Hey Guys I will be driving up to KL this coming weekend. My car will be due for servicing in another 1000km. My question is: Should I service 1st then go up, or back then service? Need your expertise advice. Thank you.

recently whenever I am going over a hump, esp with people in the back seat, the undercarriage would be hit. seems that the suspension or shock absorbers is too soft. I have replaced all four shock absorbers but problem still around. should I change the spring/suspension so that the car is not so bouncy? btw, I am driving a 2007 Camry 2.4

wads ur normal speed? will u brake to a 1-2km/h and slowly cross over or normal 30km/h go through? How about those big hump for zebra crossing? did u maintain ur speed or just slow down?

Mr Lui was speaking for the first time in the aftermath of the illegal strike by bus drivers from China last week, and said public transport cost increases over the years have outpaced fare adjustments. He was trying out the route of a new service on Thursday under the government's billion-dollar Bus Service Enhancement Programme. Mr Lui said the 34 Chinese bus drivers out of work from SMRT due to the strike make up only about 0.5 per cent of the total pool of 8,000-odd drivers. Therefore, the impact on bus enhancements should be minimal. What's of concern, however, is the lingering effect of the strike on recruitment and retention of bus drivers, and Mr Lui said the government is watching this carefully. Looking at public transport fare adjustments of past years, Mr Lui said while fares have increased by 0.3 per cent, costs in fuel and wages for instance have gone up by 30 per cent. He said the fare review committee recognises this "significant mismatch". Mr Lui said: "Any fare adjustment will allow the two operators to have more resources, in time to come, to make further salary adjustments to their drivers. We recognise that the drivers need to be paid more. (The) question is, where is that money coming from? "So we need to see the relationship between any fare adjustment, wage increase, and any other forms of government support that we might be required to give to the operators." Mr Lui said it is difficult to wean dependence off foreign bus drivers as Singaporeans may not want to take up the job. So salary adjustments, at least, will make the occupation more attractive to locals. He said previous salary adjustments have helped to increase the recruitment of drivers, both local and foreign. When asked whether SMRT should face any penalty as a result of the strike, Mr Lui said the operator will be evaluated according to quality of service standards. Impact on bus services as a result of the two-day strike will be taken into account. Mr Lui said he also spoke to SMRT's Chief Executive Desmond Kuek on the strike, and said the organisation needs to improve in many areas. He said Mr Kuek needs to be given time to turn things around. From December 16, two new SBS Transit bus services will start plying under the Bus Service Enhancement Programme. Service 50, which will start service on December 16, will cover Ang Mo Kio, Yio Chu Kang, Sengkang and Punggol. Express Service 513 will start on December 17, connecting residents of Tampines to the Central Business District. This service only runs during the morning and evening peak period on weekdays. In addition, four new bus services will be added to the bus network in the first quarter of 2013. Three of them come under the government's enhancement programme, while the other is a trunk service by SBS Transit at its own cost.

Damn pissed off with the guard at my work place this was what happened today. The car park was full... me: (waits at the entrance hopping that someone will go out and i can go in), i am still in the car the guard comes guard:you cannot park here me: i am waiting for some one to come out so that i can go in guard: you cannot wait here cos your car is near my sensor and will wrack havock in my system. (not true as i have done it later in the afternoon, waited for like 15 min) me: so, i move to one side without my car above your sensor. guard: that will be obstructing traffic coming into the car park. AND I WILL CLAMP YOUR WHEEL. me: what traffic, i am waiting inside the vehicle guard: : you still cannot park and i will clamp your wheel, you can go to other carpark me: ) drives off) then back at my work place: I saw the guard trying to clamp a buffet cafeteria's van while the diver was making his delivery (van was parked at the fire engine access) F**k that guard. if this is going to happen tomorrow again i will call the police. I just noted that the sign outside the carpark states 'cars park illegally will be clamp/tow' no mention of waiting

i am quite amazed by ppl who goes around singapore or website asking for the best exhcange rate to foreign currency. I never do that as i don change in millions. i am not sure if it is worth the effort or going to a further place just to get that extra few cents worth. what is your take?

Hi all, Just wanna share my incident with all of you. Drove my car to melaka with my wife and parked my car at somewhere near Jonker Walks, less than50m away from the Melaka Police Headquater. Stayed over for a night. Less check car at 1am and leave at 4.30am on saturday morning. Realised passenger door window got smashed and all my items are stolen. Wiring are all cut off... Items stolen below Defi meters (3) with Defi Controller Biltz Boost Controller Shift Lamp Turbo Timer Centre clock piece got pull out and stolen too coz defi meters are on top.. Garmin GPS. So all pls be careful when you are there. Thought its a safe place but haiizz... Cheers

Ok, I'm being persuaded to get car cam from local contact. Since not spending time finding car cam in HK, i focus on finding best places to eat I state what i wan to try, as below.
