Guys, Saw this sign earlier (and many similar ones peppered around the place), off at a open air carpark near the Bukit Timah food centre & Market.There are white lots and red lots ( with the usual warnings on the road). Interestingly, many cars waited / parked at the white lots despite many available red lots. Thus i conclude that they are not season holders.and they didnt put any parking coupons. poor english or bo chup ? and for the record, i did put my parking dues. mice

Hi All, Where could you purchase parking coupons by using credit cards? Normally at the petrol kiosk the staff expect me to pay separately by Cash or NETS if I were to purchase for petrol. I wonder supermarket like Shengsiong, NTUC, Giant do they sell parking coupons & can pay by credit cards.

I was looking around for a used car and the car salesman said HDB will not chase offenders for parking fines.. I checked and saw that some cars has multiple fines dating back 3yrs not paid.. Strange..

Hi bro and sis, My scenario is: I just went through HDB cashcard parking system at boon keng without cash card in and out. I forgot to insert in. When I come out of the gantry, there was a "TEEE" on my erp unit and then i went off after the plank lift up. I caught a glace from the display, only the bottom part. It says pls insert cashcard. My question is: 1)Will i get fined via letter? 2)Why did the plank lift up if one doesn't have the cashcard in it? 3)There was an allowance of 10 min/ sunday free parking, is it if within these limits , we can go in and out without cash card? Hi all, as I'm going to take ferry to desaru for a holiday, I'm thinking whether to park my car at the changi ferry terminal (not tanah merah ferry terminal). I'm concerned about the safety aspects. Anyone has experience of parking there? I'm thinking, if I don't drive,would I have difficulty getting a cab when I return to sg? Thanks in advance to any advice!

hi anyone using the monthly parking coupon? i read from HDB website it only usable in carpark whcih allow usage of coupon parking. does it mean those EPS HDB/URA carparks cannot use??? thanks!!

I read from the websites that parking offences seem to be under the purview of HDB and URA. So how does the traffic police fit into the picture? Apologies if this question is too stupid... -
..........but any member can assist to recommend parking going to Harry's @ Tampines Grande ? called them only to learn that they have got no private parking spaces.....not so sek on Tampines area therefore hoping not to have to turn come-turn go, go up-go down, especially at night

Alright bros.. My gf's HDB cluster carpark gonna convert to EPS system soon.. The thing is, her cluster's carpark is "Season Only" after 10:30pm.. And many times, i send her home after 10:30pm.. So the question is, can non-season holder enter the carpark (barrier will open or not) after 10:30pm? Cos it doesn't make sense not allowing someone to enter for drop-off.. And if i can enter, i assume there will be a grace period of 10 mins.. what if i exceed the 10 mins?

I've gotten a car battery charger recently, and was wondering. Besides bringing the battery home and recharging it, is there any carparks in Singapore which can allow me to use their electric socket (beside the lot) legally? Any ideas?

about 1-2 years back, i encountered something similar with a LTA enforcement officer. I stopped at a roadside with engine and hazard light on to pass an envelope to my client who was waiting at the pedestrian walkway. My back was facing my car less than 2 metres away, this LTA enforcement officer(outsourced type) suddenly came by and immediately stopped his bike in front of my car and started keying into his handheld system. My client told me about it and i quickly approached him. This is all less than maybe 1 min? I spoke to the officer very nicely, saying my engine and hazard light was on, i was just beside the car. I ask if he saw me beside the car, he replied yes. Then why am i summoned for parking? TRAFFIC ACT CHAPTER 276: “PARK” means to bring a motor vehicle or a trailer to a stationary position and cause it to wait for any purpose other than that of immediately taking up or setting down persons, goods or luggage. He just smile back at me sarcastically and asked me to go and try to appeal. Then i took a video with him admitting that i was beside the car and HE SAW ME THERE. (since he asked me to appeal, i want to have some evidence to back up my story) I wrote in to appeal but rejected with the following reason "We have consulted the involved officer and that an offence have been committed." This is with me stating that i have all the photo and video evidences of the said incident. I was really busy that period, i did not follow up and just paid the fine. It is not about the money, but you should have seen the look on that guy face...
