Hi all Anyone had a property in Penang. I talking about Singaporean with a penang property. I had intention to buy one for weekend get away and eventually for retirement purposes. I'm looking at Penang only so please don't recommend me JB property.........I would like to go for condo only.. 1) Any good suggestion on area? With sea and mountain... 2) What is the procedure to buy one? 3) What is the Malaysia bank loan procedure since I don't work there and not a Malaysian? 4) Any other concern that I need to be aware of? as per title. doesnt matter if single or double din as long as working (can read and play dvd) anyone scraping or selling their cars with dvd? I have the roof mount monitor but the dvd player cannot read anymore. if anyone has, can sell me? I will bear the swapping charges. cheap2 one those below $100 preferably as I only left about 7 mths to scrap. thanks

hi, my friend has a 520i bought 2 years already. since day 1, the car will vibrate when stop at traffic light in Drive mode. this is of course with the engine still running, idling at traffic lights. can feel the whole car vibrate from the feet and whole seat. every passenger can feel it. It happens the whole day even after warming up. the worst part is that his mechanic at PML says it is normal for this model. they even let my friend test sit the demo car to prove that their demo car has the same vibration. i help my friend search on BMW forums but no one complain of this permanent vibration. only some people complain of intermittent vibrations which goes away after warm up. anyone who drives 520i or has friends who has driven 520i, please comment whether yours got vibrate at idle?

I know most of the air con installer are using armaflex insulation. Apparently, Best Tech from IMM offer this pretty insulator which is call Yamato from Japan. The cover diameter seem like plastic wrapping that prevent water leaking from the insulator. Just want to hear some geniune feedback if anyone is using this Yamato and how good is it.

Hi! I took over a Fiat Grande Punto recently and found out that the previous owner had changed the shocks to Koni Sport 8741. Not sure about the springs though.. I find that the ride is a little too stiff and wanted to make it softer. Understand that I'd need a white coloured knob to turn the top axle to tune it. It wasn't included with the car when I purchase it from the dealer though.. It cost $50 from ebay. Hence, trying my luck here to see if any brother/sister out there has one to lend it to me for a day or two?

would like to know which country i can attempt to export cars to in order to get a better sale price. i can't seem to find exporters in singapore, and the dealers and lowballing. anyone knows which are the general market we can direct export our cars to in order to sell? i know to export cars to UK must pay at least 30+% of duty and tax. export to malaysia must pay $50k RM for the licence. i know australia stop allowing import already. -
Just checked my hdb loan statement. Loan amount=103 5000 Loan tenure=25 yrs montly payment=478 IP payment=90 Is the montly payment inclusive of hdb interest? Total payment after 25 yrs is 144000 estimated. Why am i still being charged IP of 90 over dollars a month which was initially 100 over dollars a month? My loan is 103 000 but will pay total ~144000 dollars and still need to pay IP monthly. Is this interest upon interest? I am really dumbfounded. Any gurus can explain!

I'm currently looking for a replacement for our family car. Considering the Ford Focus, which seems quite well equipped and reasonably priced but don't see many on the roads. Wondering if anyone on MCF is driving one and what it's like to drive on a long term basis (I intend to keep the next car for at least 5-7 years)? Thanks.
