  1. I always have this mindset when it comes to buy things, products and services. Especially when i am servicing my car or intending to upgrade some of the parts. When you are looking for cheap and good, it will not be fast. when you are looking for good and fast, it will not be cheap. when you are looking for fast and cheap, it will not be good. Just my 2 cents if thoughts! Do give me your opinion on this!

  3. Recently this little friendly battle was shared around Facebook and it caught our attention. It is not everyday that we get to see supercars battle on the streets. Or rather we don’t even get to see our local supercars stretch their legs because there is nowhere for them to do it here. Not that we condone street racing... The Lamborghini Aventador in the video leading the chase is nicknamed "Pandaventador" and it seems to have quite a decent following in Malaysia. With probably more than 700bhp sent to all four wheels, it easily leaves the Nissan GT-R behind with its immense acceleration. Heavy traffic? Not an issue with the Aventador as the driver weaves in and out of traffic at breakneck speeds. At one point during the chase, the GT-R's in-car camera recorded speeds of more than 200km/h. http://dai.ly/x156rq2 At the end of the video, the GT-R is seen catching up with a Ferrari 430 Scuderia. Part 2 anyone?

  9. Eating Western-style fast food can increase one's risk of developing diabetes and dying from heart disease, a local study has found. The research, a first that looks at the impact of fast food on Asians, found that those who eat fast food more than four times a week had an 80 per cent higher risk of dying of a heart disease. Those who eat fast food more than twice a week are also 30 per cent more likely to develop type 2 diabetes. Western-style fast food is categorised in this study as cheeseburgers or hamburgers, pizzas, hot dogs, french fries, ham sandwiches, and deep-fried chicken. 10. From Yahoo! News COMMENT One thing hasn't changed since a red supercar slammed into a taxi near Bugis Junction last weekend. Ferrari's showroom on Leng Kee Road is still open for business and its flashy website continues to sell the dream of macho power and unbridled speed. Anger at the unnecessary deaths has been directed at the rich young Chinese national at the wheel of the 599 GTO that night. When the video surfaced suggesting that he had ignored a red light, Singaporeans' outrage was matched only by that of people in China who are sick of the class of individuals in their midst who think they can get away with anything (because they often do). Opponents of gun control in the United States have a famous slogan that says, "Guns don't kill people, people kill people." It states the obvious, that unless you inhabit the world of Terminator or the Transformers, humans shouldn't be blaming machines for their problems. As obvious, though, is the fact that people can kill people is by failing to control the harm they can inflict with their machines. We already have speed limits, and the government has promised to step up enforcement. But, in this and all other cases of speed-related deaths, we seem to accept without question the right of manufacturers and merchants to sell fast cars that maybe just don't belong in a crowded city. The comparison with guns is instructive. The standard defence of gun rights in the US is that guns aren't used only to commit violent crimes: they can also be used for hunting and self-defence. But then you don't need a military assault rifle like an AK-47 for such purposes, so these are more tightly regulated. Cars, similarly, have mostly benign uses. When you think about it, though, it is odd that there are no special restrictions on buying the vehicular equivalents of AK-47s: cars expressly engineered for purposes that would be unsafe anywhere or anytime in Singapore. We have no speed-unlimited autobahns nor a cross-country rally course. Yet, luxury sports models like Ferraris and more-affordable racers such as the Subaru WRX ply our roads freely, packed with the kind of horsepower that has no legal purpose. True, a Ferrari is a thing of beauty even when it is standing still, so why shouldn't a car aficionado buy one like it's a piece of art. However, as last weekend's crash seemed to demonstrate, a thoroughbred strains to show what it was created for, and the temptation to let it can be irresistible. (When I last bought a car, I reluctantly decided against the Suzuki Swift Sport

  12. Sorry brothers. Let me rant. Shouldn't TP or LTA enforce that CYCLISTS shouldn't cycle in Lane 1 a.k.a "Fast Lane" a.k.a "Speeding Lane"? KNN. Those cyclists think they can ride faster than 70 KM/h is it? These stupid Cyclist think they are professional simply because they are in full cycling gear, helmet, crotch-protruding ballet tights? They don't want their lives, I want to keep my driving license! [rifle]

  15. Hi all, Is it true that following a fast running taxi at E-way is generally safe without being caught by camera? Sometimes, I find some taxi drivers (with passengers) driving very fast along E-way, aren't they afraid of the speed camera signs or what? Some friends told me taxi are very informative and they all know which are the roads that they can drive very fast and they inform each other where are the speed trap areas. What do you guys think of this? Regards,

  19. This is the second incidents that I have encountered with this "Fast and Furious" lorry on CTE, VRN is G__ 2734 _. I was driving on CTE towards SLE at around 8 am and in the tunnel. I have encountered this lorry twice in the last two weeks that was driving way above it's speed limit on Lane 1. The last time, he was even waving in and out between lane 1 and 2. To the management of the company, please take note of the behaviour of this "fast and furious" driver as it is a matter of time that he will get into trouble with the authority. Beside I would consider him as a "danger" to the other road users pm the road.

  21. Ok went to watch Fast 5 (Fast and Furious 5). At the ending part, at the beach, Paul Walker was challenging vin Diesel on a 1-on-1 race (Nissan GTR vs Dodge Challanger). vin Diesel said to Paul, something like - 'you sure you not going to regret?'. What does that mean? Anything got to do with that two machines? is the race bao jia and sure lose/win?
  22. Hi Bros, Planning to watch The Fast and The Furious 5, anyone watch it yet?? Heard people say after fist set of credits will have another part, true? btw what is the review? Thanks
  23. 2011 GE has just passed, and WP has captured Aljunied. Now Fast-forward to 2016, what will the PAP do to capture Aljunied back? assuming no changes in ecomony, and social issues. 1) sent in a bigger gun? (aka: another minister? or the PM himself?) 2) or arrow some unkown and drag it out like STYP. Note: now that they split up the normination centres, suddenly switching out Aljunied to avoid a "big gun" will be difficult for WP. My take on future elections, PAP will alway be on the defensive. and which million dollar minister is willing to risk their pay-cheque. Personally i would love to see PAP take option 1, if they have the balls!! haha. your comments
