It is very sad that we lost 8 maids so far. It is really sad indeed. Most of the time they fall without proper supervision. Should we not ensure that 1. They never clean or do risky jobs without capable supervision and guidance 2. Get them some sort of full body safety belts We avoid cleaning those window areas with high risk of falling - Windows can be dirty rather than losing valuable life.

Motorists living in estates such as Sengkang, Punggol and Yishun using the Central Expressway in the morning peaks will have a mix of good news and bad news. From May 7, those who choose to exit at Braddell will not pay a cent in electronic road-pricing (ERP) charges (down from 50 cents today). But those who continue towards the city will have to pay $2 between 7.30am and 8am, and $3 between 8am and 8.30am. The new rates are 50 cents and $1 respectively more than today's rates. The $2 and $3 charges apply to motorists entering the CTE south of Braddell too. But those using the Pan-Island Expressway slip road into the CTE will pay $3 instead of $3.50 today. A delivery driver was fined $8,000 and banned from driving for three years on Wednesday for causing the death of a motorcyclist along an expressway. Lim Teck Thim, 53, admitted to making a lane switch from the extreme left to the second left lane of Ayer Rajah Expressway on Jan 7 last year without taking reasonable care, resulting in a collision with Mr Khoo Boon Ann's motorcycle. The 25-year-old was thrown off his machine and run over by a trailer. He died on the spot. heard only ar, don sue me. scenario : - I want to sell my house. i use an agent. the agent found me a potential buyer. but he don bring the buyer to me(yet). the agent call his colleague( lets call him Mr B) to approach "my" potential buyer and tell the buyer he got a suitable house n want to act as the buyer agent. so when the sales is concluded. my agent will get his com from me. Mr B will get his com from the buyer and share with my agent. Y do that? because nowadays agent can only collect com from 1 side... so by introducing an agent to the buyer, he get more $.... anyone met this type of agent before?

Hi all, Got these brand Pirelli new tyres from Autobac at or about 2.5 years, the date of manufacture was only 2 months old then. The first picture shows the puncture that lead to the findings on the rest of the tyres. Cracks can be found in the insides of all the tyres. Frequent rotations did not highlight the cracks. Glad that the puncture help me to realise these faulty MADE IN CHINA Pirelli tyres could have exploded at high speed. Had driven for decades and this is the first time I have experienced this. Seriously, please check the inside part of your tyres for safety. Fortress.

Car plate is SJ something 5217.. this loser was driving along Admiralty Road West and think his car super powerful but in front of him there is this truck going at 70km/hour on the right lane ( got two lanes ). This loser TAILGATED the Truck for a good 10 second within inches and finally overtook from the left. I was right behind driving leisurely on the left lane and had to slammed on my brakes to allow some space for this super powerful joker car to cut into my lane. I thought all is well but this stupid joker swerved back into the truck lane and jammed brake to 0 km/hour after on his hazard lights. I slowly drove past them and was observing the stupid antics from my rear mirror. He behaved like a thug and kept waving his hand and pointing his middle fingers at the poor driver behind who had to slammed on his brake. OTher cars behind ALL got to slam on their brakes to 0km/hour not knowing what is happening in front. Finally I reached the next traffic light and the Audi zoomed past me at speeds of 120km/hour in a 60km/hour road while the truck is slowly catching up with me after I am at the junction waiting to turn left. What a day!

anyone knows what is wrong? my ride is FL vios... 5yrs liao... things which i have done: 1) check original suspension/damper, ws in sg said they are hardened liao so went in jb changed coilovers 2) still got sound aft coilover, went to check further with b*rne* and they cant give me a real answer (disappointed wif their professionalism) 3) went to ws in ubi (FK), told me 4-pt bar below got one screw no washer dan help me add one washer in... after tat still got sound 4) went back jb again and they said bushing not tighten so help me tighten and took out the 4-pt bar... change and flush power steering oil in there 5) until now still got "kok" sound, ws was saying confirm not drive shaft as my drive shaft is very good... so wat is wrong??? pls dun give me anyhow answer... thanks a lot to bros here...

Ok..since I complained them so much last time, I thought I should give them back some credit when they did improved. I sent a parcel to Vpost USA 2 weeks ago and I was pleasantly surprised that I can do my own self declare for shipment now. I don't need to send them my invoice. Previously, sending them the invoice and getting them to recognise the invoice and giving me a shipping bill take a bloody long time. Now, when the parcel arrived at my Vost USA address, they will inform me (via email) that the parcel has arrived. Then I just login my Vpost account, do a self declare, and it will automatically show me the shipping bill. I do payment and that's it. Item will arrive 3-4 days later to my destination in SGP. It's fast. And they also didn't delay informing me when the parcel arrived at my Vpost USA address. Not bad...hope they maintain this well.

On Sunday evening, I ordered my new iPad on line through Apple Customer Service On-Line Order together with external spare attachment battery and pouch. I ordered on-line after doing whole afternoon shopping comes to nothing as all sold out at Apple's stores and SingTel shops. Received a reply that order confirmed and payment made. On Wed, received another e-mail informing that the delivery of my external battery and pouch delivering on Thursday by local despatch company. Later in the evening, another e-mail confirming my delivery order number and also DHL tracking number code. Check the DHL code and was surprised that it was shipped all the way from USA. Its leave Apple store on 28/03 @ 1600hrs, reach airport in US at 1900hrs. Arriving to SG on 29/03 at 1400hrs. Cleared custom checks at 1642hrs in Changi Airport Cargo Complex. Current location at DHL warehouse, Singapore. I always have the impression that Apple has a main office in Singapore and with so many Apple stores around, my iPad could be delivered from one of those stores in Singapore. What a surprise that it was shipped from USA. Does anyone able to explain how come it was from US and not local Apple office?

The duo, both Chinese nationals, rifled through the bags that had been stowed in overhead cabins looking for valuables. In one case, they struck gold - US$5,000 (S$6,300) in a laptop bag. But an eagle-eyed crew member cottoned on to their game: By the time the Jakarta-Singapore flight landed at Changi Airport, the police were waiting for the pair.
