Hi everyone, I'm facing some problems with my car. From P, when i shift to D, its often very stiff. And recently, when I shift to R, it doesn't even engage until 2-3 secs later. Not sure if its the transmission or the clutch having problems. Could ppl recommend me a garage that specializes in Transmissions/Clutches that can be trusted and won't chop me? haha!

Hi, I would like to see comments in the comparisons between the Lexus IS250 and BMW 325i or equivalent. I used to drive a BMW 316 since 8 years ago and this car always has small problems like battery related and rear lights bulb failure especially the latter of up to thrice per year. The objectives of this post is to garner first hand intelligence from the owners out there to compare the following:- 1) reliability (maintenance concern) 2) driving satisfaction (responsive and noise insulation) 3) safety 4) performance over say like 2 years later Thank you very much.

i notice alot of ppl reaction to like or praise is like u tio 4d or promoted from work. kenna dislike nia is like the whole world is falling. come on, what u say or your comment cannot be like by 100 % of the community right? giving dislike for a post that u dun like is part and parcel of this forum, ( at least till now, unless rules have been change) unless the ppl giving u a dislike start calling u names , if u receive any dislike, even if no name is given, u should not start calling him bad name, and start degrading him. i alway trash cyclist in the forum, i myself receive alot of dislike, i give my comment and view and debate with my own pov, we can have different view, but we do not call ppl name because of that.

dear all, Had a 3 days pass for the F1 but this is the first time going, lot of unsure thing that need to seek advise, as follow: a) what time i need to be sitted ? the race usually start during evening time? b) can i leave the place(or seat) and come back 1 hr later? c) where is the best place to park my ride? many thanks in advance....

The Gentlemen Movement campaign started in December 2013, but has only recently started making its rounds on social media. Their Facebook page describes the project as “a social initiative to cultivate and install road courtesy, patience and good driving habits in Singapore.” MP for Tampines GRC Baey Yam Keng has also thrown his support behind the movement. In a YouTube video released by the group, he said, "For the record, we are not doing this for the Government, any movement or any council." The movement aims to put a bow tie on one out of every 1,500 cars – there are more than 970,000 cars in Singapore – signifying the drivers’ intent to be more courteous on the road. The organisers are hoping to raise USD$15,900 (S$19,700) to help pay for the production of collateral for the movement. Have not seen it yet, anyone knows how much/where to buy?

Realised that the front blinking small LED blue lights was "off" unlike the earlier model installed just 1-2 mths ago. Actually i like the blinking lights as i feel that it warns the car in front of me that video is recording. Anyone know how to reactivate this blue LED lights to function while car is moving? The first unit is ok, full blinking LED lights both when park and when engine on/car in motion. -
Heard abt this recently. Good initiative to reduce fatality on SG roads. http://www.income.com.sg/AboutUs/Releases/2014/Jul01.asp Had seen many possibly young and inexperienced motorcyclist ride dangerously in our roads. Be safe. As motorist, lets watch out/give some space for their presence too.

Hi guys, i need some help. I am driving a 06 GS300 and saw on youtube that a device can be installed so that i can play songs directly from my iPhone. ANyone know where can i get it fixed and what is the cost?Tried Autobacs and few other shops but they don't have it. The car does not have a Aux point too. Else i can get something directly from apple. It looks like some device that is to be installed into the car so that i can play the music from the car speakers and can control from the steering wheel or from the phone. Thanks

Currently i am driving a GS300 but i find sedan boring. The only reason I bought it in the first place is the brand, the smoothness and quietness of engine and to try out luxury car. Now i tried driving a captiva in australia and love SUV(i have always love SUV). Like the height, the hugeness. As i am quite tall, SUV height is also more comfortable. Now i am in dilemma should i sell trade my GS for Captiva? Seems to be a downgrade. Any advice anyone?

However, I am wondering if there are cheaper less branded who can do a similar proper job of "service by the book"? Suggestions please. I live in central sg.

The new Lexus CT200h made its world debut at the recent Guangzhou Motor Show in China. But unlike other models within the Lexus family, the development project for the luxury hatchback is headed by Chika Keko - the first female Chief Engineer in the company. It has been three years since the CT was launched, and Keko has to ensure that the new car surpasses the standards set by its predecessor, which was the world's first compact luxury hatchback with a full hybrid drivetrain. Like the rest of the lineup, the CT receives the signature spindle grille, combining Lexus' L-finesse design philosophy of "incisive simplicity", "intriguing elegance" and "seamless anticipation". Keko also highlighted that structural rigidity of the new car was of paramount importance in the development process, so as to achieve a balance between handling and ride comfort. Unsurprisingly, the new CT reinforces the marque's commitment to craftsmanship and bespoke experiences. Keko added that a 'personal touch' was added in every little detail - from engineering components to the design elements. In line with her beliefs, the Chief Engineer currently drives a CT too. -
