Northeast district police head Anuar Omar confirmed the deaths of Chew Eng Lean, 78, Amanullah Shabib Kalandir, 75, and Lau Guek Jee, 64 on Sunday afternoon. Another victim, 97-year-old Chong Sin Thon, was found in his home. "The sixth victim identified as Tan Ah Peow, 45, was found by his neighbor at 2pm today while the seventh victim, also a man, was found by a member of the public at 2.40pm," Anuar said. A Bangladeshi man was also killed while his friend was missing after a tree fell on their rented house in Kampung Perlis in Butterworth on Saturday night. Meteorological Department has forecast that the rain is set to continue after it showed signs of easing on Sunday (Nov 5) afternoon. In an update on Facebook, the department issued an "orange" alert warning, which indicates expected continuous rainfall with strong winds in the northern states of Kedah, Perlis and Penang. 11. It is kinda disheartening to see the COE thread becoming 'battlefield" for some insensible individuals recently. There is never right or wrong with taking loan or paying full cash for car purchase, let alone the preference for new or used car, as every buyer has their own considerations and priorities. MCF is a free for all public forum, and no one is entitled to enforce his/her belief on others, just because it work well for them (for real or not is a separate matter as only god know). Do bear this in mind, One man's meat is another man's poison. Just like medications, what works for you might not work on others. Last, I am calling out to all participants in this thread. You CAN help to put a STOP to all these uncalled-for comments and name-calling (aka season greetings targeting at your parents), simply by ignoring them. I do hope this is the last time I have to write such lengthy "introduction message" every fortnightly... 23. 2 things I can be very sure about for this bidding exercise: - Premium for cat C will shoot up further in view of the sharp drop in quota come Aug, which most dealers deemed as unexpected - Revenue for the bidding exercise shall continue to stay above $210 mil, with the help of high "income" fro cat C And good luck to those waiting for their COE (and new ride).
