Hi, got some guys asking about where to buy the hose for CAI. They have seen the one that is located in Gad's mobile. The shop is in Lavender (see map). A corner shop..when you tell them you want to do CAI, they will recommend you that particular model. BUUUUUUUT, for S$30 not worth it lah (I brought it without analysing the other options). Do approach Saaber for the location of the shop that he got from...will cost you only $3 to 4 if I am not wrong (but of course, is made of different material lah but still should be heat resistant). Good day :>

Good day, just wana share my bad experience with u guys. Theres this day which i went to jb, southen city for some shopping of groceries. Then out of no particular reasons, i've decided to put on mivec bodykit for my lancer, together wif a filter. After all these were done, i did not realise anything wrong.( tell u later) Then this guy rammed my car after he had changed the filter. Rammed so hard till the aircon/steering belt burst.(The one which turns when idling, turn faster when ram harder) After that, i told the boss(a bloody fat ass) bout this. He kept arguing that this is not his employee's fault. I was damn pissed and just throw the credit card to him and said: F**k it. Just sum up the bill. When i'm back in s'pore to get the paint work done on the bodykit, i'm so excited. But u guys know what? The spray man said the front lips is not right. Its for 96 model lancer. Not suitable for 99 lancer. My heart broke, but bo pein, LL, just spray the car. Nxt time got xtra $$, change the front lips again lor.... I think the shop name is Moffiz Automobile. Its situated inside of the southen city shopping mall. Quite big, with lots of workers.

To those Octavia Classic owners who are toying with the idea of changing the lousy power window unit supplied by JTA (those with the controls mounted on the doors), please be aware of my experience. First of all, my Octavia is only 4-1/2 months old and the power window unit has already failed twice. With the current situation of JTA, I don't think they can help much. So, I decided to have the unit replaced at my own cost. I contacted Walter to find out which shops had JTA used since I was also concerned about having a shop with no Skoda experience dismantling panels from my car. Walter gave me the names of the only two they have ever used. 1. Koh Corporation located at Odeon Katong Shopping centre, and 2. Leader Auto located at Blk 844 Sims Ave. I contacted both to find out if they had a better replacement unit and what the cost was. Koh Corp quoted $220/- and Leader quoted $260/-. Naturally I decided on Koh since the make and model is the same and is cheaper by $40. I made an appointment with Koh to have the new unit fitted. BTW, he was 45 min late. Anyway, when he finally showed up at his shop, I requested to see the unit first. I was shocked when he pulled out a box that had masking tape all over. I then asked him if this was a new unit. He confidently assured me it brand new. When he opened the box, it was very clear to me that it was a used unit judging from the fact that none of the components had plastic wrapping and most of the wires were not neatly packed and the uninsulated part of the wire also has crimp marks. When questioned, he continued to assure me that it is brand new. My common sense was screaming at me to leave, which I did. Since I had already decided to have the unit changed, I visited Leader to see what they could do for me. On arrival, I asked to see the unit as before and this time around, I was presented a brand new box. On opening, all parts were still neatly packaged in individual plastic bags. I know for sure that this was a new unit. To cut a long story short, Leader provided good service and did an excellent job. The guy who did my car was called Francis. He was very carefully when removing the door panels and fitted everything back properly. He managed to reuse the door control buttons and the unit works very well. So, the bottom line is, if you are planning to have the unit changed, definitely do it only at Leader. The other Koh guy is definitely a crook.
