  1. Hi everyone, Just to share with u that there's such an app in Android OS phones. Supplied by LTA, and gives you all the highways' live view shots of the traffic (about a few mins old). Helps me a lot when I send my girls to school. If the app shows a jam in the highway I wanna use, then I will use alternative routes.
  2. Hi Bro My wife and myself both use Microsoft Outlook to store our contacts and schedules using two different profiles (same computer). If I want to sync iphone(wife) using itune with Outlook for updating schedules and contacts, itune sync doesn't seem to allow me to select with profile to use. In the itune environment, i can only select to sync from Outlook but no options on the profile selection. Any advise? or did I miss out something?

  7. I'm in love with this App that i wanna share it with you guys. http://torque-bhp.com/ Bought off the cheapest Bluetooth OBD reader (~35 SGD? ) from ebay and it hooked up perfectly to my car and my friends. Allows me to clear and lookup fault codes, dyno and read off all sorts of engine readings like Intake temp/ignition timing (good for those who wanna see how their CAI or mods are fairing) there is a free and paid versions.... u could get paid versions for free on the black market (not discussing it here...) http://www.androidzoom.com/android_applica...orted_ftjq.html Or just mount it on ur dashboard to make it into a fancy ECU monitor (not quite HKS's FCON CAMP but its 35 bux!) the OBD reader also comes with lots of ECU scan/logging tools for the PC so either way... its a win.
  8. Lately I heard about VOIP (okay, mountain tortoise reporting here...) app on Android phone that allows calls, even video calls, to be made via WiFi connection. Any app to recommend? I tried SIPDroid and another one I can't remember, but I think there's some config to be done first. Make call, but did not get thru. How about international calls?
  9. I'm on the verge of getting new phone and will be using data plan. so, question as above. Is Iphone 4 better than Android market? If i get Android, which phone brand and model is a better model?
  10. Samsung Galaxy S getting Android 2.2 Froyo update now Posted by Affan on October 15, 2010 Samsung has started rolling out Android 2.2 Froyo update for Samsung Galaxy S worldwide. Some of Galaxy S users in Norway, Denmark and Sweden reported that they have already received the update. Previously Samsung announced that it will be available from mid of October, hitting first European users, followed by Southeast Asia, the Middle East Asia, North America, Africa and rest of the world. All you have to do is wait for it, as Samsung has sold more than 5 million of these devices, so it will take a little time. The Samsung Galaxy S already got hotspot capabilities and 720p video recording, so the key enhancements that it will bring to the device will be improved performance levels on Galaxy S, JIT (Just in Time) compiler and Adobe Flash Player 10.1. The other enhancements include Google Maps with Navigation meaning GPS navigation system with voice guidance, New Android Market with auto-updating, Pinch-to-zoom home screen flyover, improved default keyboard, Video records in MP4 format, New Search widget, Gmail application and Colored icons in settings. The Android 2.2 update is available via Kies (link below), which is Samsung

    Roewe 350

Although Google and the Chinese government are having a little row right now, this hasn't stopped China's love for Google products. The production lines for the Roewe 350 have started rolling out the sedan, which is designed to spearhead Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC)'s future products. It is certainly headed for hundreds of thousands of Chinese homes. In the process, it will employ Google's Android operating system, up until now only seen primarily on mobile phones and a handful of cheap personal computers. The Roewe 350 boasts a DVD and GPS system running on the most recent OS release: Android 2.1. Some of the amenities include direct web access and real-time traffic reports. The system also provides access to chat applications, which should really be a passenger-only activity while the vehicle is in motion. While it seems nice to have, it seems like it could be too tempting to some careless and reckless drivers. This is not the first time Google
