  1. Audi claimed that this concept is 95% representative of the final model, and the production model is expected to be unveiled in the 2nd half of 2022. Anyone noticed something familiar? Audi is resolutely pushing ahead with its "e-volution" towards electric mobility and have just unveiled the forerunner of an innovative family of fully electric, production cars - the four-door Audi A6 e-tron concept - at the Auto Shanghai 2021 show. A completely new technology architecture, the "Premium Platform Electric," or PPE for short, will serve as the technology platform for these vehicles in the future. For its part, the PPE technology will ensure that what the car's lines imply is actually translated into dynamic driving performance and everyday suitability befitting use as a primary vehicle. Specifically, this means that depending on the selected drive system and model version, an Audi A6 e-tron is expected to boast a range of more than 700 kilometers (based on the WLTP standard) in the future - and the most powerful members of the family will sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in less than four seconds. The combination of safety features and aesthetic design has always been of particular importance to Audi. That's why the small, high-resolution projectors also display warning symbols on the ground - to warn a bike rider that the car door is about to open, for example. Another four high-resolution LED projectors - inconspicuously integrated into the corners of the vehicle - generate turn signal projections. The design of these projections can be modified to address different markets and approval regions as required. The Digital Matrix LED front headlights achieve almost cinematic quality. If, for example, the Audi A6 e-tron concept is parked in front of a wall during a break to recharge the battery, the driver and passengers can pass the time playing a video game projected onto it. Instead of on a small screen in the cockpit, they'll see their respective game's virtual landscapes projected onto the wall in XXL format - and all this via the Digital Matrix LED headlights. Players can stand next to or directly in front of the vehicle for a particularly good view of the game, which is several meters wide. OK, back to my question at the start of the post...

    Audi Q2

The Q2 1.4 TSFI now selling at $118K, thinking of getting it. Any feedback for those driving Q2?
  3. Welcome back, and we have another review with sgCarMart! And today, we have the 2020 Audi Q7! Being the largest and most practical vehicle in the Audi lineup, the Q7 has been refreshed, and it now comes with more aggressive lines seen in its stablemates, but still retains that utility and practicality that it was brought to the table. After all, a seven-seat vehicle is always useful. So, let's see what Julian has to say about the Q7. From the get-go, it looks handsome. Audi's design language has been pretty good these past years, nothing too controversial. And not to mention, their gorgeous daytime running lights and sequential signals are always a welcome touch. I mean, just look at it. Audi really has it down pat with the design of the grille and those daytime running lights. And if you can take anyone's word for it, it is Julian's. "Jumping into this car, it instantly made me feel comfortable". That's pretty high praise, I would say. That grille is indeed pretty bold, and as per Julian said, he's not sure if the grille will suit the Q3 or Q5, but it fits the Q7. And to get more context on how big the Q7 really is.... The rear of the Q7 looks just as good, sleek, modern and clean. No need to fuss around when lowering the third row of seats. Audi has already thought of that and given you buttons to electronically lower the seats. Audi knows the Q7 is a tall vehicle and loading it can be difficult for shorter people, so there is also a button to lower the rear of the car so as to make loading stuff in easier. About 750 litres of boot space with the third row folded. If that isn't enough for you, knocking down the second row will give you over 2000 litres of cargo space. And if that still isn't enough, get a van. And if you're wondering, yes, the boot opens and closes electronically as well. With the seat set to Jon's height (Jon is about 1.8m tall), Julian has a ton of leg room, even headroom. A blessing in Singapore's weather, the Q7 comes with rear aircon vents not only in the middle, but also on the B-pillars so as to blow air directly at rear passengers. And surprisingly, the third row actually doesn't look too bad. As long as you aren't too big or tall, you should be able to fit nicely back here. Clean, sleek and modern with screens for your infotainment, climate control and instrument cluster. The Virtual Cockpit, as Audi terms it. And always appreciated in a big car, 360 degree parking cameras and sensors. Still curious? Find out more on what Julian has to say about the Q7 in the video review below!
  4. With a potent five-cylinder engine and quattro AWD underpinnings, the all-new 2020 Audi RS Q3 provides a real point of difference to the hi-po four-cylinder brigade. It’s a big step forward from the old RS Q3, too, which always seemed to be an afterthought rather than a pre-planning exercise. Audi RS Q3 Sportback Tweaked By ABT With More Power, Custom Wheels The inline-five engine gets a 10-percent power hike. It’s safe to say ABT is quite happy with Audi Sport’s decision to expand its portfolio as that means more business for the tuner. One of the recent entries into the ever-growing lineup is the RS Q3 Sportback, a compact crossover suffering from a multiple personality disorder by trying to pass off as a coupe. While the vehicle’s shape is questionable, you probably won’t find anyone complaining about what’s under the hood. The inline-five engine is a dying breed and quite the rarity in the car industry nowadays, so we’re happy Audi is still installing the 2.5 TFSI in the RS3, TT RS, and the RS Q3. The tuners at ABT have been working on this engine for a while, so it comes as no surprise they’re now announcing an upgrade program tailored to the latest RS Sportback. Courtesy of the ABT Engine Control Unit, the turbocharged mill produced at the Győr plant in Hungary has been taken from 400 horsepower and 354 pound-feet (480 Newton-meters) to 440 hp and 384 lb-ft (520 Nm). The newly gained muscle is reflected in the hot crossover’s performances as the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) now takes just 4.3 seconds (-0.2s). The top speed has been modified as well, increasing from 155 mph (250 km/h) to 177 mph (285 km/h). ABT also made some changes on the outside by replacing the OEM wheels with its own 20-inch set. The wide spacing of the spokes has allowed the tuner to shave off some weight while boosting the visual appeal as the brake calipers are now more visible than before. At an additional cost, a bigger 21-inch set can be ordered.
  5. Saw the weekend ad for the Jag XF going at $189k. Juz curious, which would tickle your fancy more - the 3.0L XF or the 2.0T A5?
  6. Looking for a German performance sedan? The Audi RS5 offers plenty of performance with 444bhp and 600Nm of torque. And boy is Idris excited to get behind the wheel in this video review! Wouldn't we all? And as you would expect from a Sportback from Audi, it is quite the looker as well. But this RS5 comes with plenty of practical features as well. Despite offering so much performance, there's space for our usual luggage test in the boot! And being a four-door, you'd expect sufficient space for your passengers as well, and the RS5 delivers. Unfortunately it looks like that touchscreen is a bit of a stretch away when you're seated at the front... And how does it drive? Very impressively it seems! Watch the full video to see and hear more of the Audi RS5 on the road! You'll want to!
  7. Hi, How many of you all have the Audi UTR installed in your car? I personally think it does a fairly ok job, though I won't get it separately if it is not already included in the car price. It is sometimes buggy and not very seamless to use. One of the gripes is that you can't just retrieve the saved recorded videos from your phone (I am using iPhone 7), to say sharing it on whatsapp or saving it in the phone's gallery etc.. To get the videos in file form, will have to take out the memory card to open it on a computer. Unless I am missing out on how to do it. Any reviews?
  8. The Audi A4 has received a major update! So much so in fact, that our reviewers seem to be a bit confused as to if it actually is an all new model! Why is that so? Join us as we look through the significant changes all throughout the exterior of the new Audi A4! Oh, and bid a warm welcome to Jeremy from Torque magazine, now also joining us for these video reviews! And what about the cabin? I think Julian sums up the interior of the Audi A4 quite well with this one statement. The rotary knob is now gone and there's also a new infotainment system. See what we think about it in the video review! But here's the important part: Just how does the new mild-hybrid tech work? I'll just leave you with this little teaser courtesy of Jeremy... You'll just have to watch the full video review of the Audi A4 to find out!
  9. What we have here, is Audi's first electric car, the e-tron! It may be one futuristic sounding name, but the car's exterior isin't necessarily that wild... oh no... But the great thing is, that conservative, SUV shape gives you plenty of room for all your luggage. With 660-litres, the Audi e-tron easily passes the auntie trolley test! But wait, there's more! As you'd expect from an Audi, the cabin of the e-tron is well-designed and functional, but there is one small little feature that can become quite irksome. Can you guess what it is? Join us in the video review below to see just how fast 560Nm of electric torque makes the Audi e-tron go! Here's a quick teaser for you...
  10. Here's A First Look At The 2019 Audi TT RS Facelifthttps://carbuzz.com/news/here-s-a-first-look-at-the-2019-audi-tt-rs-facelift The copious amounts of camouflage could be deceiving. The current-generation Audi TT has been on sale in America since 2015, so it's due for a refresh to keep it relevant. To keep it fresh for a few more years, Audi is giving its popular sports car a facelift. Prototypes of the base model have been out testing for a while, but our spies recently spotted the updated hardcore Audi TT RS undergoing some hot weather testing in Europe. Copious amounts of camouflage cover the front, but we’re expecting the styling changes to be relative minor compared to the current TT RS. The grille appears to be slightly wider with new vertical vents alongside it, and the front bumper has been redesigned. The headlights also appear to be slimmer, but that could just be the camouflage deceiving us. Elsewhere, the side skirts look more pronounced than the current model. At the back, the amount of camouflage suggests there will be big changes but they will probably be just as subtle. We can see some minor tweaks to the rear spoiler, and the rear taillights also sport new graphics that make the TT RS look more modern. There could also be some small changes to the rear bumper. Chances are the interior will be updated, too. The current Audi TT's interior is already loaded with tech, but that probably won’t stop Audi updating the infotainment system. It isn’t known if the 2019 Audi TT RS facelift will receive a power boost, however. The current model is powered by a turbocharged 2.5-liter five-cylinder unit that produces 395 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque, but we wouldn’t be surprised if the facelifted model retains this setup. In the current model, 0-62 mph takes just 3.6 seconds, with power being sent to all four wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Audi is expected to reveal the TT facelift later this year, so we could see the 2019 TT RS debut at the Paris Auto Show in October before it goes on sale early next year.
  11. Now this will probably open up a can of worms or two. Who do you reckon is in the wrong? The cyclist or the driver of the Audi? Filmed by the cyclist on 5th of July along mandai road, a white Audi A1 could be seen pulling out of a small lane and into the path of a cyclist who was doing less than 30km/h on his bike. According to the source SG Road Vigilante, the guys there reckoned the car did not notice or did not care about the cyclist, barely cutting him off. What do you guys think? Was it a close call or an error on the part of the Audi driver? Or was this a simple case of the cyclist letting his ego take control of him and not riding defensively for his own safety? Let us know in the comments below!
  12. Critics said the child's pose was "provocative" and life-threatening. Some pointed out that the driver would not be able to see the child in that pose, leaning on the grille. Others said the image was sexually suggestive, as bananas and sports cars have often been seen as symbols of male lust. https://bbc.in/33nNL8J
  13. i wonder who dares to put out such disparaging car experience in Singapore. PS. Most common conti models are assembled locally in Malaysia (CKD).
  14. https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/audi-q4-e-tron-sportback-electric-suv-will-be-revealed-tomorrow Audi will unveil the third member of its E-tron electric car family - the Q4 E-tron Sportback SUV - tomorrow evening. The Jaguar I-Pace rival was recently seen in disguised prototype form, showing design familiarity with the larger E-tron Sportback SUV-coupé. Audi confirmed via social media that the production model will be shown at a virtual world premiere, beginning at 6:15pm UK time. Details of the new electric model are yet to be revealed, but we can glean some information about the production car from last year's Q4 E-tron concept. That's 4.59m long and 1.9m wide - slightly shorter and wider than today’s Audi Q5. Comparing the concept and spied prototype suggests the overall shape hasn’t changed dramatically. Audi claims the concept has the interior space of a larger model, thanks to the substantial 2.77-metre wheelbase and lack of a transmission tunnel. The Q4 E-tron will be the first Audi to sit on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB bespoke EV platform; the E-tron and E-tron Sportback sit atop an adapted ICE car platform. The Q4 E-tron concept has a dual-motor powertrain comprising a 202bhp, 229lb ft motor powering the rear axle and a smaller motor powering the front wheels when traction is lost or full power is requested. The total system output is put at 302bhp. That's combined with an 82kWh battery pack yielding a WLTP-certified 280-mile range and the ability to charge at up to 125kW - resulting in an 80% charge in just half an hour. Expect the production Q4 E-tron Sportback to go on sale before the end of 2021.
  15. sgCarMart's video reviews are back! Finally after more than a month of quiet we are back with another review! And first up after our long break is the Audi A1 Sportback. Oh right, and its only Julian reviewing the car this time round, you know, cause sgCarMart is being socially responsible and all. The Audi A1 Sportback may have a decent boot by supermini standards, but looks like that boot is still just enough to make Julian work up a good sweat when loading in the child seat haha! And it looks like it has a pretty glam cockpit as well! And what about the drive? Well, I think this shot pretty much sums up the experience behind the wheel of the A1. So, if perhaps you're looking for something with a premium badge but is still compact enough to squeeze into any parallel lot at Little India, could this be what you have always been looking for? Watch the full video to find out more!
  16. These are two WOW rides boasting ponies in excess of 400bhp. If you had the cash to splash, which one would you go for?
  17. https://www.autonews.com/automakers-suppliers/vw-group-pay-267-million-audi-buyout Volkswagen Group will pay a 48 percent premium to buy out the minority shareholders of premium division Audi, Audi said on Tuesday. VW Group, which already holds 99.64 percent of Audi, announced the squeeze-out plans in February. "Volkswagen AG announced and specified that it has set the cash settlement to be paid to the minority shareholders in return for the transfer of their shares at 1,551.53 euros per Audi AG share," the automaker said. This compares with a share price of 1,050 euros a piece on Tuesday and amounts to a purchase price of 237 million euros ($267 million) for the 152,749 outstanding Audi shares, according to Refinitiv data. The transfer is expected to be passed at Audi's next annual general meeting, which the automaker said should take place in July or August.
  18. Now that is one close shave. As seen on SG Road Vigilante's facebook page, an Audi TT failed to stop at the give way line, nearly crashing into a Mitsubishi Lancer Ex which had the right of way on 29th of April Eagle-eyed readers would have definitely spotted the P-plate sign on the Audi, signaling to us that this might just be a rookie's honest mistake. In our opinion, we thought the camera car would have gotten a larger shock, seeing the Lancer swerve into his lane along Sengkang West Road. On another note, should the Lancer have slowed down instead of (recklessly)accelerating into the camera car's lane? Let us know in the comments below! 94921823_310296959954310_3878032568351719424_n.mp4
  19. Another day, another road rage incident. This time round, we see a driver coming out of his Audi Q5, shouting at the top of his lungs and taunting the camera car's driver to come out of his car. As seen from SG Road Vigilante, this person (and yes, he isn't wearing a mask) can be heard clearly spewing tons and tons of vulgarities. Definitely not child friendly in our opinion! Of course, the video, which was shot a week ago on 20th of April, only shows one side of the whole incident. We have no idea what caused the man in the SAF Infantry singlet to be so worked up. On another note, we can't help but be reminded of the Grab rider bubble tea incident that happened last week...
  20. This video has gone viral among the car enthusiasts community in Singapore. A white Hyundai i30 has been filmed by the camera car's passenger showing the Korean car cutting across lanes recklessly with signaling along the SLE. Obviously trying to taunt or block the camera car (an Audi), we have no idea what is the story behind this incident as the video does not come with any audio. The video lasts for 30 seconds and could well have been going on for sometime. We hope nothing bad comes out of this road rage incident. P.S. Dear Hyundai driver, maybe you should watch less video clips on Youtube about Osaka's infamous street racers... ef6b0a0d-6339-4962-9dda-e287bb98811c.MP4
  21. Hi Brothers may i just do a quick survey to check which of the above 3 luxury coupes best appeal to you? Key points of consideration; 1) Handling and Sheer Driving Pleasure; 2) Engine Refinement 3) Body Styling and looks 4) Value for Money Thanks
  22. Audi‘s next generation S3 model will also be available in Sedan form, featuring the same updated design and improved tech as its hatchback sibling. We can see loads of sporty-looking bits underneath this prototype’s camouflage, such as the chunky front and rear spoilers, large dual-spoke wheels and most of all, the quad exhaust pipe setup which points to this being anything but slow in a straight line. The new S3 Sedan will boast the same hexagonal grille and updated headlights as the rest of the fourth-gen Audi A3s. Still, the front bumper will feature bigger intakes, the profile will have more pronounced side sills, and the wheels will be bigger. At the rear, expect a slightly more elegant design compared to the current iteration, as well as updated taillights with modern graphics. The interior of the next A3, regardless of variant, will have a surprisingly angular design judging by previous images. The dashboard is also driver-oriented, and is expected to feature the automaker’s 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster as well as the latest in infotainment software. Under the skin we expect a similar setup to what’s available right now, namely a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch and Quattro all-wheel drive, altough power and torque figures could increase from the current model’s 295 HP (300 PS) and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm). Its main competitor, the CLA 35, has 302 HP (306 PS) and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm), so a slight bump is not out of the question. Since it’s possible we’ll see the all-new A3 and A3 Sedan debut before the end of this year, the more performance-oriented S3 will likely show up in 2020.
  23. Trapped at home? Why not tour Audi's Ingolstadt plant and watch the work in the bodyshop of the new Audi A3, or observe how the A4 gets assembled, all from the comfort of your living room! So get ready to ask away! Simply book a timeslot here, grab a cool one and watch away those circuit breaker blues. The AudiStream service is offered free of charge. I'll look for something that's not Audi next. Promise.
  24. Dark days are in store for all of us. To all those finding it difficult to resist the urge to head outside and to travel, Audi Australia has a treat in store, perfect for all those already suffering from cabin fever during these circuit breaker days. Unwind in the comfort of your own home and join Audi on a four-hour long drive of the New South Wales countryside in the all new Audi A6 as it travels through rolling hills and even navigates past dense fog and rainy sections. Hopefully this will aid in calming you guys down a little. Leave it running as a lullaby before you go to sleep? Heh! Stay safe everyone! #flattenthecurve
