  1. just wondering ....anymore people looking to sell the roomy ??
  2. Just want to ask your opinion on how would you react if the car park lot you were waiting for was stolen under your nose by another car. For my case, i was heading for lunch at Sin Ming area where there's always problems with parking. I signaled my intention to park at a lot where a car is coming out, but i had to inch forward for the car to turn out. As I inched forward, the car kept following until my car was out of position, hence i couldn't take the lot anymore. The bugger happily just reversed into my waiting lot. I wanted to horn and get down, but decide against, decided to drive to another location to eat instead. I wonder the guy was pure ignorant or just pure brazen to take the lot knowing that I already signaled to take the lot.

  4. Went for my 15k car servicing and waited for the whole day for my car even though the service centre promise me that the car will be ready within 4 hours. What turns me off is that there is no waiting area, no sofa, no TV, no drinks and not even newspaper for customers to read while waiting for their car. Wondering if Harvest Motor is really interested in the business a not?

  7. Greetings. My Skoda Superb 1.8Turbo petrol engine manufactured in 2007 has the following problems: The hose in the picture was broken but do not know what part it is to tell the stockist. In addition, the exhaust manifold was so red in the second picture, I wonder whether anything wrong with that. I would appreciate it very much if you could send me a diagram showing the parts and parts number of the engine bay if you have access to it, so that I can inform my stockist of the part to order, and also shed some light to my exhaust manifold problem. Many thanks, KK
  8. any one know where I can get a use exhaust manifold for skoda manual? I need one for car inspection. thank you
  9. Was at the VW showroom yesterday and walked around but nothing really excited me. The new Jetta was ok, inside wise with all the dashboard systems and all, its the same as our Skodas. Than I popped into the Skoda showroom in Leng Kee and found out some exciting news, the 2.0TSI Superb model is coming in and ready for taking orders before the COE increases again, which seems most likely since alot of people are changing or upgrading their cars. The new Skoda Superb 2.0TSI is fully featured with keyless entry and push button start, price wise, the 2.0TSI is actually cheaper than the VW Passat 1.8TSI by a good 20k. To order it, they said it will take about 3 months to get in. I was so tempted, the 1.8TSI was going for 146,000. Full featured model at a special price this weekend only. And is available now. GO check it out today! What should I get the 2.0TSI or 1.8TSI......hmm...
  10. After revealing the third generation Skoda Octavia towards the end of 2012, the Czech automaker has recently released the official photos of the Combi variant. The estate model will be making its global premiere at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show alongside with the four-wheel drive version. The new Octavia Combi has significantly increased proportions, boasting a 110mm longer wheelbase along with a 90mm longer and 45mm wider body as compared to its predecessor. Available boot space is increased to 1740 litres with the rear seats folded. Skoda commented that the Combi will get a selection of turbocharged petrol and diesel engines that is similar to the Liftback. The Liftback

Ride: Skoda Superb 1 Year: 2006 Mileage: 230,000km Major works: engine semi overhaul, shocks, all changed, major component parts thats spoilt changed. Tightening of roll bars. overall small paint job. Current ride - like new, quiet. Spent around 5k+ Power is seems tighter, engine feels smooth and reliable as ever. Skoda Superb - strong as nails - got hit by a taxi, his front looked collapased mine has 20 cent coin dent....paint work covers it. Loving the ride still.

  20. It was about 5 years ago when I bought my Skoda Superb 1.8T. I found the brand though this very website and from the Skoda community here. I am more than happy with my ride and experience. Being such a used car, I will definitely accelerate the wear and tear duration and had parts changed. Currently my ride is sitting at the workshop to have it's cam changed as there was some issues with it. I am expecting a deeper ride after this. Its almost like a mini-overhaul. After this, ride will be powerful for the next 5 years. - Its true when people say that the car is a keeper and Skoda drivers seldom change their ride.
  21. In order to attract buyers in the United Kingdom for their new model, Skoda has recreated the prehistoric monument, Stonehenge, out of old cars. Known as the Citihenge, the art installation was built to mark the arrival of the Skoda Citigo, which is the Czech version of Volkswagen's Up! model. The unique replica of the Stonehenge is made entirely out of recycled car parts. The project is led by sculptor Tommy Gun and together with a design team, took three months to create. The ambitious piece of art, built using 18 scrap cars, stands at over five metres tall. Each "henge" is five metres wide and the commanding structure weighs a remarkable 36 tonnes. Pietro Panarisi, Skoda's spokesperson says, "The Citigo embodies the future of driving and is the smartest option for forward-thinking city drivers. While traditional cars struggle to perform well under the strain of city driving, the Citigo is designed to excel in the urban environment. Citihenge symbolises the beginning of a new era of motoring and we hope drivers across the country will recognise this important turning point." Tommy Gun has this to say about the project, "The Citihenge project has been the most amazing challenge. Stonehenge is a huge, iconic structure and the Citihenge replica is too. It is made entirely from old car parts, which taps into my own childhood growing up on a farm where I used to love building and creating things with pieces of discarded machinery." The Citihenge was erected on the south bank of the Thames river next to London's famous Tower Bridge and it will make a tour around the United Kingdom which includes the Goodwood Festival of Speed and its celebration of car culture, in West Sussex from 28th June
