Hi, I intend to take up the HSBC loan which gives $1500 cash rebate. The minimum loan period is 1 year and amount is $20000. I worked out the sum and found it unbelievable. The total interest that i need to pay at the end is $440 which means i will have a savings of $1060 !!! It is better than paying all in full. It is quite unbelivable. Does anyone know if there is any hidden conditions? Thanks !

All sifu out there. Do anyone know what is the correct Splitfire Triple Platinum spark plug gap width for Altis 1.6. Thanking in advance..... FYI I didnt buy from the distributor (Autodesign), asked a friend to buy from USA. Cheaper but dont know the original gap width is correct or not. -
Hi, I am currently deciding on the car model i.e. Sunny or Altis. Would wish to know if the default sound system that comes with the new car good? I actually enjoy listening to good music in the car... thought of getting a value for money performing ICE. Should I ask the SE to change to a better one with $$$ top up or should I change for a better one outside i.e. trade in? How much extra must I fork out? Any recommendations? Thanks !

i observe that 2 out of 3 altis @ my residence carpark suffer fr very bad fogged headlight. d entire headlight cluster is so fogged until it became like snowing inside d cluster (can't c d bulbs at all). so, if u drive altis, n if u r facing tis problem, u shld goto bm 2 replace them if yr altis is still under warranty. btw, i dun drive altis.

Greetings to all fellow Altis owners, Just checking with you guys again. My car got 2 annoyance which I am very unhappy with. Service engineers claim that it's normal so I just want to check if it really is common in all Altises. 1. Foul Aircon Smell - This I understand is "normal"... but anyway to get rid of it permanently? 2. Loud ticking sound from undercarriage after driving - Exiting my park vehicle after driving I can hear like metalic sound ticking from the undercarriage. Something to do with the thermal contraction from the metal parts under the car as the Service Engineer claimed. Do your cars have similar issues too?

Hi hi everyone... I just got my Altis in mid October. Still running in the engines. Yawn~ Leisurely drive so far. My Altis is a Black Mica, (as grey, silver and white are out for me =D ) I've been eyeing on a couple of mods for the Altis (not those mods that's gonna cost me a bomb). Looking at z-stab and white-light head-lamps. Anyone else doing anything else to their cars?

Got the 2 months back and so far except that I need to slam the boot damn hard to closed it, not much complains. Any altis owner here have any problem??

Read from the latest Wheels mag. Seems like the 1.8L Optra edge out the Altis 1.8 in the "Thailand Car of the year 1.8" The author mention that the Optra weak link is the brakes (as usual), and the Yokohama tyres...

1 month plus Altis. All Stock parts. Just 1000km serviced. Using Shell 98. Last calculation during fill up when 'Petrol tank' indicator light up. Only about 9+ km/litre Now, meter about half tank already, mileage only at 256km. Last pump was shell 98 at 8% discount. Dun tell me FC also discounted 8%, hahahaha

Guys, my bro is looking for a new ride, and whats delaying him was, he dunno which car to go for. Just narrowed down, he's actually looking at Altis, Vios, and Jazz. He's much more concerned on the FC, and space ( He's a Sales Exec). Hope this canhelp him. Or anyone has other car in mind for him? Budget is arond $70k+, in order to hit his comfortable instalments. Hi All, Would like to check with you ppl if using the OZ Superleggera 15"x7" (Offset 37) will caused problem in time to come?? I intend to use 195/60/15" tyres with the above rim Most other rim makes I saw come in 15"x6.5" (Offset 40-43). Thanks!

got quite a few friends around me eyeing the altis.. going for slightly above 71k now... anyway besides e paper specs... how do i differentiate an altis from a older G9??? anyone care to tell?? not really a toyota fan here.... rgds ethan
