Bought an aircon filter Denso 88568-52010. No arrow/instruction on the air flow. Do i install the aircon as in the direction shown in the picture below ? Mine is an Altis 2007. Thanks.

My house got the System 3 a/c from F*jits* from C*urts.and only been in use for 1yr plus.recently,the a/c could not cool my room even though switched on for hours.you can only feel the cold air IF you are sitting directly below it.if you move away from the cool 'spot', the rest of the room is actually normal room temperature. this is even after hours of switching it on. and this happens for all the other units in the house. called 2 different a/c maintenance companies,1 only cleaned the a/c and vaccum the piping.same result. another company,cleaned everything,and topped up the gas.cool for a few days,but now back to normal. called C*urts so many times and yet they only send external vendors instead of technicians from F*jits*. and still its the same. Does any bros here know what's the exact problem or could recommend me any reliable a/c maintenance contractors who could help me to rectify this at an affordable price? Do note my a/c compressor is still under warranty. on a side note,can i call up F*jits* directly to ask them to come down and rectify?getting fedup of paying those maintenance contractors while the problem goes unresolved.

I discovered my car's carpets have been soaked by the aircon water. Maybe the pipe blocked. Anyone got this experience? know what is the issue?

Hi Masters, I got a questions on aircon filter airflow direction. We place the aircon filter behind the glove compartment, which direction is the air going? Is it being suck out of the car thru the filter or is it being push into the car thru the filter? Thanks for looking.

Anyone did aircon flushing before? been to a reputable workshop and was recommend to do aircon flushing to my recently bought 2.5 year old 2nd hand axio. it was claim that the gas was low in the air con and will spoil the compressor (potential 600 SGD damage) if the gas runs out cost quite a bit for the flushing and now comtemplating if this was a wise choice. also they change out my 2 front tyres, experience car owners told me that i should swap the front for the back tyres instead of changing a new set of front tyres. not sure if i was recommended the best choice.. please advise if this is true

Hi all, I would like to check with any bros who has the same problem before. I am driving an ody RB1, recently when I switched on my car aircon, i can hear something like water flowing from my co driver side. It is like those water fountain sound but no water leaking. Please advise what could be the problem? air con compressor breaking down soon? Thanks in advance for the advice.

recently got some prob with my aircon, after travel for sometime then the aircon turn cool...will blow hot air for 15-20mins, after that sometime may blow hot then cold...anyone with the same problem? Any Advise or know what happen to my aircon?

bros, my aging Sunny's aircon is very noisy now. Mostly likely need to replace the entire compressor. Any experts know if there are cheaper alternatives like OEM compressor, etc? Any recommendation for aircon shops beside Tomika, Markcool, L&Kim? Was quoted 600+ for brand new compressor but since my ride has only 1year plus to go. I will like to look for cheaper alternatives if possible. Thank you.

My aircon has been doing the darth vader ever since i replaced the aircon clutch and topped up the gas and aircon oil. it was quiet before the change but now there is a very audible hissing sound every 1 minute.... does this mean there is not enough gas? is it causing much strain on my compressor? should i go get it topped up immediately?

Aircon at home fail so went down to Courts,the salesman there tell me that if my existing piping is conceal behine warobe or floor ceilling,they will not be able to change.The price of the system 4 aircon will still be the same even without piping changed. Will the performance of the new aircon be affected if piping are not change? What are the recomended brands for aircon. Mitsubishi,Carrier,Toshiba?

Here are the instructions on how to remove the glove compartment to access the aircon filter. This is for Nissan Sunny 2004 and Up (Face Lift/Horizontal Grills). It's a very easy task once you know how to. I took some pix to make the instructions clearer. The basic instructions to remove & installed the aircon filter & glove compartment can be found courtesy of Cairefresh (http://www.cairefresh.com/pop-howto-nissan.htm) but actual dismantling of the glove compartment is slightly different for the FL model. 1. Open your glove compartment and clear your stuff. 2. Here's where the instruction differs from Cairefresh. After opening you glove compartment, look on the left side of the glove compartment and locate the hinge shown as 1. Push it and at the same time pull the glove compartment towards you (No. 2). Once it comes off, just pull it out of the identical hinge on the right. [inline "Remove Step 1.jpg"] 3. Follow Cairefresh's instruction 4. Follow Cairefresh's instruction (lift the cover where it says push. slowly remove the whole cover from the top. Remove the filter by gently pulling it out) [inline filter.jpg] 5. After washing the filter (recommended every 10,000km, washing instruction sticker in glove compartment), place the filter back to the slot. Your filter should be placed as shown above with Nissan word upright, though I dunno if it matters. I have numerous dried leaves and 'garbage' after 10 months 6. Follow Cairefresh's instruction 7. Putting back the Glove compartment. Locate the right hinge as shown. You should align it with the 'male' hinge on the bottom right of the glove compartment. Once that is done, snap back the joint on the left side. Once it it properly fixed, the simple job is done. [inline Installing_Cover.jpg]

below happen in Sat and Sunday, other than this the aircon is working ok .. can anyone adv what cauese this? compressor going to up the lorry? 01. On Sat, after dropping the kid and wife, go park car and the aircon subbenly no cold air, after i park the car, i on and off the aircon notice the comperssor didnt on .. but after a few on and off, the comperssor kick in and there is cold air. 02. Sun drove from west to east side to pick up friend for dinner, waited for about 10~15mins with the engine on as my kid are in the car. After pick up my friend suddenly there is no cold air .. so i on and off the aircon a few times while driving, and finally the aircon come back. 03. After maka, drop my friend off and was outside the car about 10 mins before we drove back, and the aircon suddenly no cold air .. so do the same trick again and the aircon come back again after few try on and off of air con. by the way i driving 3 yrs old Latio and clock 107,000km.

Well, I have a Toshiba system 3 and since yesterday, the masterbedroom unit blow only air, not cold at all... the rest of room still normal, blow cold air... so I don't think the problem lies with the compressor... anyone have such problem before? What could be the possible fault? Spoil sensor on the split unit?..... damn hot without air-conditioning...

Anyone know whats wrong? My car's aircon is now blowing hot air. Had an inkling that this happened when I went over a pot hole or I fiddled with the thermostat. Car is a Civic 1.8. Also, can recommend a good aircon workshop? Thanks in advance!

My car has been emitting constant 'chiak chiak' sound from the engine bay since about 3 weeks ago, especially in morning cold start. Previously was very quiet that was why I chose this car. Very irritating and it got louder when aircon is turned on, and when I accelerate the car. You can hear a distinctive booming sound coming from the aircon filter area under dashboard. Last few days cannot tahan so sent it for checking. The SE subsequently informed the aircon compressor assembly was replaced. The best part was that it was FOC since it is still under 3 years! I was very happy as the warranty would have expired in 3 months time and I would have to cough up the $1k bill. I am now able to enjoy peace and quiet in my car once again. This incident reinforced my positive vibes about Kia, will definitely consider the brand again when it comes to changing car later on. The car is not perfect and the few times when there are with minor issues, the SEs in different centers have been accommodating though not every time obliged of course. Definitely not much different or losing to the Nissan service quality. BTW, my car is latest Kia Carens (non-Elite version). -
Was enjoying the 'cool' outdoor air this morning during my jog/walk (about 26degC!!)........... but now sticky and warm despite my fans working hard coz aircon leaks and have to be switched off.. Question: should the aircon maintenance guy fix it FOC for me tomorrow coz I have been paying him for regular maintenance without fail. If he maintains it properly, why should it leak / choked? My aircon is not too old, about 2yrs only hor.....
