Two encounters I had with doctors left me disgusted. Some years ago, I took my son to a specialist for a procedure. After I paid the bill, the specialist chided me for not telling him that my son was covered by my company's medical insurance scheme. His exact words: 'Had I known that you were covered by insurance, I would have charged you twice the amount.' Recently, I consulted a specialist on a medical condition. I paid for the consultation, blood test, medication and a series of three treatments, which were to follow. At one of the treatments, the specialist happened to enter the treatment room while I was being attended to by a nurse. We engaged in some small talk, which inevitably drifted to a conversation on my condition. At the end of the treatment, I was billed $96.30, including goods and services tax, for the 'consultation'. On querying the nurse, I was told that as long as I spoke with the specialist, a consultation charge would be incurred. I found this baffling as my visit to the clinic was for treatment, and I did not have an appointment with the specialist. Nevertheless, I paid. Just out of curiosity, do you guys actually click on the banner ads that appear while reading posts from MCF-ers. I am ad blind so I dont really take notice of them unless its really captivating. Do you guys click on them?

Hi I am the adminstrater for nissan latio forum. http://forum.thelatioclub.org/index.php Due to the fact that our forum will end at this april. I am considering to extend it but due to the low numbers of active members. I seriously need some ideas on how to further enhance the forum. Any ideas?

Just checking if anyone is facing the same issue The forum cant seem to load up properly when i use my ipad. The screen is slow in loading and the almost comes to a halt Moreover it keeps on saying that there is a problem with the webpage and keeps reloading? Perhaps its time i retire

the topics there are like at least a year old~! no one buys ICE any more? I did a search there and a lot of the info are kinda outdated liow. hoping to look for any stock HU and speaker set for my ride. my speakers chui liow. need replacement. second hand also can cos my ride gonna scrap in 2 years. no need to get too expensive. any good lobang? or any of you getting rid of your stock? i went to marketplace, noob at this, so see the ads also dunno how to make decision. got coaxial speakers lah. then got combo lah. then got HU lah... all seperated. i just one something simple... replace HU and speakers, 2 at front door, 2 at the rear. possible to get a decent used set with USB in for under $200?

Just noticed a change in the forum. The previous row allowing one click access back to new post/participated post/latest discussions/most active discussions has now been shrunk to this button which u have to mouse over on a computer and actually click twice on android chrome browser (1st to open the button menu then 2nd to click on what u want to access). How lehcheh is this man. From a one click action, increase to two. And for a NEGLIGIBLE increase in screen real estate. On a computer i don't feel it's that big an issue but it's really irritating while on mobile. Especially in a forum where there are multiple pages and the back button does not bring u back to the main forum page. Our phone screens are not that big. And to have to click 2 small icons in a row... I vote this a thumbs down.

Hi everyone, Are there any website or forum that discusses about Singapore PR Application? I just received a letter from ICA that my wife's (who is from PRC) application for PR has been rejected only after submitting the application 2 months ago. Very sian becos it is siong psychologically for her to just stay at the home and not able to work to contribute to the family.... considering the fact that both of us are university grad. Really appreciate if someone can point out a good forum to discuss and enquire about this issue. Thanks ahead!

Hi all, Can I know if there is any Hyundai Forum in Singapore? I tried to register at http://www.clubhyundai.org, i did not receive any confirmation email to activate my account. I just bought a second hand Tuscani for my wife and would like to join in the forum to learn from other members there.

The Junk button was intended for users to have an outlet to express their negative emotions on posts. It could be for disagreement, anger, annoyance, disgusted, etc. We have received much feedback that Junk is too strong a word to use. The administrators including myself also agree that this word has a much stronger negative connotation than we had intended. Therefore, we have changed Junk to Dislike.
