..this morning. The palm area is itching like hell. Normally, and has been previously proven, when the hand itches, $$$ comes in. Be it a lucky draw, or more business, it has worked like clockwork ALL the time. I will post here what windfall I receive when i get it. Anybody with similar experiences?

Hey guys im cosidering buying a 2nd hand car in the future but im thinking. does it make sense to buy a 2nd hand car?? Assume im buying a BRAND NEW M3 at $394,800 with 90% loan over a period of 10 years. The monthly installment would be $3518 (1.88%interest) I am then able to drive the car for 10 years at $3518 installment for 10 years. However, if I buy a 2ND HAND 2010 M3 at $328,888 with 90% loan ($295999) over the remaining life of the car. The monthly installment would be $3204 (1.88% interest) I am then able to drive the car for 9 years with $3204/mth for 9 years. That doesnt make sense after you count that the car is USED and may have certain wear and tear parts that require changing. Can someone elighten me on this?

Dear bros, i am new to the car industry and i hope fellow mcfers can advise me as i am planning to buy a 2nd hand Honda Civic from either a direct owner or from the dealer himself, anything i need to look out for? also can i convert it to OPC if its a normal plated car from the direct owner / dealer ? Hi all. I am looking to buy a volkswagen golf 2nd hand. 2 options 1st, paid 500 deposit, delivery within next week. Dealer bringing car down to VW for full servicing check. 2008 Nov, i.e. Mk5. 82k, 23600km mileage. Service so far so good. 2nd, dealer say car is consignment. Driver still driving it until 23rd, very hard to make appt to view car. probably impossible to bring car to VW for servicing check or any kind of check. Car is under Auto Passion, but dealer is under car times. Willing to accept 0 deposit, apply loan and insurance first. 85k, 2009 July (Mk6 facelift), 36000km mileage. Says that can put a clause which states if car is not under satisfactory conditions, i can choose not to buy the car. Both are volkswagen golf tsi. Advice needed. (probably urgent cos i got to decide fast) Thanks!

Hello, I am looking around for a MPV. Saw a Japanese MPV (Nissan Presage Highway Star) on sgcarmart by Yong Lee Seng. Called to ask and they told me Nov 06, COE about 13k, OMV 28K, mileage about 60K. Going for $66.8K. Any advice whether it is a good deal or okay deal? First time going for used car, what are the things to consider and to "squeeze"? don't want to get chopped

Some of the 1-2 years old car are having very low COE (< $10K), it is not worth buying those if dealer asking at market price. Any potential buyer should consider the low COE value if he is planning to use it for only 2-3 years.

Bros, contemplating between the 2. currently driving a year 2003 mazda 6. Like the car as it is reliable and has good handling. Drove a friend's Camry before too. Like the spaciousness and size. Between, price, not much a difference though i feel the Mazda 6 has more features than the Camry. Any thoughts ? Thanks

Hi peeps, I just got my used MIT colt plus. Mileage 57k++. Drives ok but got some vibration when idling at traffic lights. And also some cranking sounds when accelerating. Need suggestions from guys here, should I send my car to AD for full servicing (high price I think), or I can just send it to WS for full servicing? Any WS to suggest for good and trusted checks and servicing? Thanks

Hi guys, We know that the 2nd hand car paper value can be calculated, but how do you determine a fair body value? I was looking at this 2nd hand car in sgmart.com where the dealer quoted 78k. But paper value is only 41k. So how do I justify the 37k body value? Thanks

I was "inspired" by a friend who drove like that. He got his license way before me. So some time after passing driving test, has been driving like that and become second nature liao. Is really one handed, not awhile, but 99% of the time from once seated in the car to reach destination and leave the car. I guess a lot here also drive like that right? Please note that this is not haolian thread...just like my "barefoot thread", just wanna see the norm or peculiar way people drive.

Hi bros, I was looking around the 2nd hand auto-carmart when I realised that some cars, such as Camry or Mazda do not have have the imprinted 2L or 2.4L on their rear, In fact, there is only the brand's logo. Does this meant that the car had been rear-ended be4? You may take for eg Camry should have 2.4 and Mazda should have 2.0 inprinted behind. Appreciate your kind advice in advance.
