Hi all.., anyone know for sure what status for kpe speed limit? real? random? just warning? or ... just my opinion: 1. if real 70km. lta/ gov for sure need more then 2 bank account(to collect fine from the speeding) like i never miss see car use flog lamp on, i never miss been overtake in kpe even my odometer already 70km. and i'm sure not only 5-6 car overtake me in 70km, at least 10-15 car. imagine, how many car everyday use kpe? 2. if random. hm... is the random set by time? maybe: 7-10am on the speed camera 10-12am off 12-2pm on etc... or how... 3. just warning ticket? got few friend get ticket of speeding on kpe, but just warning. if it is warning, it is really make sense, why i never miss been overtake in kpe. any other opinion :)

Was waiting to enter Rocher Centre CP about 20mins ago when I was kissed lightly on the butt by an old merc. I alighted to check and saw the merc just 2 inches from my butt. Nothing wrong so I returned to my car. Feeling uneasy, I got down again to check after moving forward with the queue. This time I could squat and check more thoroughly. Lucky nothing wrong. What pissed me off is, the merc driver didn't even alight to check or apologise. WTF! :angry:

to the above question: To me, this is an unfair statement Firstly, opp are not paid 15K/mth to manage the constituency. They have their own jobs and livelihood to take care of. What can we expect them to do, lobby for policies actively? Anything non-elected opp do is out of their own free will and free time... they may be doing something, or not doing anything.. we cannot make any judgement on that... and hey.. they are not even "elected MPs"!! Elections is the best times to focus and reach out to the masses.. which other time can give one so much coverage? Secondly, media gives priority to the ruling party, so what can we expect? Thirdly, the Ruling party should be the one that is present, as they are earning 15K/mth to take care of our constituency, I, for one, have NEVER seen my MP or heard about the MP coming around or reach out in my neighbourhood...

Guys, it is not just only your vote... Talk to your parents, older relatives about election. Educate them about the secrecy of the vote. If they feel PAP is better, than vote for PAP. But don't vote for PAP out of fear.

Cause I recently went to a party at my friend's house. Took a can of Tiger beer (330m can not big one). I am just wondering can if be considered drink and drive? Cause I am somewhat sensitive to alcohol so my face did felt warm. It subside after around 1 hr (took some coke and plain water in the process as well). Left my house around 2hrs after I finish the can. I felt perfectly normal. However, I don't know how much alcohol is there in my blood. Thus I wonder if I can be consider drink and drive? The law only state the alcohol in the blood but never state how many cans you can drink. I just wonder would a can of beer cause anything?

Generally I allow cars that is about 3 car length away from me to pass before I filter. Most road user are nice, that I acknowledge and I say "Thank You, you make my day " For the minority, please don't get angry with me because you are too far away. You are 5 car length away from me so please just let me filter and by the time you speed up and come so close; I can even see your mole in your face. Does not makes sense for our blood to boil over, there is enough stress on the road already. For some who is unsure if you should speed up, as long as you are 2 to 3 car length from my car, please speed up and overtake me. I shall gladly filter behind you. I practice 10 sec rule estimated with the number of clicks on my dashboard signal. If you are 3 car length away and see my signal, when you don't move forward I assume that you allow me to filter in front of you. Of course, I am not saint myself in that I apologized when I filter in abruptly. I will try not to affect others when others affect me.......Thank you. -

It is reported tha the Sinkland gov is going to ahve a record breaking surplus for 2010!! Record breaking.....don't know really how much becos numbers here are always being twisted like words. Then why are the ppl harping over issues like .. Why the Sinkies are hard hit....and many would like to have Min wage.. Average Sinkie find it impossible to own a car?... Housing even public ones are at a all time high and increasing as I post this... Jobs are going to FTs... Medical cost for Sinkies are really really expensive. Many retiring or close to do so, are not going to get much if any all of their retirement money. The oldies are told to 'go on working'. The younger generation are slugging it out and abondoning their old folks is second nature to them... Marriage is but a licence to get a flat....a HDB flat that is... Divorce rate is going going for the record breaking numbers like their GDP! The richer ones are buying more posh stuff! Those running the place are getting salaries not heard of, even in the far off galaxy. Why is it so?

bad accident between a mazda and a lorry at a traffic light junction at eunos link just now. the mazda mounted kerb and knocked down a traffic light pole. front badly crushed. saw someone lying behind the traffic pole pole. the lorry also quite badly damaged. TP and ambulance at the scene. anyone here also saw the accident?
