  1. Finally found it after so many years. Lost more or less 20k on this game. Spent my primary, secondary school pocket money and holiday job money on this. Free to install. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dzwf.race
  2. This is probably not your everyday car nor is it going to be setting any track records. But it is, by far, one of the coolest vehicles ever produced in recent years. The Ford Raptor debuted in 2010 as a SuperCab model with 310bhp, 5.4-litre V8 as a truck that is built to travel off-road at speeds that will break normal trucks. Since then it has been upgraded to a 6.2-litre V8, with 411bhp and 588Nm of torque and is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. As with the 2010 version, the 2013 F-150 SVT Raptor is also available in a four-door SuperCrew model. With the introduction of the 2013 model, it features industry-first, direct-from-the-factory forged-aluminum conventional wheels that can be upgraded after purchase to extra-capable beadlocks. Beadlock wheels secure the edges of a tyre to the wheel between two surfaces so the tyre is unlikely to roll off the rim if it's aired down to very low pressure, providing extra grip on the trail. For 2013, SVT Raptor adds a new 4.2-inch multifunction LCD screen for the MyFord

  4. If you're a fan of cars and races, I bet you would love to play GRID 2, a racing game developed by Codemaster. The game is set to hit the shelves in over a month's time now. That said, it isn't hard to see why the developers are keeping their lips sealed tightly. However, it seems like they just can't resist giving us some insights into the multiplayer aspect of the game, which is quite interesting, I would say. The multiplayer mode (shown in the accompanying video) in the game is a good way of showing off your racing skills to 11 other competitiors on the same track as you. Imagine the feeling of being able to defeat all 11 other racers on the track, it's just a feeling nothing can replace, ah, how nice
  5. Are you an owner of a VW Scirocco? Does yours look any cooler than this one? This tuned VW Scirocco has been spotted in China quite recently. But why the VW Scirocco? Well, it's probably because in China, they say that this particular model from the German automaker Volkswagen is often fancied by Chinese young men with tight pants. So, while the body of the car retains its originality

  10. The video you're about to see was filmed in this year's Stockholm Open, last weekend. Lot's of speed, lot's of smoke and burnt rubber are for free! The cup was won by a blown Camaro which faced off against another Camaro. The winner received a trophy and bragging rights until next year's run. So until then enjoy!
  11. Guys, Did not manage to find a marketplace in this discussion so if this is not appropriate in this segment, please feel free to move it. Selling my rims for my previous 159, on road for 2 weeks (<400km, scratch-free) before I replaced them and had been gathering dust in my garage for the past year. 13. LONDON: Following almost a year of tough negotiations, Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone insisted on Monday that his Formula One Management (FOM) company had agreed terms with organisers to stage the Singapore Grand Prix for another five years after the current contract expires in September. Mr Ecclestone's remarks - made in an exclusive interview with TODAY in the British capital - came just hours after Second Minister for Trade and Industry S Iswaran told Parliament that negotiations between race promoter Singapore GP and FOM were "still ongoing". Mr Ecclestone, 81, told this newspaper that all obstacles preventing the deal from going through have been resolved and that the timing of the official announcement of the contract renewal will be decided and made by the Singapore Government. An option for two more races until 2014 - after this year's edition from Sept 21 to 23 - would have kicked in had FOM and the Singapore authorities decided to walk away from the negotiating table. "Everything that was in the way of the Singapore Grand Prix continuing for another five years has been cleared," said Mr Ecclestone, chief executive officer of F1 commercial rights holder FOM. "I'm happy that this is out of the way because Singapore has been good to F1 and the night race has also been equally good for Singapore." Earlier on Monday, in a written reply to a question by Holland-Bukit Timah GRC Member of Parliament Liang Eng Hwa, Mr Iswaran also reiterated that Singapore will continue to host the race "only if the terms for a full five-year extension are economically viable". "We hope to see a mutually agreeable outcome soon," he had added. Over the weekend, Singapore GP executive director Michael Roche told reporters that money was at the centre of talks to renew the current contract. Despite being snowed under with work after Sunday's British Grand Prix, which was also attended by Singapore negotiators, Mr Ecclestone was keen to reassure that all was well with Formula 1's only night race. Said Mr Ecclestone: "It has always been my intention to see that this race in Singapore continues beyond our current deal. Now that the negotiations are finally over, I am looking forward to go to Singapore for this year's event because I've always enjoyed it." First held in 2008 on the 5.073 km Marina Bay street circuit, the rights fee to stage the Singapore Grand Prix is believed to have cost Singapore organisers US$35 million initially, and after yearly increases, peaked at about US$42 million last year. It cost another S$150 million to prepare for each race, and 60 per cent - or S$90 million - of that amount is footed by the Singapore Government. A feasibility study to review the benefits of continuing with the race here beyond the first agreement was conducted by authorities after the 2010 edition. It revealed that in the first three years, the night race raked in a total of more than S$420 million in tourism receipts, while an average of more than 110,000 international visitors came to Singapore annually. In terms of global reach, the race also attracted a total of 300 million television viewers worldwide. - TODAY

  15. Turn 10 studios the developers of the well received Forza Motorsport series of games have allowed gamers and motor-heads to experience some of the best pieces of metal and cylinders on some of the finest of the race tracks, the latest being Forza 4. Now the Forza franchise is heading in a new direction. Forza Horizon, was officially announced at the E3 convention in Los Angeles. Developed together with Britain's Playground Games, known for producing games like GRID and DiRT, Forza Horizon heads into Need For Speed turf. Turn 10 Studios describes the Horizon as an action racing game. "Action racing is all about pick-up-and-play fun. This game has been designed so that if you love driving cars fast, if you love smashing through stuff, weaving in and out of traffic, you're going to be able to jump right in and have fun straight away,"says the developers. "What Horizon brings to the genre is authenticity, that's what Forza stands for. In the past there's been a problem with open road driving games in that they can feel a little arcadey. The problem with arcadey games is that the cars all start to feel the same. That doesn't work for Forza. In Forza the car is the star." The Horizon Festival The main part of Forza Horizon is the Horizon Festival. Its basically a Sims: Auto Fetstival DLC together with Facebook so to speak - A virtual place for car enthusiasts to gather. A mecca for car lovers. Besides hanging out with your car enthusiast buddies, you can race in festival competitions to further your careers, with events becoming more and more difficult. Just like in Forza Motorsports, any races can be done in individual mode or in online multiplayer mode. From the track to the open road For the most part, Forza Motorsport is on the racetrack. In Forza Horizon, you get to the open road. For inspiration the developers turned to the mountain roads of Colorado where they spent four months taking photos and videos to create the virtual world of Horizon, which has been polished to make sure that it's a fun driving experience wherever you go. Also for the first time players can drive off-road, among 65 other surface types in the game. Getting excited already? What if I mentioned you can also race at night, and AI traffic will be present on the open roadways, with some yet-to be announced special races as well. Looks like Forza is extremely inspired by the NFS Blockbuster, the Hot Pursuit which was developed by Criterion games, the guys who did Burnout. Kinect will also play a part for the voice-activated GPS system. Developers found the game's roads to be so expansive that the GPS system will direct players where to go and guide them to their next race or mission. The cars The full Forza Horizon car list won't be announced until later this summer, but the teaser gives us a bleak idea. The new 2013 SRT Viper will definitely be included, well it is featured on the cover art. So essentially what they are developing is the lovechild of Forza/Grand Turismo and Brunout/Need For Speed. Actually, what Turn 10 is really developing is an alternative to NFS:Shift and NFS: Shift Unleashed. I'm a bit of a gamer, and I've tried all the games mentioned here, and being a motornut, I cannot wait for the Forza Horizon. Forza Horizon will be on sale October 23rd.

  17. Dear friends, I am 57 years old and owning a Mitsubishi Lancer CS3 1.6L CVT engine which I bought in Jan 2006, highly tuned and has clocked only 51,000km. The mileage is very low cos it's use by my wife and I have another higher capacity car. In mid March this year when the mileage was 47,000, I got it serviced at a workshop and the boss highly recommended me OWS Uber Power NA Racing Engine Oil and told me that it is very good and suitable for all NA cars. He claimed that this oil would deliver better power and guaranteed fuel saving of 5%. Well, the printing on the engine oil metal can also stated a guaranteed 5% fuel saving. As there is no rating such as 5W-30 on the can, I asked the workshop boss about it and he told me that he doesn't know. As I have never use the above OWS engine oil before, I took his recommendation, changed the engine oil with the above OWS engine oil, flushed the engine with OWS products and changed oil filter which I paid $170.00. Prior to using this oil, I was using SpeedMaster engine oil and KF Massimo both synthetic oil and from Japan for each service and the car was very responsive and torquey. I was achieving relatively good mileage for 50L full tank and been using BRISK Premium LGS spark plugs (the one with 4 pins) for 10,000km. While the car was on OWS Uber Power NA Racing Engine Oil, I already felt that the engine sounds hollow and I thought that it could be due to certain admixtures of the oil. About a month ago, I noticed that I was getting at least 15% less mileage for 50L full tank and the engine sounds rather harsh as compared to before. Last week, I brought the car to a mechanic friend who owns a motor repair and servicing workshop and told him the above problems. From mid March 2011 till last week which is 5 months, the car only clocked 4,000km using OWS Uber Power NA Racing Engine Oil and I already encountered the above problems. My mechanic friend initially thought that it could be the sparks plugs. He took them out and found that the plugs are still in good condition. He checked all the engine parts and found nothing wrong and even jacked up my car to check on any engine oil leak but found none. He then asked me what engine oil I used and I told him OWS Uber Power NA Racing Engine Oil. He straight away told me that the oil is not suitable for all cars as there is no rating at all. While at his workshop, I got the engine oil changed to FK Massimo. My car is now much lighter, more responsive at pick up and over-taking, engine is quite, smooth and beginning to achieve the mileage that I used to get before using OWS Uber Power NA Racing Engine Oil. As OWS manufacturer has printed on the engine oil can guaranteeing 5% saving in fuel consumption but I was getting worse mileage, I wrote to the manufacturer but they have yet to reply to me. I have just written to OWS Singapore distributor and requested his reply on the problems that I encountered. For those of you who are using or have used OWS Uber Power NA Racing Engine Oil, may I have your feedback on this oil. Thanks. Mike

  20. The V8 Supercars Championship is a touring car racing event that takes place in Australia and some of the races are held overseas. Currently, only Ford and Holden participate in the championship. But come 2013, Japanese automaker giant Nissan will take part in the abovementioned event. Nissan is the first auto manufacturer to be included in the sport under the Cars of the Future plan. The Cars of the Future was conjured up in 2010 to make the racing series more affordable for existing racing teams and also pave way for the inclusion of other manufacturers. The news of Nissan participating in the racing series was announced on 09 February 2012 in Melbourne and the Japanese automaker will start racing in the series in the 2013 season. The racing team, Kelly Racing has signed with Nissan to become the company
  21. Back in September last year, there was a news report about thirteen supercars impounded in British Columbia, Canada for their involvement in street racing. The drivers of these cars have to pay a $196 fine plus an impound fee. On top of that, they might get their driving license suspended. Apparently, an eye witness informed the local police about these drivers late night activities. Two of the cars would block off a stretch of a road and the rest would do the racing. Some of the drivers involved were students from an exclusive boarding school and some did not even have driving licenses. In Canada, there are strict laws regarding street racing and dangerous driving and if found guilty of these charges, the authorities have the right to confiscate the cars and sell them off. Before I continue, here is the list of supercars that were impounded. 3 Lamborghini Gallardo 2 Nissan GTR 2 Maserati GranTurismo 1 Audi R8 1 Aston Martin DB9 1 Ferrari 599 1 Mercedes Benz SL63 AMG 1 Mercedes Benz SLS AMG Just after the impoundment was made, the local police have slapped them with only traffic charges (fines and a temporary seizure) as there was little evidence. But five of the car owners have been indicted due to evidence from an eye witness. The British Columbia Civil Forfeiture Office have decided to take further action by commencing in a civil action to confiscate the cars under Canada
