Anyone of u bros installed exhaust finisher before? Are exhaust pipes used the same sizes for different capacity of same car models? I want to order this exhaust finisher from Nissan Japan but to my disappointment TC (Tan Chong) parts and accessories dept said nobody in japan or sg in nissan can verify whether the exhaust finisher that i want to order from Japan could fit my K12 March cos our local K12 are "SG specs". so if i want to order i will order at my own risk... -_-' The exhaust finisher i wanna order: [inline "exhaust1.jpg"] Does any bros here owns/owned a K11 or K12 before and know if its using the straight exhaust? Base on the pic, the bend exhaust is for 1.2L and the straight one is for 1.4L But my SG K12 comes with a bend exhaust... The prices of both are quite different, straight one is $55 n bend one is $155. Anyway, why the price difference so much? Any advantage or disadvantage? I like the straight one more but I doubt the straight one can fit my bend exhaust. But I am worry that even if I order the bend exhaust finisher also cannot fit my march. Any ex or current March riders here btw?

Anybody can share more infos on New Zealand trip? I've intended to go there on a package trip either end Feb or during March 08. Any advise? I would like to knw abt the weather as well.

asking on behalf of a friend.. does anyone knows where to tap the rpm signal from a nissan march (k12 model)? Need to wire up a pro gauge tachometer. i tried 2 diagrams (apexi rsm and pivot shift lamp) but both pointed to different wires on the ecu (in engine bay) and both are wrong. Also tried all pin on the ODB connector but also can't work. Thanks in advance!

Date : 27th March 2007 ( Tuesday) Time : 0735 ~ 0745 I will like to did any of one see this incident. I was on my way to way travelling the PIE towards Tuas. There is a traffic light outside the fire station for emergency use to facilitate the ambulances or fire trucks to move out of the station...those who use this stretch of road in the morning will know how congested it can be. As I approached the fire station coming from Jurong side, the traffic light was switched on to "Amber" and to "Red"...Vehicles from both side of the road came to a halt...instead of hearing siren screaming or seeing fire truck or ambulances coming out of the station. A bright red car (looked like a Honda Integra) came out from the guard house , turned right and move off towards the direction of PIE towards Changi Airport's direction. Did any of the fellow driver here experience it..or at least came to a halt outside the fire station....cos there was easily dozen of vehicles on both side of the road stopping. There wasnt any flashing beacon on top of the car and neither was the hazard light on. I could only see the driver wearing more like civilian clothing instead of uniform. My vehicle was just one car away from the yellow junction box..so could see quite clearly. -

Hi all, COE bidding again. For this round: 1) Last COE exercise before the new and smaller COE quota kick in. 2) A lot of people did not get their COE last round. 3) GST will be increase to 7% in July. So, how much COE would be for Cat A, B and E?

I feel that COE will remain high and might go above $13 000. ADs are looking at above $15k on the next few COE's bidding from some discussions we had...wonder how true. Wat do u think ?

This for sure means that COE will be on up trend but the big Question will be up by how much. This COE is 2nd last COE bidding exercise before new COE quota start in April, the problem is till now, no news on how big/small is the new quota As usual, anyone want to make a bet on Cat A, B and E?

Altis price up $3K Vios price up $4K ... even before COE bidding results are out on 7th March I am quite surprised at the sky high prices of these 2 old models due for replacement soon this year. Better alternative is to consider Daihatsu cars which are way cheaper and uses Toyota engines too. Toyota owns Daihatsu. What is your experience with March School Holidays as far as jams at checkpoints and NSH go? When is it bad? (i.e. more than 30 mins to clear both sides) Going North Fri night (last day of school)?? Sat morn?? Sat aft? Coming Back Sat night? Sun morn? Sun aft? Sun night?

Gona collect my ride somewhere this week.. its a 8yr old nissan march (black) and man am i excited about my first car! left with 2 years to drive but am probably gona drive it longer than that. am toying with the idea of some mods.. anybody with any recommandations ? looking at a new gear stick (is that how they call it?) and also blue led lights at the bottom of the car (yes i know its illegal). anybody knows around how much will it cost and where can i get it done ? help will be much appreciated.

Went to test drive the Nisan March today and it caught me by surprise that the car was very slow in downshifting when I floored the accelerator. Was behind a very slow Sunny travelling along Bt Timah Rd at 40km/h ion extreme left lane. I followed behind it for some distance before deciding to overtaking it. Rd behind was clear, so I signaled and floored the accelerator, with gear in 'D'. Nothing happened. Car did not pick up speed nor downshift. I was stunned. It was only after about 3 seconds later that the auto tranny downshifted. This can be potentially dangerous if the driver needs to overtake on the highway or if there's fast moving traffic behind. Do Nissan March owners experience this or could the test drive car be a lemon? Anwyay, the salesgirl told me that I get better response of I turned off the OD or downshift the auto tranny manually. But this shd not be be the case. Car shd downshift automatically without much hesitation when accelerator is floored. Even the PIcanto 1.1A downshifted without hesitation when I floored the accelerator. How could a 1.4L Nissan March not do the same?
