I myself a 1.6TS drive. i bought my car in 04. i did ot make any changes to the car yet. i am experience wind noise at around 120km/h izzit normal. i suspect there's problem in the sound insulation system of the car. i looked around the car and discovered that the rubber in between the glass window and the frame of the car seems to be whitish and stretchy. Seems that it have start to deteriotate. Is it normal? all the 1.6TS out there with the stock rim and tyre(michelin energy XH-1) do you find that this tyre is extremely noisy. mine is exceptionally noisy can you all give me your view? Thanks

Damn..... kanna knock on my bumper and left side of the bonet.....my left head light dropped out also..... was driving on the extreme right lane...about to turn right.... the lorry on my left... turning right too... then suddenly stir right into my turning lane..... use the back of his lorry and bang my left bonet corner.... now CNY no body to repair.... bloody sxxt.... pui.... that road damn suay... kanna knock on the same junction before too. can anyone suggest where to repair better.... go back to star auto or ntuc authorised workshop... will going to other workshop to do repair job void any parts warranty...mostly external damages.

was on CTE heading home this morning.. there was this corolla on the extremely right lane.... think he wanted to exit ave 5.. wah lau...from right lane cut till the exit to ave 5...without even signalling... think even if he signal also no diff.... I just felt that what he did was very irresponsible and dangerous. Looks like people can't claim the honda drivers are dangerous & reckless. Just look at this corolla drove today... Hope people's mentality will change...

Remember I said something about this some time back? MSD system cannot fix into our cars because the driver not compatible. Hi, I just got my Matrix Revo last Sat. And I do not like the magnifying effect of the driver's side mirror. Anyone knows any 'lobang' to change the side mirror to the normal type at a good rate? Pls give me contact no.,address of workshop and the charges. Thanks. I have some problems doing reverse parking as the image on the driver's side mirror does not give a true reflection of how close/far I am to obstacles when I am reversing the Matrix. I have tried to ask SE to change for me, but he declined. For those of u driving Matrix, did u change the mirror or have learned to 'tolerate' this magnifying effect?

I am sorry to have hear this, Japz, and also I hope u will not be mad if I had used your story as a poll. I have seen MCFers condamn the Subaru driver like no other people business maybe due to some reasons like: a. They only hear your side of story but not the other's driver side of story. b. They have bad impression of WRX drivers. c. It's your cousin who is injured, so many people sympathy with your cousin. d. Anyway, it sounds definately like the Subaru's fault. Japz, I am glad that u keep yourself neutral and no back stabbing on the Subaru driver as I agree it will be much fairer to let the police handle the case. Anyway, since so many people give negative feedback on the driver, IF YOU ARE THE SUBARU DRIVER, WILL YOU CALL JAPZ? I THINK YOU MUST ASK YOURSELF THIS QUESTION B4 PASSING OPINION ON PEOPLE. Regards from Julian Here is Japz's story earlier this month: My cousin, a motorcyclist, was hit by a white Subaru TS/WRX on the 4th of December, Saturday, at abt 4pm, along Bradell Road towards Thomson after the CTE exit. It is a hit and run case. The white Subaru was apprently 'playing' with another white Subaru along the road. My cousin couldn't determine whether it was a Subaru TS or WRX. They were both swerving in and out in front of my cousin before one of the Subaru swerved into my cousin's bike. My cousin was hit from the right. So, there should be some scratch mark or dent on the left side of the doors on the white Subaru. Anyone went to kallang to view the course ? Quite a good show. Chief Instructor (Leslie "chung" ?) executed a 180 turn with hand brake and gun off all very smoothly. Lots of cars signed up for the course. WRX STI, WRX, STI (suspect its TS 1.6), Nissan March, BMW 520i, MX5 (convertible), 2 x Toyota Corrola (1 new, 1 old), Nissan Sunny, 2 x Forrestor (1 with loud BOV ), Vivio, 3 x civic (2 old 1 new) The race was flaged off by a civic which made a right turn and gunned down the long straight but unfortunately a little too fast and serious understeer was a result which caused the car to mount kerb and fly into the tree. Pretty badly damaged. 2nd accident was a black STI driven by an caucasian with sg girlfriend as co driver. He too took the corner too fast and almost crashed into the exact spot of the civic. The result was a heavily damaged rim and broken side skirt but other then that should be fine. Both cars got towed away as a result. Feel heart pain to see these cars crash. Other then that the main highlight was the nissan sunny driver who loves to handbrake. Quite a skillful driver considering he picked up the technique fast. Unfortunately this driver wasn't aware of the safety of bystanders when he exit the track and continued do his stunt. I just thought it was inconsiderate. Nissan march amongst all cars clocked 1 of the fastest timing considering the car and engine size. It definitely ain't the car but a result of skill. Apparently the driver suffered an overturn to learn his lessons well. Pretty spectacular I must say.

I know this may sound stupid but my car just won't move when the engine is cold. BUt when i apply pressure,as i ram my accelerator real hear for real long, to the accelerator there is a hesitation, then jerks very hard and THEN will it start to accelerate. I had two 2nd hand cars b4 but i do not really need to warm them up b4 i can move them... SO,is there any thing wrong with my old car or is it just mE?

it was about 12:45pm and towards direction of eunos from hougang, im was on a cab. it was before comfort driving centre, when from the corner of my eye, i saw something dart )out and this INSANE spacewagon GLXi (blue/white) suddenly cut into the lane of the cabby at a sharp angle at rather high speed (i was the front side passenger and the distance between them was really short, at most 10cm) cabby braked. we didnt even managed to catch a glimpse of the driver and he commented he got a shock. If the cabby didnt give way, sure hit, Then the cabby gave chase, cant even really catch up until she was blocked by traffic conditions and from behind we saw her crazy antics, (the road infront of comfort driving centre and kah motors, the jam is terrible ya know): saddling 2 lanes, couldnt decide which lane to take and moving back. and cutting from left lane to the first lane in one go all without signalling happened lots of times In short, reckless, lack of sound judgement and stupid. Felt angry and disgusted at this kinda behaviour. So bloody irresponsible, what if she causes an accident? But now looking back, she might have an emergency? You'll never know. But still thats not reason enough to drive recklessly.

Hi, the driver seat of my G9 is creaking like mad. Real irritating when driving. Worse is that the sound sometime have, sometime don't have and it is always when i bring down to BM that the sound disappear only to come back once i get out of there. Anyone experience this problem b4??

Hey guys, Guess what? I was travelling along AYE going back home when I was being tailgated by a wonderfully-coloured beetle car (dark green) with a unreasonable driver onboard (pity the nice colour and girlfriend ). It was a male driver. Now, why was he unreasonable, you might ask? Well, I was travelling at a healthy speed, while happily chatting with my girlfriend when this driver came up behind me. Not only was he tailgating me, he was flashing his headlights at me constantly! As if to tell me to give way to him on a public road!!! that's when i got really mad and copied his license plate number and time of incident!!! while slowing down to let him pass me. well... with his arrogance, he naturally sped past me at a speed of at least 150Km/hr. Even though I tried to catch up withim to give a piece of my mind ,he was even risking everyone's lives by dashing even thorough the red light! Anyone know where to lodge a compliant for such drivers? Thanks!
