Those trees along expressway divider, are they really necessary? I feel that they are road hazard and waste of money to maintain it. I've encounter many times those broken tree branches on lane 1. Although the broken branches are not big, but not small enough to run over it. definitely dont want to risk running over it. There is a possibility that some cars suddenly change lane to avoid those broken branches and cause accident. Those tree at the most left lane, just like the CTE/SLE mandai area, might just fall and speeding cars in the expressway will be hard to react on falling trees. There should not be trees at the side of expressway. If wanna look green, just plant some bushes.

All Bro, Please be careful TP is so poor even on sunday late afternoon also catch. Me kena one sunday late afternoon time @ 5.02pm along hougang ave 3. The speed limit is only 60km/h what the fXXk my speed exces (21-30kmph) like this also kena very the................$150................6 points.

I was among those caught by a traffic jam along that road at around 6.00pm. Both Lane 1 and Lane 2 occupied by damaged cars. Lane 1 chain collission and Lane 2 chain collision in parallel almost exact duplicate. I believe there was no casualty, just more business for tow-truck businesses. Anyone of you involved? -
I came across an accident between a Stream and Lancer GLX if I am not wrong.Apparently the Lancer kena kissed backside . First thing that come to mind was that I felt like getting down and kicked the stream driver bloody ASS. Not only he jammed up the whole expressway cos of accident,dented the whole bumper of the other car , cant help but to think "Jialek, next year car insurance going to rocket sky high !!! Thing is, everyone knows it is not the driver's will to create the accident giving reasons like the front vehicle jammed brake suddenly lah etc etc.. But many time cannot escape from the fact that it is carelessness and taking things for granted attitude that caused the accident. It don't just concern you and the other driver so exercise caution and consideration when on the roads.

Recently I came to take notice of a house that seems to be abandoned - 297 Upper East Coast Road. It is of latest modern design, completely rebuilt, yet is in very bad condition with fallen leaves everywhere in its front yard. Never see anybody in the house at night for a long stretch already. I am sure it will find a lot of interested buyers if put in market due to its modern architectural outlook. Is anybody in the know willing to provide any information why it is in this state?

Hi biatch owner of the silver E-Class at 2110 along Lornie Road towards Farrer Road, Not only you almost grazed the side of my car, you simply can't keep within your own lane and yet you have the farking audacity to horn and flash others in front of you. You truly deserve all the horning and fingers shown by myself and others. And to the white Corolla, just in case you misunderstood my actions, it was all against this farking half-wit biatch. I can see that you were one of the victims too. Please look out for this car folks, cuz the owner can't drive for shlt.

Another hit-&-run case, this time on the road. Middle road, exactly. What exactly is on the mind of these hit-&-run drivers? If you have witnessed this, do contact the Stomper via Stomp. No relation to him/her but just trying to help out a fellow victim... According to STOMPer JG, a hit-and-run red van driver collided with his car along Middle Road and did not bother to stop and check what happened. The accident left the car an overturned wreck with the driver trapped inside. Ricky describes the situation: "This accident happened on Sep 15 at about 5.00am, along Yishun Avenue 1. Early this morning, I heard a loud 'bang' from outside my window. "Only one vehicle appeared to be involved in the accident, and the car was overturned. He was probably speeding or something. "Civil Defence people and an ambulance arrived and worked to free the driver from the wreckage. An ambulance then took the casualty away. "This is not the first time such a major accident happened here. This stretch of road is long and straight, and is a favourite of speeding drivers. "I have written to LTA and the Traffic Police regard speeding drivers and bikers along this stretch of road, but so far I have not received any response. "In addition to creating lots of noise late at night, they are also likely to cause accidents here. "I hope the authorities will put up some speed bumps to stop this trend." A spokesperson for the SCDF also gave more details: "The call was received at 5.24am. "The accident had occurred at the junction of Yishun Street 81 and Yishun Avenue 1. "The SCDF dispatched one ambulance, two fire bikes, one Red Rhino, one fire engine and one support vehicle to the scene. "The driver was trapped in his car and rescuers used a hydraulic spreader-cutter to release him. The operation took 20 minutes to complete. He was conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital with head injuries in a conscious state."

If anyone of you read this or your friend is reading this. Appreciate you let the fellow cyclist know. SAFETY 1st! Your group is about 20 in size if not wrong. With majority consist of Caucasian & few local. You have always occupied the whole left lane and we driver is kind enough not to kick a din since you are in a big group. All I need is you stick to the left lane and do not come over to RIGHT LANE!!!! get that? LEFT LANE only! not 1st lane. (I am a cyclist too!) I encounter a group of cyclist almost every Friday morning while driving along Holland road towards Orchard road. Right at the junction of Botanical Garden, a couple of cyclist suddenly diverted from the main group. Went to 1st lane and carry on cycling, and without any blinker at all. I drove past their and shouted at them "Please keep to left lane. Left lane only!" It really spoil my Friday mood! so inconsiderate and selfish (I guess they want to filter into Tangling road and lazy to to use pedestrian crossing at the junction right in front of Tanglin Shopping Center)

According to a tip-off we received from a reader, a YOG bus was involved in a multi-vehicle accident on the Pan Island Expressway in the direction of Tuas two hours ago, causing a massive jam along the PIE. The YOG bus was apparently empty and nobody was reported to be injured. Some motorists were heard hurling profanities at the scene. YOG drivers have received much flak from the public lately over their driving behavior such as tailgating, honing for vehicles in front to make way and cutting into others

This Lamborghini caught fire along Holland Road on Friday, a week after a Ferrari that went up in flames made local headlines. Reader Siva Sundram not only captured the drama on camera, he also was a part of it -- putting out the small blaze with a fire extinguisher he bought just the day before, which he had stashed in his car. According to the Singapore Civil Defence Force, the driver of the supercar was a 30-year-old man who had a female passenger with him. source: TODAY

Received a letter for speeding along "LORNIE RD > THOMSON RD" is it the part above the overhead bridge near the reservoir? been travelling there for 3 years and no prob. f%@@# Fined $150 and 6 demerit points But letter never state how fast i travel... i dun think i travelled very fast any bro advise whether if appeal will have chance of success or to just not waste time and pay up and move on

Its at the PIE exit. I was travelling along there this morning around 6am. Pieces of the plastic barricade are all over the road. Nearly hit them.

Just a minor accident. A Kangoo (I think its Kangoo or veh similar in shape to Kangoo) hit the back of a bus. Nothing serious, just the bumper of the bus is dented a little. The Kangoo looks fine though.

just after jalan kayu exit. A white subaru crashed pretty bad. Front crushed, car facing traffic. Wonder what was he doing given that it wasnt raining and theres not much traffic at all(even after the crash). Drive safe guys!

Guys, be extra careful with SB*618A Black Honda Stream RSZ with aftermarket exhaust, tint windows and clear smoke led taillamp. Drive recklessly, dont signal and check his blindspot. I almost had a accident with him and had to e-brake and swerve to the chevron marking to avoid contact at SLE slip rd entrance into TPE.

i was driving along Pasir Ris Dr. 8 after exiting TPE. it was a 3 lane road and it was empty except only me and the taxi, i was in the middle lane and was tailgated fiercely by a yellow citicab taxi. when traffic came to a stop at the junction of pasir ris ave 1, the taxi came alongside me and the driver was having his head bow. 2 bikes then went by the side of him, before the lights turn green, this taxi start revving crazily and inching out in a very exaggerating manner, the whole cab was rocking to n fro in from his revving n braking, the cab was in the middle of the junction when the light is still red. when the lights turn green, he didnt move, so me n the 2 bikers move off, i was on the left lane and the 2 bikes on my right, suddenly this taxi came along again n started revving and tailgating the 2 bikes, the 2 bikes didnt move, n the taxi want to cut half car into my lane and he looked like he wanted to side sweep the bikes, i immediately move and stop him from coming in and eventually the bikers sensed danger n move on to let him pass. i slowed down to let the bikes enter my lane and the taxi speed off. he was driving in a zig zag manner with heavy braking n acceleration at the next traffic light which is the junction of pasir ris dr 6, traffic was already there for sometime as the light was already red, this taxi proceed on and slam into the rear of a stationary nissan sunny driven by a malay encik whom has stopped at the traffic light for sometime already, i was alongside the taxi and the driver still have his head bow, the encik alight and the lights turned green. i wanted to be a witness but i didnt want to hold up the traffic in my lane, i turned left towards loyang pri sch along dr 6 and made a U-Turn hoping to park somewhere safe. when i returned to the scene, less than 1 min, both sunny and taxi were gone i can only suspect the taxi driver is drunk and ran off. i got the taxi driver lic plate. if u know the driver of the nissan sunny please contact me.

saw the pic of a champange gold ep80 wif gt kit and quadlight overturned along marymount rd towards amk on 01/05/2010 at about 1740hrs. report states tat driver, 22 and wife was taken to hospital. hope they are alrite!
