Hi Some advice needed. My brother in law is interested in getting a 6 yr old used jap car from a direct owner. Tested the car and the car was ok. Had it checked. Also ok. Is it reasonable to expect the direct seller to provide him a 1 yr warranty on parts of engine and transmission? Get the direct seller to commit via a contract to provide him a warranty? Pls advice. Cuz my brother in law is afraid the car will give problems in future.

Hi everyone, As above, want to know how to qualify used component speaker is good condition to buy? I come across a demo speaker on sales, is pretty good high end speaker, feel like buying but I saw two small finger press on the cone, guess is demo speaker ppl hand like to touch touch. The price of the speaker is 500 plus, demo set sell at $400. Does it mean the speaker is gone case? The press is not deep in just like a mark on the cone. I wonder is this condition consider spoilt? Regards

Hi. I will be going up Malaysia for a road trip with my family on my wife's Mazda 3 this end of April and have a few safety concerns. Penang to be exact. Distance wise it's gonna be the longest I've ever travelled. Have a few concerns since I have two kids with me. Do you all actually keep a spare tyre in your boot? My wife's Mazda 3 does not have one. I do have tyre repair kits on hand like your usual worms etc. But as you know we are travelling with kids and it may be dangerous and inconvenient to stop on the highway to patch my tyre if we were to be that unlucky. http://www.sgcarmart.com/news/events_features.php?AID=3371 Saw this article on sgcarmart. Will this be useful? TireCare Sealant. Anyone used before? I'm looking more to use it as a preventive measure. According to them upon application prior to the trip, any punctures will be sealed automatically. And no need to head to workshop to patch the tyres after that. Reliability and cost is a factor here. At $269 for the revival kit it does not come cheap. Though the kit includes a compressor which I would not mind having, and the current offer of free AA membership. I appreciate all feedbacks especially those with kids, how do you all prepare for your road trips? As you already know the entire family's safety is on our shoulders and our spouse... sadly will not be able to help us. If this is posted to the wrong folder or if it's considered as repeated, mods please help me to shift it. Thank you.

Dear Forummers, Apologies if there is already a thread for asking such questions, but I need some help. I am looking at purchasing a used Audi A4 1.8 L and the price quoted by the dealer is 68800. The car is a single owner car with 66K mileage on the Odo and OMV of 36,062 and COE of 43290. I am wondering if the price quoted is reasonable. I also saw a similar car quoted at 60,800 but the mileage on the ODO for the car is 107,000 so am thinking of getting the one with the lower mileage. Any help or feedback would be appreciated. Dear All, Need some advice from the experts here. I am looking to sell off my used furnitures (sofa, low cupboards, coffee tables, dinner tables and chairs, etc etc) and appliances (Fridge, microwave, etc, etc). Short of putting them one at a time on auction sites, is there any 2nd hand dealers that can take in all? All items are in very good conditions. Thank you in advance for any advice....

Heard that or roads will have 2 new Taxi models in the near future, they will be the Hyundai I45, nd the Audi A4. More bigger nicer taxi's, just hope price won't go up.

as per title. doesnt matter if single or double din as long as working (can read and play dvd) anyone scraping or selling their cars with dvd? I have the roof mount monitor but the dvd player cannot read anymore. if anyone has, can sell me? I will bear the swapping charges. cheap2 one those below $100 preferably as I only left about 7 mths to scrap. thanks

Did anyone notice the price hikes across all model and dealers? When I bought my car last June, my monthly depreciation was approx 700 Now Most cars are atleast 1k mthly depreciation among All Dealers listing amid increment in coe quota 😅

Hi I bought my first car, a 2000cc conti - 10 years ago. In the blink of an eye, it's time to get a new car and I'm a bit clueless at this. I've been thinking of getting a Japanese car this time round because of the better value retention and also I've been driving Japanese cars during business trips - very impressed. Yesterday, I went to the Mazda, Nissan and Toyota showrooms. Seems like I can get a 1600cc car like an Altis, Maxda3 around 90-99k. However, I also checked and a 2-3 year old Camry or Teana can also be gotten around the same price range. I would like to ask for your opinion - what's the better buy?
