Hi guys, here's my situation. changing to a desk bound job with a basic pay of 3k (gross).... 29 year old single male with about 30k cash savings car repayment is about $580 per month (7 years loan) 2years 3months old now prolly can get a few k back right now if i sell it i'm kinda 50-50 right now on the decision to sell it.......... what will you guys do if u were me? good advice appreciated very much cheers

Chance upon this news and I don't know if most people knew about it.....I for 1 do not know HSBC Fine Print Submitted by hallion on April 27, 2011 - 8:48pm HSBC upgraded their ATM cards in the past several months, Customers were told within a few weeks the old card will expire even know I still had months if not 1 year to left, all sounds good. What HSBC didn't tell their customers that once you use started using the new card your old conditions agreement was void and new agreement give the bank the right to sell your personal details all in small fine print ! I have looked at my old ATM card customers agreement (Small Print) and the new customers agreement side by side, HSBC has added this clause into the new customers agreement, tell you that HSBC has the right to pass on / sell your personal details for marketing etc. Since I've started using my new ATM, I get SMS / calls selling services etc by HSBC or agents. Today I was in my Local branch, 2 other people were complaining about the same think. HSBC staff were very red faced when this was brought to thier attention in black and white about the "upgrade " to the small print. Every customer need to be a where of this new clause.

The Global Times said the 17-year-old high school student, identified only as Zheng, had confessed to his mother after she noticed the gadget and a deep red scar on his body, which was from the surgery. Zheng had travelled from his home in Anhui province to the city of Chenzhou without his family's knowledge, where his kidney was removed at a hospital under the supervision of a kidney agent. The Global Times said Zheng's mother took him back to Chenzhou to report the incident to the authorities, but the contact numbers given by the kidney agents were not working. Zheng also bought an iPhone and a laptop with the proceeds from the sale of his kidney, his mother said. The Chenzhou hospital where the boy had his surgery denied any connection with the kidney removal, but admitted that it had contracted out its urology department to a businessman.

Hi to all bros, As per topic, should I sell my lancer EX? My lancer EX 1.5GLS is 1yr8mth old (Non sports edition, basic model, don't even have sports rims and leather seats). I bought it cheap when COE was just $2 and now a few irritating dealers are offering me $52k +/- and haunting me to sell them my car because I approached them for a quote few weeks ago. Thing is, I am half hearted because I kinda fall in love with my car already after 1 yr plus with it. Ive been taking such good care of it (polish every few months, wash myself every week, servicing it at agent etc) and I get decent milage/comfortable ride in return. With all the controversy on the upcoming proton Inspira taking the form of the Lancer EX, coupled with me starting to set my eyes on the facelift Forte Koup, I am wondering now weather I should take the plunge and go for it. Initially I was considering the Sirocco but decided against it because I do not want to be financially tied down by the car by taking a loan. My dad will also be against me buying the Roc so I guess the Forte Koup would be my next best choice. I do not have much criteria in a car, still a young chap with no family of my own so 2dr, 4 dr, fast, slow, anything goes as long as its decent to my eyes haha. Thanks for ur input in advance

Hi all, I've been reading messages here that many are harbouring the thought to sell their car around (08/09)now to earn a quick buck. I can't undersand how is this going to benefit one if selling his car now and having to buy another car with a higher price tag ? Unless, one totally gives up driving or downgrade all the way to a small car. Not forgetting the 2nd hand dealers who are out there to makan your money when you trying to sell and buy used car. Perhaps, the better policy is to stick to your present car and drive for good 10 years . Afterall car is still a liability here. Regards,

See many people dumping their less than a year or slightly a year car for a second used car. Really tempted to do so to make some gain. I only got my avante at 36k (with interests). Now i super gian used colt version-r or SSS.
