guys, I am trying to sell my car. Nissan cefiro 2.3l. non facelift version. comes with gps (LCD screen) and reverse camera. registered Feb 2006. milleage 52k (ya I know it is super low cuz we have two cars and this car stays at home on weekends). agent serviced and still under Tan Cheong servicing contract (2 more servicing) everything ok except CD changer not working. I see the sgcarmart price is around 42k. Does low milleage helps? What price roughly should I be looking at? Is there anywhere I can get quotes from Agents or should I sell on sgcarmart direct? Should I sell direct? Is it difficult? There is no bank loan on my car. I think the procedure is just meet at LTA, buyer give me cashiers order to my name. I transfer car and give him the keys. That's it? Cashier's order cannot be fake or bounced right? my second car is a 1.5l selphy registered Mar 2008. I assume if I want to save money, it should be reasonable to sell the older cefiro rather than the selphy. Or can a newer selphy fetch a higher price than the cefiro. But then I well end up with a shorter COE (but I get to drive a 2.3l cefiro which is much more responsive) Both cars are not giving me any problems and both are paid up. sorry so complicated. Thanks for any advise.

my parents bought a timeshare package about 9 yrs ago for $10k + $7k. but we never made use of it. then last month, my dad got a call from a timeshare company in Burlington Sq.(beside SLS) offering to buy back his package for the same price ??!! so far i have only heard and read about the negative side of timeshare companies. anyone ever had success selling back your timeshare or heard of other's experiences ?

gd day...have a few questions would wish to enquire.. if i wan purchase a second hand or say a new car, n my current car still have existing loan on it, do the dealers take in my current car (trade-in) n offset whatever additional (interest/early settlement) i owe to the bank then lump it all into the new car loan i'm going to purchase from or do i have to clear the outstanding before i'm eligible to purchase the new car? many thks for all advices..

i have some thought about this? there are lot of used car selling even throught they are from 2009 or even 2010. what is the reason ppl are selling them?? 1)cannot afford and bank tow back 2)something happen to the old owner? 3)the car was involve in accident before and repair it by the dealer? Anyone can advise?

Alright, my relative has just asked me for my help on selling his Merc S350L (2005). He seek my help because he has n idea how to do it. Frankly, I too, am on almost the same situation as he is, other than sgcarmart that pops into my mind. He is trying to sell the S350L and carplate, 2 digit number seperately. Reason is that it might return more money than to sell as a whole. Is this true? I just hope any experienced kind soul out there able to give me a hand (or push) to the correct direction. Let's say I want to sell my car to a friend's friend. How do I go about doing it? How to transfer ownership officially? What if I still owe the bank money? What is a good price to quote? Is it fair if I quote 120% of what the 2nd hand dealer offered? In terms of payment, is the norm to get paid in full or can the buyer pay me in installments? Anything to take note of? Intend to sell my 2 years 9 mth Altis. But as I'm based overseas, my wifey is helping me on it and she only has 1 week to do so before she join me here. Would like to get some information as below as 1st time selling car without buying another one. Previously is sell to get another car so just let the dealer settle everything.: 1) One used-car dealer told us its ok for me not to fly back. He can appeal to LTA and my wifey can help me to handle the sales. True? 2) Normally, the price they offer consist of vehicle Parf Rabate + COE Rabate + Body Value? Correct? 3) My 2 yr 9 mth Altis they quote me 42K, is it ok? My car plate is good number (I bid for it) Can I bargain for a higher price? If not, can I keep and car plate no, any cost? 4) So once the transfer is done, used-car dealer will give me a cheque and I will need to contact my bank to clear the loan right? or will the used-car dealer settle everything and deduct the loan to bank and give me the balance in cheque? 5) What are the things I need to take note of? Any other hidden cost? Sorry for so many questions and appreciate all help. Rgds

Hi all, I had entered a deal to sell my car to a dealer. He had paid me the deposit for my car. So tml I am officially passing the car over to him... Just wanna safeguard myself from anything. When should I stop the date for my insurance? He said he will do all the de-registering at LTA but I am somehow not comfortable since I want to see everything... wad shd I lookout for to ensure this deal went thru smoothly n this dealer will not have any chance to CHU PATTERN!

SINGAPORE : A 55-year-old shop owner at the Beach Road Golden Mile Market has been charged with selling a rifle component to a man on March 5 this year. Loh Boon Cheng allegedly sold an M16 firing pin that day to Lim Wei Li, an intern from a media company who was doing undercover work, at the place commonly known as the "army market". Loh was also charged on Tuesday with being in possession of a similar pin on March 18 this year. She will appear again in court on July 13. If convicted of selling the pin, Loh could be jailed up to three years and fined a maximum of S$10,000. And for being in possession of it, she could be jailed up to three years and fined a maximum of S$5,000.

There are a some Porsche enthusiasts who feel every Porsche should have a boxer engine in the boot, but each and every month the sales totals tell us that customers are far more interested in vehicles they can live with on a daily basis. It's certainly not a 911 at five-feet tall and 4,400 lbs., yet the big SUV continuously sells in higher volume here in the U.S. than its sportier stablemates. With Porsche in the middle of changing over to the 2011 Cayenne, the 911 and Cayman/Boxster had a solid opportunity to come out on top, but April's sales figures shows that the newest of Porsches, the four-door Panamera, shot right to the head of the class. The decidedly front-engined, boxer-less Porsche Panamera routed its stablemates with 678 sales, the big sedan's best month yet. Those 678 sales are nearly double that of the 911, its next closest competitor in the Porsche line-up. But while the Panamera can hang its hat on a very nice April, we're thinking the big Porsche's days as sales leader are numbered. Since the outgoing 2010 Cayenne averaged about 800 sales per month last year, our money is on the 2011 model to take its U.S. sales crown back in the next month or two. [source: Porsche]

I have just pay up my bank's auto loan and is about to scrap the car. In the past, the Log card is used as prove that I have the ownership of the car but now that the bank has send me the original log card a few years ago, how will one know whether the car is still under a bank's auto loan? Appreciate the help. Thanks.

Yes! I found it! But they only sell the Super DOT 4 and not the TYP 200. Bought it for $12/L can. The shop owners are so dedicated! They wrapped it in plastic so that the can will not rust. Place?
