I am pretty mechanical guy I remember I use to drive my car to the East Coast Park carpark and change my car engine oil myself I thought I was really cool BUT now looking back was real stupid euqipment not wrong and hardly worth saving those few dollars for a professional to empty the engine oil Then when I bought my Sunny which looks very much like the Datsun 120Y engine compartment played around with the distributor - remove clips and unscrewed a few screws and disaster struck .... springs flew all over the place Hell, got to call a mechanic over and paid a few hundred bucks for emergency service and change of distributor really embarass BUT todays car is different when I look under the hood there is nothing to look at in the engine compartment, it is all covered up except for the battery, fill washer and check engine and auto transmission dipstick maybe the manufacturers are trying to help me save money so I will not have a chance to DIY again Really missed the good old days...

Hi, if I move to a new neighbourhood and job where I'll definitely won't need the car anymore, since I bought an OPC car for 4 months already @ $15600 COE. If I want to get rid of it today, how much money do I have to cough up and pay the financier? car price was $24000, after $17k off for the OPC, total amt loan over 10yrs is $31800. I hate the financial loan sharks... give up car also gotta pay money. I feel like dumping the car in a river, and change address, phone no. and identity.

GTI is a bad car!! Don't get one!! . . . . it belongs to me! . . . . . just test drove, none of the horror stories reported with c&c happened to me. quite a pleasant experience. (maybe, doesn't hurt if you arrive there in an X3...) but the test drive, wooo! just 1/3 pedal and the power comes, almost no noticeable turbo lag! but got to wait till dec now to get car!

First and foremost, I've no intention of causing a conflict of interest with any one in this forum since there's a sponsor here. I'm just purely sharing my experience ... A while back, I posted the how to to DIY HVS in this forum ... someone actually took up the challenge (I keep him anonymous first) and built a few set for trial. I am one of the first batch gunine pig. Totally skeptical even for the real HVS, I looked at the device and feel puzzled how it can help in terms of any effect/improvement at all. Nevertheless, I took the black box and fixed in into my car. Didn't notice too much of a change .... The next day when I really had the chance to try the car, I am impressed with the amount of torque I get out of it !!! Again, the weather over the weekend was terrible & COOL ! Thus part of the effect might have been from the cool weather... but then again, it felt really really shiok. I am no electrical enginner and cannot explain why and how it help ... But just thought of sharing with all that this item WORKS ! Be it cheapo DIY or the real HVS ...
