The two-door hatch is the result of Nissan giving the team full reign to design a car they would like to drive on London's streets. Flared fenders, deep front and side air intakes, and a roof-mounted rear spoiler give the 20-23 a compact, ultra-sporty appearance. This is probably the most civil confrontation I’ve ever seen, while keeping a mildly aggressive edge. What happened? A confrontation took place at Defu Lane when an uncle did not park properly. The video immediately opens with the person behind the camera asking “How many lots did you park in?” in Chinese. Credit to the uncle, he asked the person recording to follow him to his parking spot, saying “I don’t want to argue”. The aggrieved recorder however was still upset, as he could not open his door due to how he parked. The uncle maintained a very calm attitude, maintaining his refusal to argue by coming to his spot. How easy is it to get a motorcycle license? Whoever’s in charge might want to up the difficulty if this rider was able to pass. What happened? On 17 April yesterday, a motorcyclist and their passenger hit a Nissan NV350 while changing lanes on the Pan-Island Expressway. Yeah, ‘big whoop’, I hear you say, but what gets me is how avoidable this was. Another biker was able to continue in that same lane with no issues. You could argue it’s that other biker’s fault, since they passed them right before they were about to change lanes. But they were still facing the road and so could see that this biker was going way faster than them. There was also enough distance to see that there was plenty of time to slow down. However, if you look at the Nissan, notice how it accelerated before slowing down as well. Yet even once it slowed down, there’s a solid two seconds before our main biker hit the Nissan with no signs of braking. Regardless of external factors, bro does not know what braking is. As a result, both rider and pillion took a rough fall. Both of them were not wearing riding gear and rolled a couple times. Yikes. With Good Friday around the corner, here’s a wholesome story about treating strangers with compassion and kindness! What happened? During a downpour yesterday in the east side of Singapore, this cam car caught a heartwarming encounter that even the most cynical of us can appreciate and smile upon. At the junction of Joo Chiat and Still Road, a primary school boy was caught in the rain with no shelter or protection from the harsh rain. We can see the torrent of the rain from the thick splashes on the cam car’s windshield. A fine drizzle, this was not. The boy was seen pacing around while waiting to cross the road, presumably due to the cold. The Nissan van driver in front of the cam car saw this, and exited with an umbrella in hand. The driver passed the umbrella to the student before rushing back inside the van. Online chatter The comments were united in praising the uncle for his kindness, some hoping to see him rewarded somehow in the future. Most recently, Nissan took aim at Toyota's RAV4 hybrid indicating the fuel economy ratings on the popular small SUV are exaggerated. Case in point, the Nissan X-Trail e-Power uses a gasoline engine to recharge the onboard lithium-ion battery and gets an estimated 6.1 liters per 100km, or about 38.6 mpg. By comparison, the Toyota RAV4 uses a conventional hybrid system that delivers an estimated 4.7 liters per 100 km, or the equivalent of 50 mpg, a fuel economy increase of about 30 percent. Nissan indicates that the fuel economy differences between the two vehicles are not as far apart as the estimates suggest and believe the real-world performance is closer. "I think with the fuel economy, it's a tricky one. We'll leave it in your hands to do the real-world testing. But from a lot of the articles I've seen for RAV4 Hybrid, you can't get anywhere near 4.8 (liters per hundred kilometers)," says Aleksandar Pecanac, Nissan Australia's product manager for X-Trail. Nissan goes on to claim that its X-Trail e-Power system delivers a superior driving experience. According to Adam Robertson, deputy director of the Nissan Technical Center in Europe, the X-Trail drives "More like an EV, and we know from our experience with EVs that customers love it." Robertson goes on to say, "EVs have the highest level of satisfaction for acceleration, and that's not just the outright performance for a car like the Porsche Taycan. That's all EVs. "We also know that traditional hybrids have the lowest satisfaction. We wanted to capture the customer experience that they really like and bring that in with e-Power." The Nissan X-Trail e-Power launched last fall in Japan and Europe as an electrified version of the Rogue. The automaker has not yet indicated if and when it will bring the e-Power version of the Nissan Rogue to the US. Currently, Nissan's US website only mentions the e-Power on the Nissan Leaf.

While it look more like a facelift of the 5th gen Serena (C27), this actually a brand new model from Nissan, and it is now available in 3 drive train options: petrol only, petrol hybrid and ePower (EV). The gasoline version uses a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine with 150 horsepower (110 kilowatts) and 200 Newton-meters of torque offered with or without all-wheel drive and a CVT. There's also a hybrid e-Power model (2WD only) with a new and quieter 1.4-liter engine producing 98 hp (72 kW) and 123 Nm. Combined with the electric motor, the total system output is 163 hp (120 kW) and 315 Nm.

There’s no way that this van was adhering to said speed limit. Doing so sends the van out of control on the wet road (it’s raining, by the way). It then proceeds to hit the side railings before overturning dramatically on the CTE. A recipe for disaster I have no idea what the driver was thinking. It was raining, and the ground was wet. Visibility could not have been that great. The speed limit for goods vehicles is 70km/h. There are days where I am rushing to go somewhere and would like to take a short cut or step on the pedal. However, this Nissan Sylphy driver took the urgency to another level. before the straight road there is a left turn arrow behind. But after watching 421 times of the clip, I still cannot comprehend how did he maneuver until it got stuck in the pedestrian path. Possibly, if each driver practices this rule - Take a look at the Honda Civic that managed to stop in time with the 2-second rule employed by the driver. The company shared the goal when unveiling its prototype production facility at the Nissan Research Center in Kanagawa Prefecture. The prototype production facility will also be the site for studies on materials, design and manufacturing processes. A pilot production line at its Yokohama Plant is planned for 2024. Nissan believes all-solid-state batteries will be a game changer as they boast twice the energy density of lithium-ion batteries. In addition, all-solid-state batteries have significantly shorter charging time and incur lower production costs. The company claims all-solid-state batteries can reduce prices of battery packs to $75 per kWh in 2028, and to $65 per kWh thereafter. The company announced in November 2021 that it will spend $18 billion over the next five years to accelerate the electrification of its offerings. It also announced four new electronic concept vehicles.

We are quite sure many out there can notice the distinctive smell of a brand-new car. For Nissan customers and enthusiasts out there, that smell is the work of Ryunosuke Ino and his team at the Vehicle Interior Air Quality department of Nissan Technical Centre in Japan. As a smellmaster (or Nose of Nissan), Ryunosuke who has been with Nissan for 20 years has been tasked to evaluate and monitor the odour within new vehicles manufactured by the company. In a short video that Nissan released earlier this month, he pointed out that Nissan believes that smell is a highly critical factor to deliver comfort. The video also showed that his job goes beyond sitting on the vehicle’s seat and just sniffing the air around its interior. As part of the Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) evaluation process, Ryunosuke and his team also sniff various parts within the vehicle’s cabin including the headrest, dashboard, mirror, glove compartment, visor, ceiling, cupholder, carpet, and even the seats themselves. The evaluation process also takes place in a special testing room whereby the team can tune the lighting system and air circulation to simulate the various level of heat, humidity, and sunlight. This way they can evaluate the odour at different levels of ambient temperature. Interesting enough, Nissan also has smellmasters in other technical centres throughout the world such as Europe and North America to make sure that the odour within Nissan vehicles is tuned to the respective markets. Not surprisingly, Nissan is not the only one that has a team dedicated to car smells. Stellantis, the parent company of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and PSA Group also has a panel of experts that keep track of new-car smell for the automobile group who has a long list of brands under its wings including Fiat, Peugeot, Dodge, Jeep, Alfa Romeo, and Maserati. D. This sighting occurred along the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE), in the wee hours of the night. The witness who recorded the video said he was driving along the AYE when he almost rear-ended the abandoned, stationary van. He proceeded to stop his vehicle behind the stationary van to inspect and offer help (supposedly) to the van driver. Upon inspection, the van was found to have sustained significant damages to the driver's door and the windshield, which deployed its airbags. What was most puzzling was that the van driver was nowhere to be found, and the van's engine was still running! Furthermore, there was no sign of collision between the van and another vehicle. How strange... What It Looks Like NGL, this looks as though an alien spaceship came down to abduct the van driver. Heck. It even looks as though the van driver faded into dust from Thanos' snap. Woman Somehow Walks Away From Folded Car In Shocking Semi-Truck Crash Incredible. No, scratch that. This is beyond incredible. We aren't talking about the severity of the crash, though it's not every day you see a car literally folded in half and crushed by a semi-truck. There was a woman in that car, and she's not dead. In fact, she crawled from the car with hardly any injuries at all. So yeah, what's beyond incredible? Whatever it is, that's what we're dealing with here. This crash happened the morning of November 16, on Interstate 5 in Mount Vernon, north of Seattle in Washington State. According to The Seattle Times, traffic was slowing down on the Skagit River Bridge when this Red Nissan was hit from behind by a semi-truck. There was also a semi in front of the car, and the collision caused the rear of the Nissan to fold over. The semi from behind came to a rest on top of the car. The report says a 46-year-old woman was inside, and looking at the pictures in the Twitter post above would have anyone thinking the worst. Washington State Trooper Rocky Oliphant took the photos and relayed information on Twitter, at first calling it a serious injury accident. But then the semi was lifted from the car, and Oliphant says the woman crawled out under her own power. She reportedly complained of minor pain in her head and ribs, and went to the hospital for further observation. We say it again ... beyond incredible. In his Twitter posts, Oliphant says he's never seen anything like this in 14 years on the job. In The Seattle Times report, he points out the manner in which the car folded could explain how the driver escaped serious injury. The back served as a buffer, protecting the passenger compartment while also giving the semi something of a ramp to slide on. While the crash certainly wasn't lucky, he goes on to call the driver the "luckiest unlucky person." Straight up, this crash is legit spooky. Obviously we're thrilled that the driver escaped with just minor injuries, but we keep coming back to one very basic, haunting question: How? Some would say this steps into the spiritual or supernatural realm, and you know what? Looking closely at these images, we wouldn't disagree. Stay safe out there everyone.

In an interview over Zoom from the Lebanese capital Beirut on Tuesday, Ghosn justified his escape from Japan, calling it a way of speaking out against the accusations against him. "The whole thing was a joke but [Nissan] thought they would get away with it because I couldn't speak," he said. "But they never thought that I would get out of Japan, and then I would be able to talk. And now the battle is completely different." "That's what makes me extremely motivated to continue this battle for as [long] as it takes to get back my rights from Nissan, and also from Renault." Ghosn added that he wanted to "contribute to the change, or the evolution of the hostage justice system in Japan." Ghosn is charged with underreporting his pay and aggravated breach of trust. He is accused of underreporting his compensation by conspiring with executives to pay himself 9.1 billion yen ($87 million) upon his retirement. He denies any wrongdoing and fled Japan in December 2019 while out on bail awaiting trial. In July, a Tokyo court sentenced the U.S. Army Special Forces veteran Michael Taylor and his son Peter to prison sentences for helping Ghosn escape.
