  1. Not sure anyone has the same problem. My 9 yr old latio AT sedan been giving me concern. While driving, it has suddenly seem to go into neutral while the gear is in "drive". What happens is the engine suddenly just revs but no power goes to the wheels. Macham neutral. Sometimes I just need to wait a while and Power comes back. But twice I had to roll to a complete stop, off engine and restart. Any ideas or experience anyone? ?
  2. Today, I encountered a strange problem. The car suddenly revving between 1000rpm to 2000rpm. I was not stepping of the accelerator. Even when the gear is put to P or N, the needle went up and down. When reaching traffic light, I needed to step hardware in order to brake. Anyone encounter such an issue before?
  3. Hi VAG experts, Recently I have to drive up to Malaysia quite regularly, thus I have bought another car, a 2nd hand 2006 Passat 2.0 FSI for this purposes. In the D mode, while I have revving up the gears, I always feel a hard jerk (machiam gears throwing) for the following gears change i.e. 2 to 3 and 5 to 6. This also happens when I am engaging the R gear. However, when I used the S mode or manual shift to drive, there are none of such incidences. Any advice? Thanks, F_S
  4. Hi guys just a quick question. Is it not recommended to rev hard on new car as the parts are still new? What is a comfortable rpm level to keep and until what mileage? I heard try not to go above 2.5K (or was it 4.5k) for the first 200km. Thanks!
