i am quite smitten by Samsung's new phone - the Samsung Note - after a friend showed it to me today. however, i am not familliar with the android platform. (nokia supporter) can anyone tell me how android's GPS navigator works ? and is the s/w free / maps free like nokia ? my N8 has voice navigation as well, what about android ? does samsung have its own proprietry GPS navigator s/w or maps ?

Apple seeks ban on 8 Samsung phone models Ok. This is just my own opinion. I never owned an iPhone. Played with my wife's regularly though, but never thought of owning one. After this case, I really never want to own one. The curve edge patent thing is too crap for me to accept. In my heart I hope people who are undecided between iPhone and Android to choose Android over iPhone after reading up on this case.

Any bro tried this apps, OpenSignalMap? I can get the location for the cellphone towers but not the triangulation towers that my phone is connected too, even I enable the GPS, it didn't work too. I like the idea how Iphone consolidates and standardize all the apps notification under the Notification Center, but as for Android, I notice the notification settings are all over the place at apps level. Does Android have a notification widget/apps equivalent to Iphone?
