the other day, went to geylang for durian and my bil pointed out one weird phenomenon... no matter how jam the geylang area road is daily and nearly 24hrs also heavy traffic, there is not a single ERP gantry along the to-fro strecth and it wont have one for sure it seem.... wonder why it's like that..... some conspiracy theory or that area run by some big brother whom even miw dare not offend??....

For this whole week during morning hours (7 Plus), the jam along Jalan Boon Lay towards Jurong island was always there Traffic came to a snail crawl at times Anybody know Si Mi Dai Chi Boh Or Sing Ga Po Nan are getting richer & richer hence more & more vehicles are on the road these days

if you are the above nerdy looking driver in the yellow getz SFJ plate mentioned above, good morning to u i am amazing at your bravery and sheer driving prowess that in your very stock getz which looks like a 1.1L, you managed to do overtaking slalom manoeuvre in peak morning jam traffic there , WITHOUT USE OF SIGNAL LAMP INDICATORS AND WITHOUT EVEN BRAKING , instead leaving the braking job to the other drivers while you were driving with your window down, you didnt even bother to wave thanks to cars who gave way to you, rather your right paw that closely resembled a ALBINO tiger's was waving little morning chirping birdies to anyone who threatened to get in the way of your morning drive your engine note was such music to the ears, even though there was a 525i amongst us, and the roar of that straight 6 with obviously a gruppe-m kit within sounded more pleasant to me, your car's roaring was like a majestic african lion going for the kill, sounding so loud and agressive drowning out the gruppe-m on the 525i , alas , male lions are all bark and no bite, and the lionesses do the killing what in your pea brain were you thinking, trying to pit yourself among 5 conti cars in the pack, all with combined engine capacity more that your engine's puny oil sump capacity please remember, barking along that lane is pretty fine, understand you have to run at 130km/h to catch your prey (525i) , but do remember that road is speed limited to 50km/h, with speed camera, and elite infested if you do happen to introduce your car bumper to an elite, i believe the elites will be more than happy to introduce the prison bars and rottan to your puny albino backside. btw your brakes and suspension really tokong when u attempted to do that corner at 50km/h to marymount i saw your rear left wheel lift off

Was anyone stuck in the jam along Bendemeer Road towards City? Was walking to the hawker for dinner and saw thick smoke bellowing out from the side of the road, presumably from a car? Had quite a few red and blues on site. Anyone saw what happened?

was on my way home, saw one grey legency mount the traffic island and hit the traffic light. got one motorcycle by the kerb side off corporation rd and TP @ scene. dunno wat happened. bottomline, drive safely!

Hi all, 1. For the HDB dweller, do you put your shoe rack just outside your door or along the corridor? Is installing customized shoe rack just outside your door an illegal act? 2. i witnessed a fire accident at 330am today 060608 those living at blk 466 sembawang drive or along the sungei river might have seen a bright orange glare and heard fire engines, or even smelled the smoky air... was about 3am and the weather was pretty cooling and there were mild lighenings and soft thunder sounds, so i tot it was prob gonna rain but suddenly a very bright orange glare shone right into my room curious, i looked out the window to check wad it was... only to see a fierce fire emerging from a nearby factory juz across the road away from my house 4 fire engines and several police cars came took them an hour plus to control the fire but juz when the fire seemed to be under controlled, a sudden explosion will follow and a fierce ball of flames will appear. this happened for an hour... the sky was very red and bright, with very visible dark smokes arising to the sky from where i stood and view ( i live at 18th floor ), it looked like a volcano erupting... fire died down at about 5am. nt sure if anyone in my neighbourhood saw this but i was still awake at 3 and i happen to see the flames go wild... hope no casualties ** sorry for the blur image i forgot to switch on to anti shake function =)

Unfortunately, I was unable to get a picture in time, but let me describe what I saw. It was about 4pm (08-06-08) and I was along Orchard Road near to Centrepoint when I spotted a dark blue Accord (New Accord) with some damage to its rear bumper. Upon moving closer, I could see that it was actually the front license plate of another vehicle stuck to its bumper. Of course I couldn't see the number of the stuck plate but you could see the frame of the plate. The Accord's plate was SFL 5??? ?, the rest I don't remember and it was driven by a lady (40-50yrs) with permed hair. I think she probably reversed into another vehicle and "Stole" the license plate from the vehicle that she hit. So if anyone is suffering from a hit and run and missing license plate, I'm sorry, was not able to catch a pic, traffic required my full attention on the road.

The wonderfully long and fast 8 lane (4 both ways)jurong buloh was closed off except for one lane on each side of the road this morning as there was a fatal accident. Trailer head without trailer was smashed in the front across the central lane divider. A pickup it crashed into was totaled with a dead person covered lying across 2 lanes. Human body parts was seen along a 20meter stretch of road. Its time for TP to do something with these trailer guys...

There was an accident along SLE towards BKE just after the Mandai Exit. It invovles 2 cars & a Malaysian Plate Scooter, 1 of which is a purple color Grandis. The Grandis had its rear windscreen smashed into pieces and seems like no physical damange to the rear bumper nor boot whereas for the other car which was brown in color, didn't really have a exact look at it. The Scooter was right behind the 2 cars and the rider had his scooter ending up on his body. The malaysian rider had blood flowing out from his mouth and seemed like no response from him. This is very depressing. RIP. Anyone can spectaculate what happened?

Was on the way to pass something to a friend at Kaki Bukit Cresent. Accident happen in front of Techlink. Biker looks stunt, not sure how badly injured.

Photos owner said car racing another white car before the accident. After accident, both driver and front passenger ran away from the accident scene.

Around 11pm, me and wife decided to go for supper (after 4 kids have slept). Left Hougang Central and head towards CTE. Around 11:15pm, stop on the center lane along Hougang Ave 2 & Ave 8 junction as traffic light is red for me. Light turn green and suddenly a old uncle start to cycle along the pedestrian crossing from my left, I stop and quickly take a quick glance at my right side mirror. A red Mz3 on my right lane wasn't slowing down when approaching the junction, I quickly blast my horn (2 pairs of Steble Magnum + 1 stock disc = 5 horns) at the uncle cyclist and he stop momentary and lucky wasn't knock down my the Red Mz3. Before I move off, I shouted to the uncle in hokkien "uncle, red light don't cross, uncle, very dangerous ah!!!" here is the video taken from my N95 and just to let you all know, the handphone is mounted on a holder all the time when I drive.

On my way back from work, I spotted an accident involving a red Suzuki Swift bearing number plate SGV530M along Clementi Road. Scene of the accident is situated in front of the main entrance of Singapore Institute of Management HQ. This caused the traffic of that already busy road to have a tailback to the Sunset Lane area. I didn't get a clear look of the whole scene but the above mentioned vehicle seems to be not very badly damaged. Read yesterday papers and was by the report that LTA is widenning the AMK Ave 1 junction CTE with another turning lane....... With that extra lane, more vehicles will join the CTE morning jam and thus give them every reason to increase the ERP charges...... . There again, LTA says that due to controlling the morning jam, they have to increase the charges...... Already CTE have 2 ERP's and now with extra lane and more vehicles travelling....... , when will it end. More vehicles will then be diverted to TPY and those residents from the north, you are cornered....... Those travel in the evening along CTE is also not spared as there are 2 ERP's up north....

Saw this accident along ECP this morning. Use my N95 to take the video but have to convert from MP4 to WMV so I can used Windows Movie Maker to shorten the clip and upload to youtube. Red Mit Lancer kanna sandwiched. Didn't manage to shoot the badly damaged white Toyota double cab pickup due to Estima blocking the view.

Boo....Hoo....Hoo...., a fatal accident had just happen (2.30pm) along Clementi Road. A predestrain was knocked down by a car along Clementi Road junction Sunset Way toward the direction of Ulu Pandan Road. Taffic at stand still from said place to Bukit Timah Road. R.I.P.
