For all the Chevy kiasu cheapos out there. The oil is a 40wt oil. Confirm in line with the manual. Costs only $35.90 for 5L! Grab it from Giant quickly. Very little left. Also teach you all to watch the other folders in MCF and not just here for Chevy news. There are lots of kangtaos floating in the forums. Rated SJ and CF. Confirm can use. ACEA A3 and B3 rated. Dunno which year. If A3(2002), damn worth it man! They advertize on the bottle that it will stay in grade. So it could be A3(2002).

1. Not a bad car to own considering the price and stock level. In term of safety the let down is single airbag and the light-weight doors. Afterall, its more Japanese than Conti with the Madza 323 engine. 2. The RS model looks even more Japanese with the loud spoiler and the body kit. 3. Laser is generally a proven car in our tropical climate. The SE I know in RM, owned one Laser and Focus. 4. If you have a 70K budget for a 1.6L car with decent space, this one is worth looking at. Hi all...i am looking for a car decal shop. Just wondering what does these shops need if u want a hard to find design? a .gif or .jpeg? would they be able to edit the size and stuff? I have tried Johnson at Ubi..but to be honest...he didnt give me a very confident "yes". (not trying to put him down, i know he does great decal jobs) Anyone have other suggestions?

Appreciate yr help to recommend a reasonably OK (price and quality) installer who dun mind going a simple job to fix a 2 channel amp under driver's seat and change the front door speakers to 6.5" component speakers, preferably nearer the West or Upp Bt Timah Rd area. What would be the estimated charge for such a job ? Thks very much.

Help! Anyone can tell me or recommend me a a good antenna for the radio.. I spent some money on the antenna(bosch)that stick on the windows , but later when my windscreen shattered... my antenna also gone... now cannot receive properly... alot of noise... A piece of advice... don't buy these window one... not so good.. Anyone has tried the shark fin antenna ???

Thinking of going to JB to put in a Micro-compressor M$380 . Friend of mine did it for his Suzuki Ignis and say it give more power & fuel efficiency. The workshop is Southern-Motor sport at Giants basemet. Should I do it? Any LTA inspection implication? Also torn betw doing up windscreen & soundproofing. Any one got good workshop to recommend. Budget very tight.

Hi all, currently using my stock Pioneer DEH-P2550 HU, it can only plays CD and not MP3. hope you guys can recommend one good and cheap HU which can play MP3. irritate to burn the CDs with limited selection of songs and might skip when hit hump, worst of all, the CDR will wear out sometimes even with the 1st time as the tracks will skip or stuck. prefer to trade in my current HU or any other recommendations? Thanks in advance!

I'm getting my corolla in a couple of months and wish to change my rims to 15 inch. Went to Leong Seng and Yap Brothers, and they said they would only pay $200++ for toyota 14inch rims. Is that true? Anyway, I browsed trough a few brands, My father insisted that I get Japanese rims and wouldn't even consider Taiwanese. So we looked at Enkei and OZ, I only saw 1 or 2 enkeis in these shops, but plenty of OZs. However, the OZs weighted in at a hefty 7.9kgs!!! My budget is around $200 per rim. Preferably 5 spoke "star design". Light weight, and japan made. Can anyone help?

Hi, i'm an newbie in ICE and that's also why i don't want to spend too much. While i have also followed the threads to build up knowledge i guess the best way would be to ask the gurus here what is a possible setup/workshop i can employ given my needs. Here goes: Existing setup: Driving an FLG9 -comes with factory speakers(dun know wat brand) never open up. -Sony Xplod cassette/tuner dun know wat series but looks pretty cool. 4 x 50W. -Xplod cd changer If possible, i like to keep the sony products above and change/add the following: speakers - brand & cost? - prefer sentimental/occasionally trance music Amplifier(is 1 enuff) - same preference. Possibly english amps as they are known to produce "warmer" sound? Subwoofer - brand & cost? No need those boomy type but a relatively good one. Thanks for any recommendations and places to get them...

Hi all, I wonder if you guys can recommend a really cheap 2 din HU with changer. The 1 din Sony unit that comes with the corolla looks very ugly. I don't care about the brand or the features or the quality. Just cheap and look nice can already. Please state model and price, thanks. P.S Lets say I have an existing changer, can I just use it with any brand of HU ??
