  2. Am sure many watch MCM. But their latest full-length feature is on a totally different level and really needs to be shared. Truly epic and I think rivals the top automotive shows currently available imo. Amazing work for hobbyist. These guys need to be on The Grand Tour. Part 1: Part 2:

  4. Lamborghini Huracan Taxi In a UK first, Wolverhampton council has granted a private hire car license to a supercar. The Lamborghini Huracan, worth at least £180,000 ($260,000, €230,000), will be the first taxi of its kind in the UK. The green Lambo is more than likely the only taxi you'll ever get with a five-litre engine and a top speeds of over 200mph. Admittedly, the streets of Wolverhampton aren't be the best place to put your foot down. If you think black cabs are expensive, Wolverhampton's Lamborghini might be out of your price range. The minimum charge for a journey is £349 for 90 minutes.
  5. mxtradings not selling more, I'm a big fan of it leh, anywhere else in Singapore selling? :) Or any similar DOT 4 alternatives?
  6. With latest statistics in Europe showing that sales of SUV is beginning to overtake hatchback, it is do not come as a surprise that many auto manufacturer are making their new model to ride higher, label them as Crossover, and there after markup the selling price, taking full advantage of the latest trend in the motoring world. Actually the "pioneer" in mini SUV is not any conti car maker, but Japanese. How many here still remember there was once a a 659cc 20V turbo charged sample, with max. horsepower of 64ps, max torque of 97Nm, and a top speed rated at 130Km/h (in stock condition)? Yes, I am referring to Mitsubishi Pajero Mini. A fun car, but not necessary a fuel efficient one as one might have expected from a Kei car.

  9. Dear Nissan owners! I will be dekitting/export the very rare Primera 2.0 Luxury Sedan soon on 10 days time! This car is super rare... if if you are a Primera Owner and yr car interior is worn out. This is the final chance if you wish to change any parts... My car internal is superbly well maintained! Everything works perfectly! My rims are the "5 nuts 16inch Original rare primera sports rims... Its also in well maintained condition. looks clean and not abused! I believe you can change it to yr Cefiro/teana or any Nissan with 5nuts socket. Lastly I also have the Armron Hilife battery less than 2yrs and last week check, power still 100% best! The battery I believe is compared to many other cars such as Toyotas as my Mark X are using the same. Its pity to dekit with such superb condition. Honestly, I do not have a price in mind, anything you want just quote me, find a place to change/swap. Mostly importantly my car parts are put to good use rather than throwing off to the export/scrap... What a WASTE! So anyone! This is a rare chance, I am a easy going, generous chap, as long as you need it, just give me a reasonable quote you deem and we get it fixed. Final day of this deal will be 18th April... After that... its will be gone.!

Interesting News - But I really really hope Singapore doesn't get the nod --- Prior to seeing this article, I was arguing elsewhere that any Singapore bid is "a joke" SNIP Read more at http://www.espnscrum.com/super-rugby-2014/rugby/story/232253.html#8p0fwohw2Ckxf2l6.99 Jones, a forthright thinker of all facets of rugby, said that "any smart organisation should see the value of promoting Japan as an expansion team in Super 18". He noted that a Singapore-based team would play in a spectacular new stadium but said that every player "would be an import" because "Japan recently beat Sri Lanka 132-10 and Singapore are ranked 10 spots lower than [sri Lanka] at No.58 in the world". 17. Is China trying to muscle its capabilities in mega projects ? .... Yahoo news: China to Build High-Speed Railway Line from Beijing to US? China is considering building a 13,000km high-speed railway line that would run from Beijing to east coast US, according to official Chinese media. The line, creatively dubbed the China-Russia-Canada-America line, would begin in Beijing, travel north through Siberia, and under the Bering Strait to Alaska before heading south through Canada to reach its final - unspecified - destination in the United States, said the Beijing Times. The journey would take two days to complete if the train maintains its proposed average speed of 350km/h. Although talks are said to be in progress, it is not clear how the countries en route feel. Wang Meng-shu, a railway expert with the Chinese Academy of Engineering, said there had been positive feedback. "We're already in discussions. Russia has already been thinking about this for many years," he said. According to China Daily, work has begun with the tunnel technology "already in place". The technology is already being used to build a high-speed railway between Fujian, on China's southeast coast, and Taiwan. The line would be 3,000km longer than the current largest railway line, the Trans-Siberian Railway, and 200km would be beneath the water in the Bering Strait between Russia and Alaska – four times longer than the submerged section of the Eurotunnel. "The project will be funded and constructed by China," the report added. "The details of this project are yet to be finalised." The Beijing Times has said the China-US line is just one of four proposals for huge cross-border railway projects. One is a line from the southwest city of Kunming to Singapore, another runs from China's Urumqi Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran and Turkey to Germany. 22. Just crazy really. Shows that ostentatious displays of wealth may not really be what they seem. But before this turns into a cycling bashing thread, note no arrests were made so we don't know who is at fault. Islington police seized a McLaren MP4 valued at a £170,000 on Thursday, November 14 after it was involved in a collision with a cyclist. The cyclist, a 41-year-old man, was taken to a north London hospital with minor injuries. The vehicle was seized by police as the driver, a 63-year-old man, did not have the appropriate insurance. The incident happened just before midday in Old Srtreet at the junction with Mallow Street. There were no arrests. If the driver decides he doesn’t want his car back, it may be auctioned off. Earlier this year, a Lamborghini Aventador valued at £300,000 was confiscated in Newham, east London after police found the driver had insufficient insurance. The driver failed to come forward after police confiscated the car and it was sold for £218,000. The money was put into frontline policing.
  23. Scientist most feared have arrived, The Super Typhoon of wind speed of more than 300km/hr .... Hitting Philippines today with deadly forces of nature ... from Yahoo: One of most intense typhoons ever recorded hits Philippines One of the most intense typhoons ever recorded tore into the Philippines on Friday, triggering flash floods and ripping down buildings as millions of people huddled indoors. Super Typhoon Haiyan smashed into fishing communities on the central island of Samar, about 600 kilometres southeast of Manila, before dawn on Friday with maximum sustained winds of 315 kilometres (195 miles) an hour. The strength of the wind made it one of the four most powerful typhoons ever recorded in the world, and the most powerful to have made landfall, according to Jeff Masters, the director of meteorology at US-based Weather Underground. Masters said he expected the damage in Guiuan, the fishing town of about 40,000 people that was the first to be hit after Haiyan swept in from the Pacific Ocean, to be "catastrophic". "Perhaps the greatest wind damage any city on Earth has endured from a tropical cyclone in the past century," Masters wrote on his blog for the weather monitoring website at www.wunderground.com. Communication with Guiuan was cut off immediately after Haiyan hit, and the civil defence office said it was too early to give an assessment of the damage there. But in Tacloban, a nearby city of more than 200,000 people, streets were flooded and some buildings were torn down, according to footage broadcast on ABS CBN television. Haiyan had maximum sustained winds on Friday morning of 315 kilometres an hour, and gusts of 379 kilometres an hour, according to the US Navy's Joint Typhoon Warning Centre. more stories, link : http://sg.news.yahoo.com/super-typhoon-haiyan-hits-philippines-230815112.html The storms are getting bigger and stronger...
  24. It is an expected move from Volkswagen - a more potent, all-wheel drive variant to top the Golf range. But now it has got almost 300bhp from the redeveloped 2.0-litre lump taken off its GTI stablemate. Is this VW's hottest hot hatch yet? 2.0-litre. Four cylinders. 296bhp. 380Nm. 5.3 seconds. These are the figures from the latest Golf R. In comparison, the Mk7 GTI has 220bhp and 350Nm of torque. That is almost 80 more horses in a similarly-sized hatchback. While the weight of the new R is not disclosed yet, we expect the Haldex four-wheel drive system to put a toll on the R at the scales. Then, the fifth generation of the AWD system promises up to 100 percent torque transfer to the rear axle - all done in fraction of a second via the Haldex coupling with help of an electro-hydraulic pump. Some cool tech there. To us, the previous gen Golf R was mind-blowing enough with 256bhp and 330Nm of torque. But then, we bet it was only right for VW to increase the power figures as it is the natural way to showcase its progress - as with any car manufacturer. Then, we would gladly have the twin-centre pipes (which we thought was the iconic symbolisation of the R) over the quad pipes, any day, anytime. Let's keep our fingers crossed that this wouldn't be a mere figure-boasting exercise.
  25. http://dai.ly/x12sed6 The all new NSX is and will be one of the most awaited supercars when it hits the showrooms - scheduled for release in 2015. And it seems that works is well underway, with the prototype caught undergoing testing at a track in Ohio, U.S.A. The NSX has no doubt achieved a tall status, worthy to be one of the all-time-greats. The halo car from Honda is one of the first proper supercars from Japan that packs the performance and dynamics to rival the bigger counterparts from the Europeans. The new version will no doubt have a tall hat to fill. To help it in its course, Honda (and its American arm Acura) will equip it with a myriad of cutting edge technologies. For instance, the new car will be 'hybridised', with two motors up front driving each of the wheels - which effectively grants it all-wheel traction. The electric motors will also supply positive or negative torque (or drag, as we know) to deliver a more dynamic driving experience than the current AWD systems. How cool is that? From the looks of it, the new car definitely has got what it takes to turn eyes - the supercar way. This, especially after being starred in one of the very cool Ironman sequential - fans of the movie will be typically fond of it. Not to mention the aural appeal - that is if there isn't any alterations done to the soundtrack (as in the video). Words from the higher management of the marque seem to point towards that of a possible Right-Hand Drive variant at some point of time. As much as we know we couldn't afford one when it touches down here in Singapore, we'd still love to see it. And that is only because we like to see all-time-greats being revived, and continuing their legend - if it does at all.
