  1. True the Korean was drunk and not making sense in his native language, I agree with the STOMPer that there was uncalled provocation by the local guy with his aggressive pointings and threats which resulted in the latter kena slapped or punched [shakehead] Not sure if there was a free-for-all after the video footage as things seemed likely to spiral rapidly downwards after the punching. Check out the video embedded in the website From STOMP: http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg...with_drunk.html Posted on 16 May 2012 Man provokes Korean man -- and gets slapped in return STOMPer Ozer came across this video of a man involved in an argument with a Korean online. Over the course of their disagreement, the foreigner touches him on the face. He responds by shoving him back, and gets slapped in the face. According to the video's description, the Korean man had been drunk at the time of the incident. He had apparently boarded a taxi but had turned violent when the cabby asked him to fasten his seatbelt. A passerby -- the man seen arguing in the video -- then intervened to help out the cabby. The video was uploaded two days ago on May 14. Said the STOMPer: "I found this video of a Korean punching a local. "The Korean was drunk and riding in a taxi. "An argument broke out, and then a passer-by stepped in to 'help' the cabbie. "In the end, the Korean hit him in the face. "If you keep annoying a drunk guy, you are obviously asking for trouble! "While the Korean may have been at fault at the start, the passerby was aggravating the matter by even trying to talk sense to him. "Why make matters worse when you can just wait for the Police to arrive?"
  2. Not sure if this incident really happened during the recent Bersih 3.0 demonstration in KL or somewhere else but the many dark uniformed security personnel were rather brutal against the defenseless guy in purple. They were punching, kicking and using cane to whack the living daylights out of the purple shirted bloke. Warning: The video footage at the end was rather graphic and showed the brutality committed against the poor man. Watched it at your own discretion. From STOMP: http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg...ps_bash_up.html This Urban Jungle Posted on 02 May 2012 Police or hooligans? Malaysian cops gang up to whack, cane and kick man in public STOMPer AO was appalled by this video of uniformed Malaysian policemen punching, kicking and caning a man in public. He wonders if such violent acts from just over the Causeway could ever happen here. The incident is believed to have occurred during the Bersih 3.0 demonstrations that took place on Apr 28 in Kuala Lumpur. Thousands of people had gathered near Merdeka Square to challenge electoral rules in light of upcoming elections in Malaysia. Another video showing a police car losing control and ramming into a crowd of demonstrators also surfaced on the internet earlier. STOMPer AO wrote: "I do not want to say anything, just watch the video and make your own judgement! "What are human rights? "What if this were to happen in our own country? They are acting like GANGSTERS!"
  3. Sami chia? Good publicity for the car manufacturer nonetheless [thumbsup] Machiam the Nicholl Highway way Far-la-li crash few years back by the ex-SLA staff... [rolleyes] From STOMP: http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg...rpark_wall.html Posted on 18 Apr 2012 Goondu driver rams car right through wall at carpark STOMPer Avies was stunned when he came across a photo shared on facebook of a car which had apparently rammed right through a multi-storey carpark wall in what seems to be Malaysia. Said the STOMPer: "I saw this being shared on facebook by a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend...well you get the point. "Anyway this driver is insane! "Although the wall looks like one of those pre-fab types with a hole in the middle, but still who would drive like this? "The guy walking at the side might just be a passenger... "Plus, anyone know where exactly this happened???"

  5. Another clown, this time a young one, caught engaging in an anti-social act What was he thinking then? He should be caught and sternly warned of his actions before compensating the victim for his stupid act From STOMP: http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg...ked_car_at.html Posted on 28 Jan 2012 Caught in the act: Youth scratches parked car at Compassvale Walk STOMPer Wei says this youth was caught on his car camera in the act of scratching his vehicle, which was parked at a multi-storey carpark at Compassvale Walk. He hopes that someone with knowledge of his whereabouts will come forward with information. The STOMPer wrote: "To all road users, please look out for this teenager who scratched my car. "The pictures are a bit blurry. However, the teenager is wearing glasses and around 160cm tall. "Especially to those who stay in he Seng Kang Compassvale Walk area please beware. "God bless him. "If any kind soul happens to see this teen, please contact STOMP with information."

  7. From STOMP: http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg...ang_member.html Posted on 29 Jan 2012 A sister's plea: Help, police! My brother is a 369 gang member A STOMPer would like to share details of her brother's lifestyle as part of a gang which calls themselves '369'. The STOMPer also appeals for police intervention so that the youths can be prevented from committing a serious crime. Said the STOMPer: "I was very concerned when I happened to find a knife and spray paint in my brother's school bag. Hence I decided to stalk him. "He has been mixing with a group of boys in 515/888 Woodlands area. Coincidentally, my guy friend was also approached by them. "They proclaim to be 369. My friend apologised but was forced to join them before they let him off. "After weeks of stalking, I found out my brother was involved in fights and chasing illegal debts, spraying people's houses. "There were times when I called the police for they were carrying weapons, and seemed to be preparing for a fight. The rival group always ran away, upon seeing them chasing with big knives in their hands. "Though the police were alert, my brother and his gang always managed to flee. "I called the police though my brother is involved. I would rather have him getting his punishment now then to really kill someone and get life imprisonment. "They often hang around at Woodlands Block 515/888. They always hang out in a group of 15 and get into fights, bullying the weak. "I witnessed a couple of fights where they surround the victims and bash them up under the nose of people siting at the coffee shops. "Those pictures were downloaded from my brother's FB. They were so outragous to even state their logo, taking away the zeros -- 65369 meaning 6 ave 369 in Hokkien which I got to know after approching people I know who were previously gamg members. "One guy seems to be the head of this group for his girlfriend needs to be accompanied by 2 others wherever she goes, even to the toilet. "I had been trying to approach the police's Secret Societies Branch (SSB) for help but couldn't get through the line. "I can't stalk my brother day and night or alert the police on time hence I go through this channel, hoping people in our area will help keep watch and avoid having disputes with them. "Do not hesitate to call 999 if you see them carrying weapons or getting into fights. You may be saving their future. "I really hope they stop whatever they are doing. They are only a bunch of 16-year-old kiddos."
  8. Imagine you are the motorist in front of this trailer at this moment and you hear the sharp screeching sound of it jamming break behind you... From STOMP: http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg...d_to_other.html Lorry speeding on right lane of BKE is a hazard to other road users STOMPer Serene thinks the driver of this lorry, who was speeding on the right lane of BKE during peak hour, is a hazard to other road users. She says: "This was taken just after the Dairy Farm exit on BKE last Thursday (Jan 12) at around 7am. "The driver of the trailer was also speeding during peak hour and I wonder where our traffic police were when this happened. "A hazard to other road users and very inconsiderate."
  9. Another unforgivable act of hanging our flag upside down. From STOMP: http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg...pside_down.html Posted on 07 Jan 2012 National flag at Sengkang hung upside down STOMPer Jeremy spotted an upside down national flag beside the multi-storey carpark at Block 210 Compassvale Lane. 11. Expensive "abrasion"... From STOMP: http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg...r_accident.html Posted on 16 Dec 2011 It's $7,000 to fix this damage after minor accident STOMPer Confuse was surprised to learn that $7,000 has been claimed from his insurance company to fix what seemed to be minor damages on a car he was involved in an accident with. Said the STOMPer: "This is the picture of the damage to a vehicle. "A third party company claimed $7,000 from my insurance company for the damage. "How can the claim be result to $7,000?"
  12. This time no way another AOG denial clause right? Now whom STOMPer's insurance company has to claim from now: TC, PUB or HDB? From STOMP: http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg...gets_stuck.html Posted on 11 Dec 2011 Driver hurts back when car wheel gets stuck in manhole with broken cover STOMPer Jason hurt his back when one of the wheels on his car got stuck in a manhole which had a broken cover. Said the STOMPer: "I was driving my car out of my HDB estate near Blk 679B Jurong West Central 1 at about 1:30pm yesterday (Dec 10). "As I was exiting the HDB estate, there was a car in front of me which safely proceeded onto the main road. "I was the second car and as I was driving out of the estate towards the main road, my entire car sank into an unknown depression. "There was a loud bang, and I noticed that my car had tilted towards the right side in a very dangerous manner. "My engine stalled and I was unable to drive on. Due to the impact of the accident, I suffered severe pains in my lower back and I had to stagger out of my car. "To my horror, when I came out of my car, I noticed that the manhole cover was missing. "Subsequently, upon examining the hole which was about 1.5 metres deep, I found that the manhole metal cover was broken into pieces and had landed at the bottom of the manhole. "My car was stuck at the location for a total of 3 hours. From the pictures which I had taken, the metal cover covering the manhole had broken into three pieces. "The surrounding area around the manhole was also rusty. The missing manhole cover can lead to serious injuries or even death for: 1. Pedestrians especially elderly and young children 2. Parents pushing their baby pram 3. cyclist 4. motorcyclist 5. any other vehicles. "In the event that any person were to fall into the manhole which is 1.5m deep, there could be serious injury or fatality involved. "Just two weeks ago, a 21-year-old beautician Sim Sin Ee was killed when her boyfriend's car apparently went over a pothole in the road. "Their vehicle had crossed over the central divider and was hit by vehicles travelling in the opposite direction."
  13. Suspected hit & run case, this time at a Jurong West carpark. Not sure if there is any recourse for the owners... From STOMP: http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg...parked_car.html Posted on 06 Nov 2011 Look what hit-and-run driver did to parked vehicles at Jurong West carpark STOMPer Jasline is convinced this is the aftermath of a hit-and-run incident. She reported the damaged vehicles to the police in the hope the culprit will get caught soon. The STOMPer describes the situation: "While collecting our car we saw a horrendous sight - two parked vehicles had been hit in a carpark. "We made a police report immediately as it was definitely a hit and run. "The impact was quite great as most likely the driver must haven been driving very fast. "I wonder how the owners are going to find the culprit and claim the damages from them."
  14. Here is something you always hear folks say "Look where you are going!" and you start wondering what if you do not... Watch the video foortage in the weblink at bottom of the page. From STOMP: http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg...s_into_van.html Biker gets distracted by pretty woman and crashes into van If you're on the road, make sure your eyes are fixated on the road and nowhere else -- that's the lesson this motorcyclist in China learnt when he crashed into a van. The motorcyclist turned his head to get a glimpse of a girl he had rode past and crashed into a van before another motorcycle crashed into him. STOMPer RoadSafetyPlease, who saw this video online, wrote: "Guys, this video shows you why you should always keep your eyes on the road and not get distracted by a pretty girl. "A motorcyclist in China turned his head to look at a woman in a skirt and crashed into a van parked along the road. "Another motorist later crashed into the fallen motorcyclist, who was later sent to hospital on an ambulance. "That's the price you pay for having a roving eye." STOMP is preparing the video and will post it here as soon as it is ready.
  15. From Stomp: http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg...ssues_fine.html Parking attendant issues fine -- when owner is standing right beside car STOMPer Lynn was shocked when a parking attendant issued her a fine as she was standing right beside her car chatting with a friend. She says: "I was standing with my car the entire time while this attendant insisted on ticketing my car. "She also took pictures of my car and me, which I don't think is right so I returned the favour by taking her picture . "The two attendants walked off without giving me the ticket they supposedly issued. They returned only 5 to 10 minutes later to hand me the ticket. "Are these people on commission? If so, that gives them more incentive to abuse their power, even to the point of issuing tickets while car owners are standing next to their car chatting with a friend. "A warning to all car owners that they have to put coupons on their car even if they are standing next to their cars waiting for 5 minutes."

  17. Suay... From STOMP: http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg...nother_car.html Woman Mercedes driver keeps reversing and reversing -- right into another car STOMPers John and Jade were furious at this female Mercedes driver who failed to heed their honking and continued to reverse her car into theirs, cracking their car licence plate and denting the bumper. This incident took place at the entrance of the multi-storey carpark at Block 129, Kim Tian Road. The STOMPers recounted: "We encountered this lousy female Benz driver yesterday (Wed, Aug 17). "As you can see in the video, she started to reverse towards our car. "We honked at her a few times to warn her, but she continued to reverse until she hit our car. "Our licence plate was cracked right down the middle, and our bumper was scratched and dented. "We had to file an insurance claim against her because she refused to take the blame. "She said that we had parked too near her car, that she couldn't see our car and didn't hear our honking. "But it is clear from the video that we had stopped a good distance behind her, giving her ample space to back up. "Also, you can hear us honking furiously in the video! "She was so unreasonable. "I don't want to say this but people who drive big cars are often the biggest road bullies too. "The female driver even admitted that she didn't look in the rear view mirror when she was reversing! "I think she needs a driving refresher course. "Please be more considerate!"
  18. Champion! If the STOMPer is not pulling a fast one & the driver really park like that [thumbsup] Still can't believe there is such moronic drivers around... "Half of his vehicle was blocking the road so that he's able to buy food. "So inconsiderate."
  19. Zi pai toa kee liao.... Still not sure what's on this chap's mind when he made those remarks against his brethren-you and me. If he is really a civics tutor, he should know what he can or cannot say as a educator especially if he is using his own name. From STOMP: http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg...rouble_too.html MOE acts: Now hubby of pinoy who insulted S'poreans in trouble too The Ministry of Education posted in a comment on its Facebook page that it is aware of Mr Gay's replies to MP Penny Low's apology on Facebook in which he insulted Singaporeans using his Filipino wife's account. The MOE is now looking into the incident. Mr Gay Chao Hui, a teacher a Tampines Junior College, later apologised on the MP's page and said it was him who used his wife's Facebook account to post the comments, in which he called Singaporeans 'moronic' and 'incompetent'. His wife, Rachelle Ann Beguia, is said to be a clerk working at the National Heart Centre, and disciplinary action has since been taken against her. Netizens were concerned with the fact that Mr Gay is an educator, while others are sceptical about the apology, saying he might just be taking the fall for his wife. STOMPer Stefanie alerted STOMP to MOE's response on its Facebook page. The comment was posted yesterday afternoon (Aug 14): "Thank you for this feedback regarding Mr Gay Chao Hui. MOE is aware of this incident and takes a serious view of the matter. We are looking into it."
  20. From STOMP: http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg...isturb_her.html Aggressive dad shouts at woman complaining about his son in restaurant A man became aggressive and 'looked like he was about to punch' a woman complaining about his son, said STOMPer bystander. The woman was ranting at the parents of a boy who had apparently disturbed her meal at Bukit Panjang Plaza. The STOMPer was having lunch when the incident happened on Saturday (Jul 23). He sent in a video and said: "Ugly Singaporeans. "This happened during lunch time, about 1pm and the whole incident lasted for about 15 minutes. "It seems that a 7-year-old boy was hitting the wall behind the woman in blue when the woman got mad and started ranting at his parents. "She raised her voice, complaining his parents did not teach him properly. She also became quite aggressive during the course of her rant. "The man in a sleeveless top and his wife (woman in black) are the parents of the little boy. "The man looked like he was about to punch the woman in blue, but he didn't. He was just trying to defend his son, who stood there and cried the whole time while the woman ranted about his behaviour and pointed at him. "I am not sure if she had actually scolded him directly before ranting at his parents. "The video was taken at the middle of their argument. Later, a security guard came and told them to take it elsewhere. "The woman in blue and the man in white with her walked away, but the woman kept shouting back at the parents of the boy as she left. "Some members of the public tried to break up the argument, but to no avail. "The woman in blue was just being unreasonable by going on and on and on, telling the parents to teach their children properly. "I felt she blew up a small matter. It was not wrong of her to tell the parents to discipline their son, but she didn't need to scream."
  21. STOMPer should have called out for help to get the bast*rd arrested. If not the low life will carry on his trick and god knows how many more women folks will suffer... Then again I guess many will just suffer in silence and hope that it is just a misunderstanding or pray that the nightmare will just go away... SCUMBAG!!! [mad] From STOMP: http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/singaporeseen 'Sleeping' man touches woman's thigh, even after being told to move hand away A man appeared to be deliberately touching STOMPer Ting's thigh, even after she asked him to move his hand away. According to the STOMPer, the man sitting beside her on the bus was only pretending to sleep. The STOMPer related the incident: "I was on NUH's shuttle bus this afternoon at 12pm. "This uncle sat beside me. "Around 5 minutes later, suddenly there was something touching my butt. "I looked down and I saw his hand placed on my seat. "I was shocked, and I turn around wanting to confront him. However, I saw his eyes closed and I thought to myself that maybe he was asleep and did not do it on purpose. "I woke him up and ask him to move his hand away. He moved his hand without saying sorry. "As I was still quite shocked, I kept my eyes on his hand and as expected, he slowly shifted his hand to my seat again. "His eyes were closed and he was pretending to sleep. I shifted in my seat and he quickly took his hand away. "He kept pretending to sleep even when the bus stopped and everyone was alighting. "I asked him to let me alight the bus, and he opened his eyes but still pretended that he did not hear. "Finally, he slowly got out of his seat and moved down the bus. "When I alighted the bus, I quickly went to the bus stop at Singapore Poly. "He kept loitering around me until I picked up my phone and made a call. I think this scared him and he walked away. "It was a really scary experience with perverts like him. Girls out there please be aware and protect yourselves!"
  22. From STOMP: Another spoilt S'porean brat: Guy curses mum for mixing up pants after ironing STOMPer StompSG2011 was irked when he came across an online posting by a guy who cursed his mother for mixing up his pants after ironing them. Said the STOMPer: "I was going through Facebook and I saw this kid cursing his mother for putting his clothes in the wrong place, causing him not being able to get to work." "There are too many spoilt Singaporean kids nowadays."
  23. Wow really have to be careful if you go to Malaysia stadiums to watch games there. Not a soccer fan so not sure if local fans behave like that to rival fans. Hope not.... From STOMP: Grow up lah: Childish Liverpool brutes humiliate guy for wearing Man U jersey A horde of Liverpool fans forced a young man to take off his Manchester United jersey when he went to Malaysia's National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur to watch Liverpool's training session during the team's Asian tour. A video of the incident, which happened on Jul 14, was posted on the Internet. It shows hundreds of Liverpool fans taunting the Manchester United fan, forcing him to remove his jersey and even tried to make him wear a Liverpool jersey. The young man refused and sat down topless. STOMPer Liver Fools, who saw the video, says he is disgusted by the behaviour of the Liverpool fans. He said: "To all Liverpool fans who think this is funny, let me just say that the behaviour of your so-called comrades is a disgrace to the beautiful game of football. "The Man U guy may be a moron for wearing the jersey to a Liverpool training session, but the Liverpool fans prove that they are nothing more than a bunch of barbaric, juvenile, low-class brutes. "Even with his stupidity, the Man U fan at least have the guts to confront hundreds of Liverpool fans wearing his Rooney jersey, which is more than I can say for the Liverpool ruffians who acted tough only because there are many of them. "Grow up, Liverpool fans! "I wonder if Liverpool fans in Singapore would behave the same way." Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has commended his fan for his courageous stunt. The football star's Twitter message read: "The lad who went to watch Liverpool train in mufc top with my name on the back is a legend." According to news report, the Manchester United fan had been showing off his jersey, kissing the Man U badges and shouting "champions" at the Liverpool fans.
  24. Just when you thought there was only the dramatic Jaguar uncle case, we have now another apparently happening at a HDB corridor. Even though the video was almost 6min, you have watched it all because the "best part" took part near to the end when the dramatic uncle gave it all Regardless of who is right or wrong, it might have been a tense place to live there, machiam the DMZ between North & South Koreas... Serioulsy they need to go to the mediation centre or to their MP to sort things out. If not it will be another Joo Chiat case like what the uncle said. From STOMP: http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg..._resident.html# Foul-mouthed 'bully' rants and rants at resident STOMPer Rebecca shot this video of her neighbour yelling vulgarities and threatening her. She says he does this frequently to his neighbours living in units adjacent to his. She commented: "Our neighbour has been bullying people living above, below and opposite his unit with vulgarities, threatening to report us to the police and take us to court. "He does this whenever he feels that we make noises above his limit or for whatever reasons he can find, like suspecting the neighbours dirty his laundry, have children who jump above his unit or even play the piano too loud. "He is well known for complaining to the HDB and Town Council about this. "This happens quite frequently. The video is one example of his behaviour. It was shot on Tuesday, July 12, at around 6:30pm." STOMP has bleeped out the obscenities uttered by the man in the video.
