My vehicle steering wheel audio control used to be able to control the aftermarket Pioneer HU. However, not sure what had happened or since when, it no longer be able to do so. Anyone has any idea what is the root cause or how I can get the control back?

Hi all, Anyone encountering this fault on a Toyota? My Toyota Fielder is occasionally giving this fault code especially when I do high speed driving on the expressway - especially so I noticed when I'm on the NS highway. When I'm back, it's very rarely giving this fault code. The CEL goes on for a while and then goes off. But when I use an ODBII reader, I can still read the stored fault code. So, my question is : should I change the Knock Sensor? I think this is the only serviceable part. I asked my workshop and he says he has not changed this before?

I need a IR remote control repeater. I have only one SVC box in my living room. I have cabled extra line to my bedroom TV. I can't control the SVC box from my bedroom. Please don't ask me to place mirrors to reflect/bounce the IR signals till it reach the SVC box, or ask me to get an extra SVC box, or watch tv in living room, or move the scv box bedroom. I was quoted by a distributor for a film costing $6 psf and $16 psf respectively for sun control film. The cheaper one has metal content while the latter is metal-free. As my unit has windows all around taking the more expensive option is almost $3k for me, but I worry if i take the cheaper option, the metal containing film might interfere with mobile and wifi signals? I try to save $ when I can...

Effective Speed Controls in India Indian Speed Controls Speed controls being used in India ... How's this for effective speed control? I don't know about you, but this would certainly slow me down! Drivers slow down and actually try to "straddle" the hole. This is an actual speed control device that is currently in use. It is MUCH cheaper than speed cameras, radar guns, police officers, etc. Pretty clever -- especially when they move them around every day. Isn't art wonderful?

CNA report : Long term flood control plan in pipeline SINGAPORE: Singapore is now at a point where it needs to embark on decades long plan for flood control infrastructure. This is the assessment by Environment and Water Resources Minister, Dr Vivian Balakrishnan. He said measures undertaken in the 1960s and 1970s have succeeded in easing the threat of prolonged floods, but events of the last few years have highlighted the need to improve infrastructure to cope with flash floods. Dr Balakrishnan disclosed that in addition to reviewing the drainage system, the national water agency PUB has also commissioned an independent study to assess the possibility of a new diversionary canal off the Stamford Canal in Orchard Road, as well as a new retention pond in the same area. But such projects are likely be costly and will have to be weighed against benefits. But beyond building bigger drains and deploying better technology, Dr Balakrishnan said the public must also be seen as part of the solution. This means taking their feedback and complaints seriously and encouraging them to post updates on flash floods. He added that the volatile weather causing flash floods today can just as well result in droughts in the near future, and his greater concern is Singapore's long term water security. The way he intends to manage this is to design a infrastructure that can be used for flood as well as drought control. Just a topic for discussion ... I am seeing so many car cameras posting overtaking, beating red lights, cars accidents etc Can these videos be submitted to traffic police as evidence? Would traffic police really take action against car owner that is in video? But it is just a car plate without driver's face, so car owner will get called in for investigation? Is it even legal? I am also wondering, isnt it an invasion of privacy to have these cameras onboard and recording? Okie so Singapore does not have privacy laws but still these cameras if not controlled can perhaps be used for other mischief too.

Bros, I need help. Am driving a A6 2.4MU. Recently the oil leak sign came on and I had it fixed with a workshop visit. Then as I drove out of the workshop, the ECS orange light came on. Also the car started to feel sluggish. The car also needed a few cranks to start (usually starts instantaneously). Brought it back to check and have been told the Impulse Sender is faulty. This was replaced by Premium Automobile yesterday. PA told me that there are some other errors detected after the change of the Impulse Sender (another diagnostic test was conducted). However requires more time to investigate. But I need to use the car so took the car back. The charges by PA was ridiculous high. I paid 4 times the amount VAG would have charged me. But I went to PA as I was hopeful that the problem would go awat immediately (only PA has stock of the impulse sender). Would appreciate any advice here. Thanks

I only use a few times on the cruise control in 2 years, find that Sg road traffic is not suitable to drive on cruise control. I have tested car with paddle shift like Golf, Mz 3 n 6 and Civic with paddle swift, but I perfer to use the gear stick than paddle swift to down swift in sport mode for up slope climbing in expressway. And my friend always leave the gear in sport mode all the time as the car can rev higher PRM before change gear. How often you will use the paddle swift n Cruise Control on your steering wheel?
