Dear all, I'm sweating over for my Accent 2003 1.5A, the fuel comsuption is incredible... it's like 9km++/litre....it's less than 1 mth old, upgrade rims to 15" only.. anyone has similar experience? any improvements recommended?

hi fellow Accent owners , do u guys feel that Hyundai car's brakes feel spongy and got weak braking power ??? as compared to my previous cars , this car's brakes feels lousy even if its a brand new car anyone fixed stainless steel braid brake hose on the accent ? care to share effect / price / where to get i want to make my Accent a better car

Hi all, I've booked a new Hyundai Accent 2003, going for COE bidding this coming Monday. However, it seems that when I tell most of my friends, they seems to pour "cold water" on my purchase Is Accent really that bad of a car? I really like the face-lift look, what you guys think? Does anyone in this forum owns and driving a 2003 Accent already? Any comments and experience to share, please share... looking forward for your replies!

Hi, Just to share a pic of my recent (over the weekend) project. It is nothing out of the extraordinary, but something which I wanted to do ever since I got my car.... sigh* 2 years ago.. Too lazy to do it until last weekend. Cost for doing up... Wire mesh = $15 (but used only half of what I purchase). Silicon = Free (Take from uncle's workshop) time spend = 1 hours plus (more time spend on sarong) p.s: Actually, I dun really like to post my car pic, but since the days are numbered... why not..

Did a mod job on this 2001 model Accent. Total cost including grille and emblem $50. Time taken: 1 hour, most of the time spent on removing the stock sticker.

Hi all, I'm driving a year 2000 Accent 1.5. At 150km, my fuel gauge is at 3/4, at 250km, the fuel gauge is near to mid-way mark. Is my Accent fuel consumption high or low? What about other Accent owners, how are your fuel consumption like? Regards, limws

Can't decide between the new facelift Accent or Rio, both price about the same, anyone can give me good advice, on the differece, like the specs itself, aftersales service, spare parts, servicing etc?? Thanks

Hi This is my first time posting anything. Took me a while to come this far. Anyway hope to be in more often to learn from the experienced. While I just got a 2nd hand 2yr+ Hyundai 1.5 Accent Manual and had been looking around for ways to improve its performance. Currently it is doing about 10.5km/l. As I have no benchmark I am wondering if this is optimum. Any suggests as to how to get there? Anyone has any views on these products Surbo or Broquet and whether they would be any good? Or any other suggests I am all ears.
