I read around and seems to find that many gear knob is made for Jap car. How abt Korean car ?? Can all gear knob also be used on any Korean car ?? Tks

I want to improve fuel consumption from my current 9 km/l ... for a 2003 1.5 Manual. Any ideas ??? Also anyone know where to buy brake disc (not stock type) .. for better performace.

My bro-in-law is thinking of getting a new Accent but he wants to know the FC first. I've made this into a poll for easy input, doesn't matter if you're driving manual or auto. What I've gathered from historical post is at most 12-13km/l. Just wanna confirm if the same applies to the 2004 Accent model.

Hi there, I have just secured my COE yesterday and my Accent will be arriving in 2 weeks time. It's black colour, 1.3M. How can i enhance the look of it? What are the kind of accessories that i should buy? Pls advise me. Also would like to find out on the fuel consumption and fellow Accent owners, do give me valuable feedback on this car. Thanks.

Thinking of getting one of the above Is it true that for new cars... can only take loan for up to 70% of the selling price? Compulsory to pay immediate 30% downpayment? cannot take full loan for 10 years?

Am tniking of changing a car and was looking at the three candidate, they are the Proton Wira, Kia Rio or Hyundai Accent (All 1.3M). Do any of you guys or gals have any comment on the vehicle ? Hi guys, I know this topic been up once or twice but it always degenerate into something else. Basically I'm looking for a new car. I initially thought of getting a 2nd hand car, a Presea to be exact, but my mechanic advised me against it. So with my kind of budget I'm looking at a 1.5M Rio Hatchback or a 1.5M Accent. In terms of reliabality which one is more reliable. Cos in terms of look, I feel that the Rio hatchbook look much nicer than the Accent. Or do you guys think I should give the COE car a go? I was thinking of getting the 10yr loan but I know there's something about rule78 or something can someone please explain it to me in greater detail. Cos I hear about ppl needing to top up to sell the car. BTW I'm currently driving a 94 B13. (Nissan Sunny expiring in May 04) Thanks.

I think that I shall share my experience with all you guys here in the forum. I have been driving a Hyundai for the past 4 year. 4 years ago, I was driving a Hyundai Atos, no much complaints except I think the guys at Komoco can't really do a good job in repairing faults. The suspension always giving a cracking sound when I go over humps slowly. They have check and check but can't really rectified the fault. So I sell the car off. 2 years ago, after I sell the ATOS, I brought a 1.3 Accent, thinking maybe I should give it a try again, again no big problem, but I suppose the suspension is really badly design and got a feeling it won't last long. Basically, the accent is quite a good car, I have been driving it along the NS-highway plenty of times. Have try going up to 170KM, the car is still very stable, probably because it's heavy body, but then also because of the heavy body, I lost to even a 1 liter car when moving off from traffic lights. Lastly, no big problem again as long as you don't mind the lose suspension and heavy body.
