Caught a glimpse of a White-Throated Kingfisher in my banana plantation this morning. Taken from my older Fujifilm F31fd 6.3 megapix compact cam. A bit dark cos it was taken behind a heavily tinted window. Dun wanna use flash cos it will scare away the bird. Kinda strange cos nearby there is no drain/pond/river to fish. Upon Google the bird actually eat insects, small lizards and small snakes. Chiak chua.

it happened at KPE towards the city direction and i was driving at lane 1 heading towards PIE(Tuas). when it was about to reach the exit,i signalled to switched into lane 2 and i saw a car quite far away(about 4 cars length) so thinking nothing of it,i filter in as usual.but to my surprise,the driver actually high beem at me and i continue my drive and filter into lane 3 to exit.but the "evil side" of me wanted to "test" the driver's reaction. this time,i filter into lane 2 again(he/she was about 4-5 cars distant).omg,he/she blasted his horn that the whole tunnel could hear it and it was a few time horning. then i repeated again before going to exit and he/she blasted even more furiously.i was laughing deep in my heart that he/she looks like a fool. upon approaching the exit,i ease my pedal and i knew he/she wanted to catch up and take a glimpse. you know what he/she did? he/she keep pressing the horn a few times just to attract my attention(we were 2 lanes away now) but i did not even bother to take a glance. and i felt sibei song that he/she must be very angry and act like a fool. what a rare driver? i can't understand what the driver is trying to prove/show?

According to the track manager, in his 20+ years working at the track, he has not encountered anything like this. Usually is ppl bang wall, tyre puncture or other whatnots. Post pic first. Later let the owner come in tell story himself.

Since the CNY is round the corner, and hv a bit of time in the office, I thot I will share some photos with fellow sporeans. Photos taken at my apartment's garden.. Longest running snow (3days, 3 nites) since 1964.. Heaviest snow storm (14cm thick) since 1991.. I slipped and fell last nite outside my home , damn bloody cold, ice kachang everywhere...

Never really notice it around untill recently. have seen about 3 of them. the front looks like the old stream and its a hatch-back with civic behind. its a 4 door so its not ek9. what model is it? why is it like so uncommon in singapore?
