Hi bro/sis, Company shifting to MBC (beside PSA, HP building).. So, now I'm busy looking around for nearby parking.. The cheapest I got is $203 per month for Comtech (behind MBC) and I feel that it's a RIP-OFF! Any recommendation for nearby parking? Even if park hourly is significant cheaper, I don't mind.

Hi, i renewed my season parking on 10 nov, the system indicated that next renewal date is 11 nov and expiry date is 30 nov, can anyone explain that to me? the 11 nov renewal period is for december? can i renew that at the end of nov?

Since OPC seldom drive on the road, its fair enough they pay lower COE & road tax. However, they spend most of their life occupying the carpark lots, I suggest HDB should increase season-parking charges for OPC to be at least double. Its irritating OPCs always "chope" all the best lots for long periods of time, normal cars always no place to park

As above. REason I ask is I have a neighbor, and i have been observing him. He will come at abt 2100hrs, and sit in the car, read np, and his wife accompany him sometimes. at 2230, he will leave and he will put 8 0.50c coupons for night parking. He will take several photos before leaving I am sure the hike affects this bugger.... [laugh] Seems like a bloody cheapskate to me...to scrimp on that few $$$ and waste precious time there....anyway, the ST forum has a letter today: Why night parking fee hike is unfair IT IS hard to understand the rationale for having to pay double for parking overnight at public carparks ('Night parking fees to double to $4'; Tuesday). Economic theory provides that price should be set by the interaction of supply and demand in a free market. Thus, the proposed fee hike is unjustifiable at underused carparks. I regularly park overnight at a multi-storey carpark in Ghim Moh Road. To my knowledge, the carpark is usually only half-full at night. Why should the HDB charge visitors a higher fee at such carparks? Tuesday's report also stated that some residents choose to use night parking tickets instead of season parking tickets to save money. However, increasing night parking rates does not free up spaces, but merely forces residents to buy season parking tickets. In any case, certain existing HDB carparks are reserved for season ticket holders after 7pm. The HDB can weed out short-term visitors by increasing the number of reserved spaces at crowded carparks. Alternatively, the HDB and Urban Redevelopment Authority should adopt a more targeted approach and increase parking rates only at crowded carparks. The current blunt response may have the undesirable effect of emptying out underused carparks. Kelvin Koh

Posting this on behalf of a fellow member who needs some help. He's starting work at @ playfair road, little road & pereira road area this week & have no luck getting season pass there. Have tried contacting parking operators of some buildings there but season pass are all restricted to tenants only. Any advice on where to park? -

As office building car park are on long waiting list hence might have to wait long long before getting a lot and those corp high ranking ppl can jump Q. Ferguson has announced that he will be looking to bolster his squad.. So who do you think Utd will sign for the new season? Utd has already signed Chris Smalling from Fulham and a certain Javier Hernandez, whom is a Mexico International.. I really hope Utd will bolster their attack by signing David Villa.. If there's anyone that can match Torres in the league, it's Villa.. It'll bring more goals to the team hopefully, and there'll be someone to share the goal scoring burden with.. In fact, Villa seems a more natural goalscorer than Rooney is.. Next, United will need a good midfielder.. I'm thinking Jack Rodwell.. That lad has impressed me.. Maybe one more playmaker in terms of David Silva.. It will bring extra flair and creativity to the midfield.. I dunno if SAF will bring in a keeper to replace VDS, but if he does, I hope it'll be Casillas (Fat hope! HAhaha).. Or a more realistic choice is Sebastian Frey.. Or maybe Buffon.. my place parking lot is limited thus, all lots are reserved for season holder from 7pm-7am including ph and sunday.... most lots are painted red 2 years ago when i moved in but few days ago, they added a white line to it, extended from the red line..... is there such a rule or lot?..... i didnt notice any change in signboard or timing... my BIL came 6pm yesterday and ask me, so, can i park or cannot park?.....and my answer to him, better dont park ...later they purposely want to snoke u .. anyone seen such lot before and what is the meaning of it?...

Yo bros/sis. I will be looking to drive to work in Cecil Street soon. I heard season parking is damn ex there....... anyone can let me know where is good to look for season parking and the costs? Or where i can get this information? In addition, is it much cheaper to park outside and take a bus or train in ah? If so, where should i get parking ? Very much appreciated for the help!

is it possible for the general public to apply for season parking at changi airport? specifically, im looking to park at terminal 1 (open air carpark) ... with constant travels ... weighing costs of parking there vs midnight taxi charges. if possible to do so, does know anyone the monthly charges? thanks!
