I realised many parking lots in town area that's free after 5pm or 10pm has now changed to ERP parking and they no longer offer free after office hours .After 10pm they charge by usual to a maximum of $4. For example last time opposite cineleisure is free parking after 10pm, but now chargeable. Now fort canning also changing to ERP charging liao, hanky panky also need to pay. Just a rant.

Who feels this way? In fact, if u consider that when you die or no longer need a home and u sell ur house u will calculate that most of us will actually get paid to stay at your home! And because of our forced tax/savings called CPF, we can own a home purely by using this fund (which u cannot see if u dont use anyway). So housing in SG is free or more accurately, u get paid for buying a house (when u or kids evetually sells it)!

Heard on the news this morning USA is considering a total ban on the use of hand-free phones etc while driving. A recent road death had record showing the dead driver sent 11 smses within 10 minustes of the car accident which killed him. If hand-free phone calls are considered by the law maker a distraction for the drivers, i would say talking to passengers (worst case: argueing/quarrelling) is just as bad. Do you think hand-free calls, texting, playing angry bird, etc etc should be banned, or even talking while driving must also be banned? Some say a life is worth a million dollars, or more (if he's a minister, definitely more?).
