  1. Just for discussion sake. Can be any reasons why you prefer to own one over the other. Only comparing these 2 and not comparing with the JDM 4door CTR. Here's the specs copied from xxxxxxx Civic Type R Car Type 3 Door Hatch Cylinders 4 0-100 6.6 secs Gears 6 Capacity 1998 cc Valves 16 Top Speed 235 km/h Transmission Manual Engine Straight Weight 1267 kg Curb N.A Drivetrain FF Max Power 201 Bhp / 7800 rpm Max Torque 193 Nm / 5600 rpm Power to Weight N.A Bhp / Litre 100.6 bhp/litre Honda Integra Type R (DC5) Car Type Coupe Cylinders 4 0-100 6 secs Gears 6 Capacity 1998 cc Valves 8 Top Speed 239 km/h Transmission Manual Engine Straight Weight N.A Curb 1180 kg Drivetrain FF Max Power 220 Bhp / 8000 rpm Max Torque 206 Nm / 7000 rpm Power to Weight 186.44 Bhp / Litre 110.1 bhp/litre
  2. Can't find Honda integra in KM showroom, and even PIs also don't sell Honda integra is it EOL? or replaced by some other model
  3. This is an almost 2 year old ITS, parked outdoor almost 24/7 and washed weekly by the maid. Although it looked clean from a distance, a closer inspection reavealed hundreds of scratches on all the whole car. Worse to come were the three horizontal panels (bonnet, roof and boot) where there were plenty of watermark etchings. These panels required rotary compounding to minimise the watermarks while the side panels were spared the compounds, and IP with DA was used. As this is a black ride, I decided to apply CG's EZ creme glaze using DA wif grey pad and found that it gives an even wetter and darker result compared to hand application. Here's the process and pics. Enjoy 1) Wash n Clay 2) Rotary with lambswool (PG) on 3 horizontal panels 3) DA wif Orange LC pad n IP for whole car 4) DA wif White LC pad n PO106FF 5) DA wif Grey LC pad n CG's EZ creme glaze 6) M-Seal x 2 layers 7) CG's Spray Wax n Quick Detail to finish Here's some of the before's and after's: On the door: Door Handle: Roof: Boot: Bonnet:
  4. er.. which one you guys will go for?? RX8 engine better or the Type R?

  7. hi all, need ur opinion for a color to choose for the integra as will be going down to make a booking later. narrowed down to 3 colors Premium White Pearl Milano Red Satin Silver Metallic thanks
  8. The mods have begun.... First off, ARC Airbox! Same or slightly better low end torque, much better mid to high end rev! Has a low humming sound at idle, and a very sporting growl when beyond 3K rpm. IMO, well worth the upgrade. Air intake at side and rear: And a minor mod: G Speed pedals
  9. Lokturne

    Red Integra

I'll keep this short. If you want more, you know where to find it. Process: SSR2.5, AIO, Menzerna FMJ. FMJ was quite expensive, more so than Zaino but I heard good things about it. It didn't disappoint. I think I've got a new favourite sealant, as long as durability is as good as I hope. Easy to use and really enhanced the wet-look from AIO. I don't remember being this impressed. Ever. Wetness, depth and slickness from 1 layer of an LSP. Maybe it was meant to be. SSR2.5 is my favourite SMR and AIO my favourite all-round product. What a foam gun can do: Swirls before and after Poorboys SSR2.5: Also, my own car with 1 layer of Collinite #845IW (1 week old) Pretty wet-looking itself, and good depth, with sealant-like reflectivity. Durability is expected to be good, but slickness is average even for a carnauba wax.
  10. Recent report by Business Times - Integra #1 selling sports coupe in Q1. 132 registrations for Teg vs. Tuscani's 115 registrations. Last heard KM's Integra GSR at $88.5K (A). Decent performance with 160bhp - definitely better with superior handling than the Tuscani 2.0 - no wonder the switch.
  11. OK, sort of narrowed to these few options. Which one would you think would be a better fit to a Black Integra GSR? Thanks!
  12. Original 195/65/R15 on Integra GSR cannot make it. Want to do pre-shopping so that I can trade in the rims+tyres "new" on first day. Thinking of 225/45/R17 tyres, with 17x7.5 offset +42 to +45 for rims. What would you recommend? Enkei, Volks, Rays? Where, and approx cost? BTW, it's a Black Integra GSR, so rims colour should be silver (or bronze?). All opinions welcomed and appreciated!
  13. Hi All, I am thinking for buying a new car and i have narrowed down to two choices which is the Honda Integra Type S and the Subaru WRX. Went to both showrooms and this is what i gathered: 1. Integra Type S $93,500 with $1,500 cash rebate and free 1st year insurance up to $2000. 2. Rex $98,000 with $2000 cash rebate and free Open Cat. COE As prices of both are more or less the same, which is a better buy? (In terms of resale value, maintenance cost, petrol consumption, insurance etc) Any advice from owners or friend's friend who own either one of the cars? Thanks in advance.
  14. Saw on their price list today - akan datang 2.0 GSR i-vtec manual @ $93k.
  15. Some updates of the all new Integra RSX Type S....Sport verison over here, but very very common and cheap as well in Seattle......$20K and it's yours
