Bros, Recently I went to TCM for service and was quoted to replace the following items: 1. Catalytic Converter 2. Driveshafts 3. Wheelbearing Called up Fong Tat and Teck Guan. Both not carrying the 1st and 2nd item. Fong Tat has wheelbearings though. But the quotation they gave me was $260 per piece! Asked for OEM but they claim OEM don't have stock and if have, is from PRC, quality not good. Any bros have better lobangs to intro? TIA~

Looking for a second hand one option, I found that prices for 2006 cars available are almost the same. Is it a no brainer to get the Cefiro? Or some advantage with Sylphy?

With the new Honda Accord 2008, what would be your choice for a family sedan? My personal favourite is Accord, but at sub-100K price, it lacks keyless entry and the buttons-full interior is a minus. Camry is too common on the road and now also used as a taxi. one plus point is CNG option for JDM model carried by PI. Nissan Cefiro is my last choice due to its poor FC, and ah-pek outlook.

Hi all, Just thought of asking brothers here to give some comments/pointers. I'm planning to change my existing ride. A few cars are in my shortlist: 1. Toyota Camry 2.4A 2. Nissan Cefiro 2.3A 3. Mit Lancer EX 2.0M GT 4. Chevy Epica 2.5A 5. Honda Civic 2.0M SI (maybe the Type R) 6. Honda Accord Euro-R A I could consider other cars in the 80 - 110K range. Few things I'm looking for: 1. Comfort - I travel alot to Malaysia (Ipoh/Penang). I would like the car to be roomy with excellent rear passenger legspace. As I'm pretty big size, I would like the driver seat to be comfortable. High speed cruising should be quiet and comfortable. So far, the Camry seems to have the edge on this one with the Cefiro coming close. The Cefiro has a very very comfortable front passenger seat - good for me to snooze when my co-pilot takes over *grinz*. 2. Performance - I do engage in spirited driving in Sg and Malaysia. Even in my current ride, my average speed on NSH is 180kmh.Hence the ride must have good pickup and top speed. I enjoy manual rides more as it gives me much more cornering control and pickup. The Hondas (especially the SI) seem to have the edge on this one. The Lancer EX manual also packs a pretty good punch. The Camry and Cefiro feels sedate though. 3. Engine - I'm not too sure on this one. Cefiro has the V6. Epica has the 6 in-line. The rest have 4 in-line. How different are they from each other? What are the advantages of V6 and 6 in-line? 4. Fuel Efficiency - I know the Cefiro is a guzzler. The Camry and Civic seems to have better efficiency. 5. Budget - As mentioned earlier, I hope to keep my expense down to 80 - 110K range. Road tax and insurance are also amongst my considerations. The car should also be reliable so that I don't have to make trips to the workshop. 6. Mods - Seems very ironic to talk about this since I'm looking at primarily Ah-Pek cars. However I do poison my ride. I know the Hondas have good chance for mods. In conclusion, I've test driven all the above cars except Euro-R. For each car, something seems to be missing. Hope that fellow brothers comments could help me make up my mind. Cheers.

Driving on CTE going out at Carnhill. Renault zoom and brake very close to me but I had to stick to limit. Van on my right going the same speed as me. Cefiro came out from right cut into my lane (gap between me and van about 1.5 car, although diff lane). Luckilly I managed to balance my braking because if I jammed my brakes, Renault would have hit me. If I did not, I would have hit the stupid Cefiro. What a mad man, luckilly I was conscious of the Renault. If not, he would have caused a minimum 2 car accident in the tunnel out to Carnhill. His car ...

Saw this very very mod Cefiro and have to share it. Chio looking yellow Cefiro. Pity about the colour. Would have look better in Black. Neverthless, doubt people would try to flag down this car thinking it is a taxi...too fierce looking lah ! Really committed to modifying the body. No turning back for this babe. This a bluff bluff roof air scoop made to look good only. This is a real air scoop cut into the bonnet of the vehicle. Actually vent the engine. These two side air scoops also compliments the main air scoop on the bonnet. This engine must be really hot requiring all these air scoops and vents ! Real cut into the fenders but only for looks without any actual venting of the engine compartment. Another real cut in but no actual venting on the rear door. Of course he has a rear spoiler but cannot take a nice picture because it is too near the wall. The spoiler is kind of normal though. With these kind of body work, who would care about the rear spoiler ?

Guys sorry to start a new thread.. But cant find lah ! WHen my mom and dad floors the pedal quite hard, there would be a very stinging smell from the aircon. It smells like the Latio Ionizer when it releases the ion thing. But, i checked already Only Presage and Latio and i think Sylphy has Ionizer thing. LOL ! So i dunno why the air con has the funny smell... But it only occurs SOMETIMES...

Hey guys.... Just asking ah... do you guys here know where to get the new cefiro fl versions brake lite? The LED one..... Cause my father thinks the pre fl one the braking light is dim and it only is one portion of the red light... yes even tho the new one is also small portion but at least its brighter. Yepps...
