My car is using Blaupunkt Toronto RDM 128 HU and some stock speakers. Somehow the sound from the front side speakers were not loud enough and the rear speaker though loud but doesn't sound crisp enough. What could be the problem ? Do I change the HU or the speakers ? If I were to change the speaker, which type, there seems to be many "technical" terms, 2-way, 3-way etc.. which type of speaker to get for the front side and rear? thanks

Hi there, My car starts to vibrate when I am driving more that 110km/h. This happens after I change my timing belt, oil seal, water pump. The vibration includes the steering wheel. I feel the floor of the driver seat vibrates too(I think). According to the service advisor, they have taken out my front wheel. Hence, I need to do the high speed balancing (on-wheel balancing). I wonder whether the service advisor is correct. Therefore, I would to seek your opinion. Cheers Sucker

All MCFs, I have negotiated with a workshop for oil change, oil filter change, air-filter cleaning at a price of not-more then $10 to $20 per visit (depending on what is to be done). You only got to pay for the service and oil disposal. You need to bring your own resources. Oil Change includes changing of engine oil, ATF etc.. Those who are interested can call the below: Yew Lip Spray Painting. 6 453 6600 Blk 15, Sim Ming Industrial Park look for Angie, her mobile is 9 383 3618 Show her your MCF Decal and you will get a special rate. Some MCF forumers like Guyver, TB and myself goes there and must say, Service is excellant.

My car's 20,000 km limit is almost up. Thus it's time to flush my auto trans and do a complete change of the ATF. Any bros here can advise which workshop has the lowest price? I used to do it in JB. But I got to bring in my own ATF (which is illegal as the item is taxable). ATF bought from Esso at $6.50 per bottle. Bought 10 bottles. M'sia workshop charged me RM50 for the labour. Thus total price is about SGD 90. Is there any local workshop whose price comes close to SGD 90? Thanks

Are essential nuts and bolts on suspension, brakes, engine require changing to new ones everytime they are removed? I'm reading through my Haynes manual and they recommend changing the bolts and nuts of items like brake caliper, suspension arms, engine mountings, etc. Necessary or just anal?
