My CP1 was 'taken out' on Wednesday 24 September 2008. It went for PPS Diamondbrite at Groomworks on Thursday 25 September 2008. LYNWOOD, Calif. (KABC) -- Investigators are looking for the driver of a speeding minivan who crashed into a smaller car with such force that the car split in half. An investigation is underway in Lynwood after an incredibly violent crash killed one person early Sunday morning. The victim who died in the crash was driving a Honda Accord. His car was split in half. Friends identified the victim as 37-year-old Jose Juan Valenzuela Ramos. Officials are searching for the driver of a maroon minivan who fled the scene on foot. The collision happened at approximately 1 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Atlantic Avenue. Authorities say that the minivan was travelling south on Atlantic Avenue when it crashed into the Honda at the intersection. The impact was so extreme the Honda was split apart. Ramos died from his injuries at the scene. A section of the Honda ended up on a sidewalk by a gas station. A witness described what she saw. "We were going up Atlantic and we saw this van going 70 to 75 mph. I told my husband little does he know there's a cop in front of him and they're going to catch him. Through my rear view mirror I see him impact the car and the car just cuts in two pieces," said Itziar Contreras, witness. Again the driver of the minivan ran away from the scene. A passenger in his vehicle was detained by police for questioning and authorities say that they are following some leads. Anyone with information is urged to call the L.A. I've got a 1991 Honda Accord (CB series) manual which has problems getting into reverse gear despite the clutch being fully depressed. Appreciate it if you know of any experts, or more importantly who has the parts sources to fix this car. -

ok, i'm helping my friend post this as he does not have enough post count to start a thread... If you don't want to live, please die somewhere else instead of jeopardising the life of others by doing it on the roads. I was travelling about 100+km/h on SLE lane 1 with a car in front of me no more than 2 cars length. Don't know where you came from because you were not behind or beside me when you came cutting in front of me. I suspect you came in from the filter and cut through 3 lanes to cut in front of me. I had to honk, jam my brakes and even swerve a little to the right to avoid your car. You seemed to be in a rush as you were tailgating other cars as well after the incident happened. When I sped up to come parallel to you, you ignored my honks (or were you afraid to face me?). I had wanted to show you how long my middle finger was. I think you were rushing to make it in time for the start of the lunar 7th month. But please be considerate and do not take others with you. Worse still, you may cause others to be in time for the 7th month instead of yourself.
