I think you guys heard the new Proton Inspira , it look totally the same as Lancer If this car comes to singapore , Mitsubishi Lancer owners will be pissed off . -

Hi bros, Anyone heard if Lancer or Mitsubishi is having problems? I just called an agent and he said that he no longer work for them. Seems like sales is bad and maybe the supply is short due to Japan earthquake?? Any feedback is welcomed.

Hi to all bros, As per topic, should I sell my lancer EX? My lancer EX 1.5GLS is 1yr8mth old (Non sports edition, basic model, don't even have sports rims and leather seats). I bought it cheap when COE was just $2 and now a few irritating dealers are offering me $52k +/- and haunting me to sell them my car because I approached them for a quote few weeks ago. Thing is, I am half hearted because I kinda fall in love with my car already after 1 yr plus with it. Ive been taking such good care of it (polish every few months, wash myself every week, servicing it at agent etc) and I get decent milage/comfortable ride in return. With all the controversy on the upcoming proton Inspira taking the form of the Lancer EX, coupled with me starting to set my eyes on the facelift Forte Koup, I am wondering now weather I should take the plunge and go for it. Initially I was considering the Sirocco but decided against it because I do not want to be financially tied down by the car by taking a loan. My dad will also be against me buying the Roc so I guess the Forte Koup would be my next best choice. I do not have much criteria in a car, still a young chap with no family of my own so 2dr, 4 dr, fast, slow, anything goes as long as its decent to my eyes haha. Thanks for ur input in advance

Hi guys,there are mix opinion on Lancer MR,anyway I've been to the showroom last saturday @ C & C Ubi with my wife hoping to look at small kia car.But later intro buy the SE to take a look @ Lancer MR.I was so blown away with the sporty black design.As we approach to look inside,my wife was please with the leather car seat and a MR logo embroided on the two front seat.As I seat on the front wheel,I was amaze with the speedometer design and the auto gear as it was called sporttronic.I'm a new buyer still doing some reaserch . We sat down to do some calculation as it within our budget,we decide to give it a try and now waiting for our coe bidding to go through.We did test drive,it glide pretty well.I tried the gear,it was so applicable when I change to manual with just a slight push. As I drive manual van,this come handy to my liking in picking up gear.So,I really need a genuine opinion on this Lancer MR,hope you guys can help.Thanks By the way,have not seen any Lancer MR on the road yet? Hi there,need your opinion . With the short period of experience,I am sure there's alot more tips that you can share of the MR.Have you drive to Malaysia in the short period of collection of your MR?Do we need to run-in the engine before going for a long trip? How is the fuel consumption?I'm sure,in theory,auto pick-up can never match with manual.Have you tried the sportronic gear?What is the experience?Does it help to fufill the pick-up desire? What I like about the MR during the test drive, is the mix gear(auto & manual).I used to drive a manual,therefore,its kind of slow when I step the clutch but I cant judge much in the short period.The design look sporty especially the leather seats,speedometer,engine wise quite arrangeable and the price for a 1.6cc,quite affordable.I hope I have choose a good car for a beginner like me..thanks

had forgotten to off my hazard light after parking at the mscp beside nex and the car couldnt start after several hours. tried approaching several cars in the rain but to no avail. thx to this bro driving lancer glx 1184. he had his jumpstart cables wif him and helped me despite the rain. thanks alot bro! juz curious, how many of u has a set of jumpstart cable in ur car? think its time to invest in 1..

Sometimes I wish I have a wagon. So much of convenience when you need to carry additional items when out shopping, or moving house. So far I've only seen Evo wagons in Sg. Was just wondering, are we able to purchase the Lancer wagon via AD or PI? Special indent? New Proton Inspira: The Malaysian Lancer Officially Launched! Proton has officially unveiled its Mitsubishi Lancer-derived Inspira mid-sizer, after its soft launch to the public and media in late October. Since then Proton has received over 1,800 bookings from customers around Malaysia in anticipation of its market launch this month. PROTON would like to thank all those who have placed a booking for the Inspira and believe me, they will not be disappointed with the new generation of Proton cars coming their way."The Inspira uses Mitsubishi's existing 1.8 and 2.0 Liter MIVEC engines, the latter of which is only available with the CVT transmission. Hi lancer bro cureently I driving a lancer ex 1.5 series. I thinking of change my currently rims ''16'' to GT rims ''18'' that currently using by 2.0 lancer ex series. I been quote a price with 2nd hand rims (18 orginal lancer ex rim) and brand new tyres (Falcon tyres'') = $2100 RM but after the trade in with my old rim and some discount the owner willing to let go with $1900 RM. The main concern is that whether it is a good deal and I do understand of the petrol consuming due to the increase of weight of the rim but do anyone know will it really increase alot of just slight different and anything to take note before i change my new rims as the boss also provide balancing of wheel.
