car uses a rotary engine. The e-tron best lives up to the company's 'Vorsprung Durch Technik' mission statement.
  22. Yeah, I really like the rear lights of the face lifted k5, the tron looking lights, but the front looks a little weird. Blackberry logo fog lights.

    Data 3g prepaid

Many types of plan available today,u shud choose one that suits ur needs n budget. Besides Umobile,u can consider other Telco services, such as XOX, Tunatalk, Salamfone, n even Tron. Dfren telco service comes wv dfren Telco plan n dfren promotion. You reli hav to take time to survey to pick one that most suitable for u.. What kind of service u nid for ur mobile? Do u nid mobile internet service? How frequent usage u wan to use for mobile internet service? And hw abt ur mobile (sms/call) usage..
  24. DiGi 3G service on Genting is pretty slow (Getting only H, occasional H+ and rarely 3G on my andriod while there), if you going Genting, Tron/Genting Rewards Mobile is a better choice (H+/3G while there)
