Hi all. Im looking fr a place that can do reliable alignment. Either 4 wheel computerised type OR e old type using sliding plates on e ground type. Need to go veh testing soon. Also if u can state how much ty charge. Thanks all. Forgot to add preferably in north. Woidlands yishun area. Sorry.

anybody can recommend a workshop that can fix back my bumpe, parked head in too far in, when reverse out, bumper drag on kerb. no need to respray, just fix back the bumper.

Need recommendations for a reputable WS in A.V. to do wheel alignment for my car. I was told by tire shop my rear wheels are not aligned so causes my tires to wear more on one side... Thanks!

Hi guys, I had an accident 2 months ago which left my chassis out of alignment. I read that there are services which could realign the entire chassis back to its original condition (as per factory specs). I also read about this Car O Liner that could align the chassis back. http://www.sinhweemotor.com/Car-O-Liner-Alignment-Bench.php Thus my aim is to restore the chassis back to its original condition, then strengthen the welded areas and then replace all the suspension members. Anyone has any experience with that?

Hi guys, Just wondering if you guys can educate me on the above? What's the difference between wheel alignment, balancing and rotation? When will I know if I need to do any of the above. Do you have any good workshops you can recommend for the above services? Has any of you tried the Stanford Tyres at Yishun? What about Poh Seng or City Auto?? By the way, I drive a 2003 Mazda Protege Auto. All advice appreciated. Thanks.

This is a very technical question. EXPERTS, I would love to see your comments :) I went to do wheel alignment for my Vios at Stamford Tyre at Bukit Batok. After adjusting with all the laser machine fitted on, I test drive, realize my steering wheel is tilted to one side, I went back, the mechanic use a spanner to adjust both side of wheels with both side full lock respectively, to make the steering wheel straight. This, may I ask, renders a proper alignment job? It seems to be done wherever I go. Hankook tyre, Riverview Auto, all do the same this. I ask them, won't the alignment by laser be off once you adjust this? All say no, but I doubt.

Hi guys, I just changed my tyres at a shop advertising in this forum. Realsied now those tabs that were used for balanbing not stuck in a straight line at all.... slanted on 1 wheel....another whell, 2 pieces not in line with each other... does it matter? TIA

Hi, may like to know how is car alignment being done? Never do before, so today try. The mechanic drove my car out one round. Returned then drove onto a metal base, then adjust the inner side of front wheels. Then drove out test again, return adjust a little then done.

Any bro/sis know any shop that do cheap alignment. Motogard charge $42.80 for a simple alignment. Any imput will be appreciate.

I sent my car in for service and asked them to do a front-rear rotation followed by alignment. But they went and did the alignment and didn't do the rotation. If I do the rotation now separately, will it screw up the alignment since it has been done?

Can anyone recommend? My wheels are mis-aligned. Went to Sunday Plus at AMK but they couldnt solve it. Then i went to Stamford tyres...kenna chopped carrot and again they couldnt solve it. I heard of Kenny at Autopoint. Though they have good reviews, i have personal friends who said that Kenny is only so so...

My tyres failed to grip well on the ground for me twice in a day time. 1st time is in a MSCP doing an acute 90 degree turn. Cement floor, some small puddle of water, and was turning only like 20kph yet still feel the car loss a bit of grip. 2nd time on a typical left turn slip road to expressway, totally loss grip for like 1-2 sec. Was relatively fast thou and road is slightly wet due to light drizzle. Is it the tyres doesn't have good wet grip? Or just the speed and wet ground? Or I turn too hard? i encounter some understeering at times. sometime even with the slightest steering. that time i just changed my drive shalf boot cover, for vios 2006. will this cause the wheel to be out of alignment?

Any idea how much is it to do wheel alignments? Those that use those laser type are damn cool... checked with a shop in JB and they told me RM15 ! With that laser alignment tools which probably cost quite a bit - they just ask RM15 from me... I thought that is freakingly cheap... didnt do it though as I was in a hurry to go back Spore that day.

This is a question that has been bugging me for some time. You know how sometimes when you back into a parking lot and you're not really concentrating and your rear wheels bump against the stopper that most lots have? What does that do to your rear wheel alignment? Does this affect different vehicles differently, ie:- RWD vs FWD cars? The car drives normally after bumping against the parking lot stopper, but being the anal perfectionist I am, I can't help but have a nagging doubt that the alignment might be slightly off, even though I can't really tell by driving the car. -
