Drove passed Sengkang Shell station this morning about 7:45am. Saw a long queue of cars going to the Shell. Did I miss out anything? Pump price drop?

Hi all, shell amk ave 8 wld be closing down soon so at the petrol station they are giving vouchers worth $500, lasting from Jan 10 to Dec 10, like $3 off $40, 15% off $50 pump etc... there's a guy in red shirt that would need u to fill up the questionaire, simple qns like which petrol station u pump...then he will pass u the vouchers and there was a free gift pack (includes water bottle, anti slip mat etc) so those who stays near AMK, go there if you are interested... i was there ard 2am, they even have midnight shift... haha =)

I used to drive the old vios model, been using shell petrol since day 1. Averaging ~10km/l since morning peak traffic jam quite bad. No issue on that. One fine day, I decided to try out Caltex with all the hoo haa on its techron additive. Wow, seriously not bad, for that tank, I get around 14km/l. Anyway, changed to sylphy not long after and went back to shell since the new fuel save petrol just came out. Ok, not bad, averaging 11-12 km/l. Probably because dun feel like revving engine so early. After few tanks, went back to caltex again for the temptation of the techron. Next few tanks pretty much the same, 11-12km/l. Recently, I noticed that the FC dropped to ~10km/l. Went back shell again, and immediately get back ~ 11-12km/l. Is Shell 95 superior over Caltex 95 or it's just my imagination? Although it might just be a few dollars more every month buy anyone with similar experiences? cheers.

Shell V-Power97 = 97 RON Shell V-Power Racing = 97 RON What is the diff? I was suspecting the rename their fuelsave97 to V-Power97 for marketing purposes. I also suspected V-Power97 & V-power Racing are the same grade and quality marketed at diff price. Anyone care to comment?

I have been using 95 all these while. 2 days ago when i was in JB, I was forced to top up with V Power. I noticed that after the V Power top up, my car has better torque and the pick up is much faster. Could this be psychological or the V Power realli helps? Can any bros advise or share yr experience>

Hello Bros Has anyone service their cars at Shell stations? I am looking at the one at Serangoon Garden becos the space is big and clean. I dont fancy those cramp workshops. Thanks for ya views and recommendation Cheers

I've got know today, foreigner car is not allow to pump shell95. Only can pump Vpower(RM2.40/liter) & vpower97 (RM2.10/liter). And was told, they hv implemented this policies throughout whole West M'sia. Wonder is it true? or just petrol kioks at JB city area only?

they are giving petrol vouchers 15% (4 pieces per month) booklet to be used from Jun to Dec 2010. To be used at the 3 SHELL stations 1) Serangoon Road (Opp KIN CHEW LEG) 2) Geyland Lor 7 (after exit from KPE - Sims Drive) 3) Aljunied (Beside MRT) Quick go and get the booklet. I already got 4 booklet during the weekend.

Lol!! I must have been living in the well or cave for decades!! Went to JB to shop and pump petrol. Pump till max then realise that Vpower is actually blue in colour!! LOL!!!! Super Duper Suaku... But then, I just wonder why do they want to make the petrol blue (read that dyes are added to aviation fuel for identification purpose) but why blue? Why not purple or red or even pink! -

Am currently pumping Shell 98 for my Honda Civic since i got it 6 months ago. Principal reason to use Shell is cos its the nearest station to home. Recently, understand that Esso is having a bigger discount and am tempted to make a switch. I intend to continue pumping 98 if switching. Questions: (1) Is it bad for my car if I switch from using Shell to Esso? Some people tell me it is always better to stick to the same company. (2) If no, is there an ideal time to switch? e.g. when my tank is almost empty?

Enjoy Shell's synthetic oil servicing package. Comprises of 4L Shell Fully Synthetic Engine Oil, 1 piece of oil filter and a 18 point checking now at promotional rates! what do you guys think of the price? Personally i think its overkill. Assuming Shell Oil selling at $49.90, oil filter $7, Labour $10.

A friend who just come back from JB said the Shell petrol station, the first one after the Msian immigration kena raided for allowing Spore car top up more than 20 litres of petrol. 2 policeman there chain the place there. Take note....

Wanna find out about what you guys think of Shell Helix Ultra as compared to the rest of the brands which promise a lot more. What do you think? Me reaching 15,000 soon and thinking of which brand to use.
