I find that generally, a german, or french, or jap, or italian car, etc has the design which tells you they come from that country..... and most of the time, for example, a german car will not look like one from italy / france / japan / korea. Are there any exceptions? Does the new look Hyundai, eg Elantra, still look korean? or more like another country? Somehow, i dont think a german car designer will come up with something which looks like a typical toyota. Or a toyota designer will not do a alfa romeo look. -

Okay supposing your regime is to change oil at 5k and have to choose between - Mobil 1 0W40 (gold bottle) fully syn at about $90 for 4 L - c-----e's 0W30 fully syn at about $35 for 5L with a can of free oil addictive, which would you choose ? What if OCI set at 10K ? Also, how would Prestone 5W40 fully syn compared to the above (price and quality) ? Driving is 60/40 (60% city), short to mid distances (5 to 20km)

The release of this paper is part of a public engagement campaign by the government on population issues, in the lead-up to a White Paper on population that will come out later this year. The paper can be seen at www.nptd.gov.sg/. One scenario projects that the total fertility rate stays at its current low of 1.2 births per woman, with no supplement to the population from immigration. In this scenario, Singapore's citizen population will start to shrink 13 years from now, and decrease by more than half a million by 2060. The other scenarios keep fertility at current levels, but with differing levels of immigration, ranging from 15,000 to 25,000 new citizens being brought in per year. In all scenarios, the number of working-age citizens declines, while the median age climbs. The scenarios show that an immigration inflow of between 20,000 and 25,000 new citizens a year is needed to keep the citizen population size stable

Hi all, There is this scenario of upsizing a default stock tyre size from 195/60R15: The info gathered http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp is this: For 195/60R15, the speed is 100Km/h For 205/55R16, the speed is about 97.3Km/h (2.726% slower) For 225/55R16, the speed is about 95.6Km/h (4.538% slower) But when I compare with another site at: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/tirecalc.php , the result is different: For 195/60R15, the speed is 104.61Km/h For 205/55R16, the speed is about 107.48Km/h For 225/55R16, the speed is about 109.35Km/h So who is correct? or I did it wrongly? And it will be good if you can give a short and sweet reason(s). No bashing and flaming, to each his own. Note currently liked driver, not last time like, but now. For me its Schumy because of his often miraculous driving (in the past), character, ruthlessness, intelligence and drive, more so than his 7 championships and records. Of course he brought controversy and his character into question. But in this kind of sports, I can close two eyes on that now that he had changed a lot.

Hey guys, finally my car is breaking even.. Intend to change car in June period... But was wondering what should I get? Intend to get a 2nd hand car that is about 5-6 years old with the balloon scheme ie drive till end of Coe. By then in 2-3 yrs time COE should drop, then can buy new ones. Afew options to choose from with my budget.. 1) 08 Vios 2) 06/07 Mazda 3 3) 07 Nissan Latio Each got heir own good points like Mazda is gadgets, Vios is fc and Nissan is quiet.. I m not looking into modding or anything... Just driving a stock car. Which would you recommend? Anyone can also share their Fc?
